Ladies- Hope everyone is having a great weekend and aren't stressing too much! I just got a call from my dr. with an update on my embies. It's Day 3 and all 16 are still alive and growing. 13 are between 6-9 cells which is where they want them on day 3. They are going to transfer them on Monday (Day 5). I'm having the hardest time just waiting two days, I don't know how I'll make it through the 2ww. I'm already trying to figure out the earliest I can do a HPT. I think you have to wait at least 2weeks from your trigger. Does that sound right?

HelloKitty- I did get my period after I finished BCP. I had already started lupron and was very worried that my lining was going to be so thin after my period. The dr. said they expected my period and that it was fine. I have PCOS too and have had several miscarriages due to an unprepared lining, so I was REALLY worried about it. My lining went from a 4 to a 8 while I had my period thanks to the stims, so don't worry. It is now a 9 which my dr. said is good. It's not a big deal if you get your period after BCP, in fact, it may even be good to shed an old lining and get a nice fresh one for your embies!

MyBaby- how is your E2 level? Thinking about you...

Brandi- how are you doing? How is the 2ww going?

Hope you are all great! My husband is about to give me his first PIO shot. My ivf nurse gave me one yesterday and it didn't really hurt that much. It hurt more last night than it did when the needle went in. I hope my husband is good at this!!!

mulligan - I've read that some people take a HPT on the morning of their transfer to see if it picks up the HCG from the trigger shot. If it turns up negative, then you know the HCG is out of your body.

Day 9 Stims: I went in for u/s today and I have been instructed to trigger tonight and have retrieval early on Monday a.m. Doctor said that everything looks good and around 8-10 follies right now. He will have better idea at the retrieval. He also said it looks just like my last fresh cycle, just moved along a little faster.

Good luck to the girls heading for transfers. It is much smoother than the retrieval and the 2ww is not fun. I never take an HPT because I think it would drive me crazy, however it does seem to help others.

Take Care,
Sher8

Hey Everyone,
Had my Day 8 u/s today. I'm up to 11 follicles, ranging from 11mm to 17mm, with most being 13mm or 15mm. My E2 is 725. I go back on Monday for another u/s and then we wrill probably trigger Monday night, with ER being Wed. I'm hoping all continues to progress appropriately.
I hope everyone is doing well.
Hellokitty- I got a very scant period. You want a thin uterine lining when you start stims. Good Luck with your cycle!!
Melanie- Have you heard anything?

Hi Ladies!
I know I have been quiet but I am just patiently sniffing and awaiting my U/S and BW on Tuesday where they will hopefully let me start stimming. (I feel like I have been downregging for 13 months instead of 13 days!)

I log on every day to see how you are all doing!

Best wishes and loads of sticky baby dust to all of you!

Hi girls! Lots of updates from everyone...sounds wonderful!

I cried all night and all morning waiting for the call. Turns out it wasn't so bad and I made myself crazy for nothing. Of my 5 eggs, 4 fertilized! Yippee!!! I hope we get a couple good embies out of the 4! My transfer is Monday morning unless I hear otherwise from them. I was so relieved!!! As far as post-op from the retrieval, I feel basically fine...just a little crampy, not bad at all. I haven't any bleeding or spotting either, which I'm guessing is good.

Good luck everyone!!!!

good afternoon ladies, well its day 2 of bed rest and its driving me batty, my dh though talk about a god send hes been doin all the cookin and cleaning and pampering, i think i need bedrest more often lol. but today ive had alot of cramping especially when i stand up which im only allowed to do to go to the bathroom... so i called the nurse cause i was kinda concerned and she said it was all normal that it may be implantation pain she said that implanttion occurs around day 5 to day 7 so this should be around the time, god i hope so. there isnt a day that gos by i dont pray they are nestling in and making thmselves comfy....

mulligan, 2ww......insane!!!! ive got 9days until the 2nd and it seems to be draggin on forever its like the 2nd is never going to get here haha ive done good though i havent even bought an hpt....well not yet at least....but my nurse said to stay away from those and to wait until b/w because she doesnt want me getting my hopes up or getting dissappointed if it says neg when it really is pos so we will see how long i actually hold out for lol.

my dh has been cute though every since the date of transfer right before we go to bed he puts his face right up tp my tummy and chants stick embies stick like 5 times then goes to bed its actually kind of funny.

so question for u ladies...the pio any idea on how to keep it from hurting the day after i ice before injection but im realy sore now and ive rubbed it in when hes done....just curious cause both sides of my bum hurt.. ive noticed too im actually bruising!! i never bruise i didnt even bruise with the gonal f and lupron hmmmm go figure...other than that ladies all is well, everybody looks to bemaking great progress cant wait till we all get bfp's!!! :D :D :D
