So i will report back then. Has anyone every given their own progestrone shot? Dh works swing shift and I may have to give them to myself at times.

Hi everyone!
Sorry i've been out the past few days, just been resting up and getting through the 2ww. We test tomorrow morning...keeping every body part crossed for a BFP! :-) Did a HPT today (couldn't resist) and it was positive - now i just need the doc to confirm. BB's are getting bigger and are tender (not sure if this is from the progesterone shots) or some happy warm embies...spent the 2ww putting together the ultimate registry. DH and I have a pretty good idea of what we want and how we want to decorate - now we just need that BFP.

Donnell - the group is here to support everyone no matter what we are going through. Keep up with the PMA and you'll get that BFP in no time.

Donna - Sounds like things are going well. Keep resting and stay stressfree.

Nerms - You never know what can happen during these 2ww, your embies might just surprise you!

KD - any news?

Misty - congratulations!!!

Love - ER kicked my butt as well, but now you get to rest up and just get to your test. Wishing you the best.

carolinagirl - Get ready for relaxation, good luck with your transfer.

Kelly - congrats again. Hope to join you soon!

Love & baby dust to all!!!

LOL - thanks Donna!
The nurses said the trigger shot would be out of my system after 10 days. Well i took that shot 15 days ago so hopefully that HPT is accurate. I just couldn't wait.
I'll just have to wait another 24 hours for the BT tomorrow morning to come back from the lab...hope i'm not getting excited over nothing.

Congrats Lisa! That is amazing. Seeing all of you ladies with a BFP....SO gets my hopes up for my FET. To answer your question about sore BBs and them getting bigger....the progesterone shots will make your BB's sore, but pregnancy will make them bigger. I have sore BB's, but they are still the same size.

Now...let's watch your numbers rise and see how many are in there! :D

I am going to live vicariously through you ladies for the next month.

HI Ladies,

It's so great to hear all the BFP's.

Has anyone else eperienced anxiety as the date for ER comes closer. I'm so afraid this isn't going to work for us. I have all these what if's? going through my brain. What if my egg's are no good and all this expense was a waste (no insurance coverage for ivf or ivf med's) I am trying to keep a PMA and be strong just feeling emotional. I think I'm feeling negative today since a friend just had a baby this morning. I'm so happy for her but I can't help but feel depressed.

I start stimming tonight (yeah!) and have my first u/s on Monday. The have be doing 375 Gonal F and 1 vial (or 1cc) of Menopur does that seem like alot? I've asked my RE about my eggs and he says I responded fine to the med's for IUI and he wasn't concerned that my eggs were no good. I've been doing the Lupron for a while now. I began AF on Monday it's the strangest cycle ever for me. It's been 6 days and I still have AF should I be concerned?? or is this a side effect of Lupron?

Thanks for all your help ladies it's so nice to have people to share this experience with.

Good Luck to Everyone can't wait to hear all the BFP's

Well............I hate to have to come here to share bad news. It was a BFN for us today. I really thought this time was it. Again everything went very smoothly, things looked good, no troubles, but just not meant to be. I am trying very hard to remain forward focused and not on what I thought was going to be. It is hard for me not to beat myself up over what I may have done wrong or for something I should have done differently it is so hard to separate rational and irrational thinking at this point. We have a wonderful son who is 7, conceived with our very first clomid/iui, I focus on that and how blessed we are with that. We had no embies to freeze, so I am pretty sure that we are done with ivf, but really cannot say today.

Best wishes to everyone through all of your ups and downs.

KD ~ I am so sorry to hear about your BFN. We are all still here for you. So what is next, do you have a follow up appt with your RE scheduled? They put me on a massive amount of Follistim and Menupur and I overstimmed and they retrieved a lot of eggs. Maybe you can ask for a more aggressive protocol if you try again. Needless to say, we are all here for you.

Lots of hugs!

Donnell

Positive HPT!!!!!!!!!!

