Hi everyone

Shell - good luck for friday - my first scan and blood test is 28th - 2 weeks today - I am just knackered all the time - went to bed at 8 lats night and slept till 8 this morning - apart from that no other side effects yet - what about you?

Think they probably vary depending on drugs I am taking Buserelin.

Will try and catch up with everyone else tom - off to bed now

yarnista: WAY TO GO on giving your own lupron injection!!!!! gave you a sense of "i can do anything!!" ---- didn't it???

chriss: also pm'd you....but wanted to say that last week at this time, i was bummed too - cuz of low follie count (and for the record - i'm 33 and doc thought i was "perfect" age)......and look at me now --- 2 perfect embies back -- hopefully leading up to my BFP!!!!! chin-up girl.... we're all here for you

chelle: cheers to your 1st follie scan on friday!!! it will all start moving VERY fast after that moment.....try to cherish every moment!

observer: weren't you meeting w/ RE today to discuss your options????? well....................how'd it go??? are ya ready (and willing) to jump back on this roller coaster w/ us????

wishfull27: this is my 1st ivf/icsi cycle as well.....i can totally relate to you saying "nerves one minute and excitement the next!!" and the really cool thing is --- it only gets better!! my dh is also low count, low morph, not great quality overall ---- we also did icsi.....and all 4 of my eggs were fertilized!!!!! so GOOD LUCK TO YOU!!!

pequele: hang in there hun i know it's gotta be frustrating.... my dh and i "timed" ours as well and so i can only imagine how frustrated i'd be if things didn't go as "planned"......don't worry --- atleast now you're an expert "STICK-PEE-ER!!!!" ha, ha, ha

lisaPa: how's it going MOMMA???????????? hope all is well....sending lots and lots and lots of sticky baby dust your way in hopes your little ones are settling in nicely for the long haul!!!

i seem to be coming along quite nicely.....belly is quite pouched right out there --- dh says "you got big belly honey" (lovingly of course) ---- i used to be able to suck it in but doesn't seem to be an option these days!! ha, ha.....am hoping is for good reason!!!! eventhough i'm officially on my 2ww --- doesn't really seem like it.....i'm off work all this week - still on vaca and we're just putzing around the house doing stuff here -- of course i've been busy sitting on my bum!!! and loving every second of not feeling an ounce of guilt for watching trash tv ALL DAY LONG!!! ha, ha, ha!!!! am hoping the remaining time passes the same.......i go for bw on thursday -- just to make sure all my meds are doing what they are supposed to.....and then NEXT thursday (the 23rd) for my BFP!!!!!!!!!!!

You remembered, ICSI girl !
Yes, DH and I did meet with the RE today. She said that with me being 32 and the two embryos being high quality, she was dismayed that it didn't work. Since we are paying out of pocket and since I am such a poor responder, she gave us the option of not continuing if we wished, since she had me on a max dose and couldn't tweak the protocol anymore. She suggested donors might be an option down the road if this didn't work out.

But we said we were ready to give it another shot... so we're probably going to take the month off and then go for an Oct/Nov Cycle. This would mean that my EC would be in mid-Nov.

When we asked what might be wrong with me, she said I just don't produce a lot of follicles...she doesn't know why.

Anyway, I will keep writing and reading your posts, but will not have a whole lot to report over the next month or two.

Doc did say they have had some cases of folks getting preg naturally after a failed IVF... so DH and I will keep trying!!!

Hope everyone is well. As for me i am feeling good I go for my 1st u/s on the 27th and i cant wait i am hoping to see the heart fluttering by then i will be in my 6th week and i still cant belive it happened..I am hoping my luck rubs off on all of you.....

Angie__How are you girl? Hope all is well and you are resting and ringing that bell.... . I know the 2ww os torture but i belive in you and i know you can do it and not take that EVIL EPT. There is nothing like getting that phone call and knowing its VERY REAL ........IN YOUR BLOOD....... BLOOD TESTS DO NOT LIE OR GIVE FALSE HOPE. Remember that... I am thinking of you.......

Update
I started my Lupron today!!! I administered my first injection, but DH will do it from here on. The IVF coordinator wanted me to do in JUST IN CASE dh couldn't one day. I was nervous, but it really wasnt that bad. I feel fine. At first, the spot in my tummy where we injected the Lupron, it tickled and itched a bit...for probably about 30-45 minutes. But that is it. Now I sorta have very very very mild cramping but very mild. I am assuming this is normal?

Hi girls sorry not posted much I had a nightmare time with my PC after I downloaded Channel 4OD so I could watch the Big Brother eviction I missed the other week. My PC totally died and to cut a long story short I had to totally wipe everything and start again, so it's taken my ages to re-load all the software and I've just been quickly popping in for a read with no real time to post.

Pretty rotten day today too. I've been stimulating for 6 days now. Went for my action scan today and was hoping to have EC on Monday. However they had real trouble finding follies as there was only one 12mm and 4 others which were really small (I couldn't even see them). They have told us to come back on Tuesday to see if the extra time is enough to let the small ones grow but if not, or if the big one gets too far ahead of the small ones they will abandon my cycle. I felt really gutted and pretty down to be honest. I'm praying that they dont cancel our cycle. Has anyone had experience of follies taking a major growth spurt over this length of time, im PANICKING!

This must be a good sign, I stopped in to see my principal today to tell him that we are doing IVF again right now and that I may be missing a few days of school the first week. He was so great about it and said that'll be fine. I feel so relieved, I was really stressing.
I started stim tonight, DH has friends over so I was a big girl and did it myself. All went well.
Chelle: I hope that everything goes your way, don't give up hope yet.
PMA all the way, I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.
Christin: Glad to hear your lurpon went well.

Just checking in to see how everyone is doing......Seems like everyone is moving right along. As for me i feel fine tired but pretty much ok...I have changed all my eating habits though i find that eating 5-6 small meals a day seems to hold down the morning sickness. So advise to all of you YOU KNOW I BELIVE EVERYONE IS GETTING A BFP....... eat small meals the sick feeling is worse on a empty tummy....

Chelle--Read back on the post you will see what happened with me and my stimms i was on them for 12 days prior to my trigger shot so give it time your follies will grow.......i had follies that they did not even know were there till day 10 they were hidden behind wach other. things will be fine. Can I joint in, I am doing a natural FET cycle this month. I am not sure when since I have to wait to ovulate, then we can calculate when I can transfer.

Lisa, I've heard that about the small meals. Really happy for you.

Chelle, I did not respond well to the stims myself. I had a bunch of scans and now it looks like the most I have is three follicles. I had a few other smaller ones ,but they didn't develop. I don't know how quickly they can grow, it seems to vary form person to person, follicle to follice. Would they do the transfer with only one follicle? My clinic usually wants at least three. Have you considered IUI? I feel for you. Don't give up hope things can change. I've heard of some people who stimm extra days for the little ones to catch up. Maybe that's an option for you. Good luck.

Yarnista, great news about school. If things work out, my transfer will be about a week before school starts. I'll have a week to chill out before I start. I've been going in early to do as much as I can ahead of time. Have you been doing the same? Did you tell collegues? I'm keeping it quiet at school.