Post by baby_or_bust »

OMG, OMG, OMG!!!!!!!!!!! Ladies - Negative Nellie got a +++++ HPT! I got up this morning - did my First Response and within a minute I got a faint line. I couldn't believe it so I sent DH to the store and he got me a Clear Blue Easy Digital and I waited about 30 minutes - squeezed out a little pee and it came up with the beautiful words - PREGNANT!

My blood test is Tuesday and I am so scared because I got my + HPT so late compared to my other PG's. But at least today....I am PG.

I will keep you all updated. My poor good to fair embies- at least one of them took! Now I really have to figure out a way to post my pics.

Lots of hugs to all!!! Wish me luck!

~Donnell

P.S. I still have no symptoms except sore BB's which I am guessing is from the progesterone shots.

KD- I am so so sorry. Breaks my heart to hear that news, it was what I was prepared to hear. I wish you the best in the future and lots of luck if you and your dh deside to try once more.

Donnell- CONRGRATS to you! That is so wonderful. Isn't it amazing the emotional rollercoaster we go thru! I will be looking to see an update from you!

Michele - I hope you had luck with your stimming last night,! I can't answer your question though cause my AF were always messed up...I'm sure it is fine though.

Carolina Girl, I had only 4 retrieved and all were fertilized and I got my BFP on the 26th so it only takes one, I think that is a great number! congrats! :D

KD, I'm so sorry. That must have been devastating. Take time to grieve. You need to do that and it's ok to do that. I can't even imagine how I will react if my result is negative. You are so blessed to have a child already. Definitely stay focused on that.

Lisa, Congrats on the BFP. That is amazing news. Enjoy the moment.

Michele, I was extremely anxious about the ER. I was asking myself the same questions. I'm sure all of us have. Try to relax. I know that is impossible to do. You really have no control over anything. That's the part that stinks. I was on 300 Gonal F and 150 Repronex at the end, so I don't think you are on a high dose at all. It depends on your dr. I also had my period for longer on Lupron.

Carolinagirl, That is great news. We had 7 fertilize and we had 4 good ones, so you should hopefully have some good news at the ET.

Donnell, Congrats!!! That is great news. I pray that your blood test confirms it. How many days are you? I'm debating on doing an HPT a couple days before my blood test. My clinic tests so much later than other clinics.

I ended up driving out to Albany to celebrate my friend's 30th birthday last night. I'm sure I overdid it this weekend. I pray it doesn't affect my BFP. I really believe what's meant to be, is meant to be, though. I hope all the other ladies testing get their BFPs soon.

See donnell, I told u not to give up! Congrats on that bfp. I hope I get one too. I haven"t really had any cramping till today, this evening. I don"t know if that means anything or not!! Dh said my boobs got bigger! They hurt too, but I think its the progesterone. This 2ww is killing me. I did do an hpt to confir that the trigger shot is out of me. And it is!!

Once again congrats donnell!

Wow -- there is so much going on with this group right now it's just amazing!!! I had BT this morning and had to wait three hours for the results. Those were the more stressful and anxious hours. DH and I did everything we could think of to keep busy but literally jumped when the phone rang. Almost had a heart attack but got an offical BFP from the doctor!!! Numbers were HCG 240 and Progesterone 120. SO EXCITED!!! Had dinner with our families to share the news as they all knew to some degree about what we are going through. Now just waiting for another two weeks to find out how many are in there before sharing the news with more people.

Anyone else having to continue with the progesterone shots and estradiol patches? i have to keep using both through week 11.

Donnell - my fingers are crossed for you, keep up your PMA - you never know what can happen. LOL, I couldn't keep from doing the HPT either.

Donna - good luck with the 2ww, it was hard for me. Tender bb's are due to the progesterone but the increase in size is a very good size. My dh was quick to notice the difference (happily) - he noticed before i did. :-)

KD - you are in my thoughts and prayers. Please let us know how you've decided to move forward with this current challenge.

Michele - I got anxious before my ER but not that bad as the RE had a good idea of what we were going to be able to retrieve. The pregnancy test was more stressful for me.

Love & Carolinagirl - how are you doing on 2ww?

Lots of love and TONS of baby dust for everyone!!!
