Hi Ladies,

Kris, sorry your experiencing contractions, hope it all settles down soon for you. Take care.

angie, so glad your feeling movements more regularly, and starting to fill out.

Hi to everyone else, hope you are all doing well.

Kimberli, not long now till you finish work, bet your excited. When do you go on bed rest?

As for me, had the top up scan today to check twin 2's spine as it was laid wrong last week. Anyway got a good view and all is well, got a couple of extra bonus pics too for the collection. Starting to feel them move more over the last few days, still not constantly but very reassuring.
catch you all later.

HI ladies,

Sorry I have been a bit scarce. Work has been a little busier than usual. Guess I am feeling more up to doing things now so have taken on a few extra jobs.

Sounds like everyone is coming along very nicely :)

I had my 2nd appt with my OB which made me feel a little better about him. I think I was just too emotional at last visit and took everything more sensitively. Anyways, his matter is still casual and matter of fact. Must be like that with everyone. Can't say I've bonded with him but we've only had 2 visits. He's hoping we can make it to 37 weeks with twins but says the likelihood is 40% chance of coming earlier with multiples.

Had our 19 week scan and took my folks along. Mum cried when she saw the bubs on the screen. I am now being monitored by the best twin sonographer in Aust so he puts me at ease and is extremely reassuring. Wish I could have him for my OB :?

Kiana still has a small abdominal cyst that they are saying does not pose any concern at the moment but will need to be monitored. Unusual but has been seen before. Hoping it is just an ovarian cyst. It is not connected to any other organs and is smooth walled so they believe it is benign. Time will tell I guess. Our little boy Ayden (we changed the spelling!) is going great guns, measuring about 5 days ahead of Kiana and a little fatty at 256 grams, Kiana's weighing in at 240. So precious. They told me to expect the boy to press on bladder and the girl to poke my ribs in due time - FUN!!! Hmm....

Been feeling tiny air bubble flutters sometimes at night or after eating. Nothing significant although I am aware it's them. I'll be 20 weeks on Thursday. Had my doppler on yesterday and one of them actually kicked which made my stomach pulsate and pushed the doppler off! Was so exciting. Think they're trying to tell me something

Don't have another scan now for 5 weeks..Longest ever and that's only to monitor Kiana's cyst. No other abnormalities were found so we're pleased so far. Found out the best news today. My friend that I was telling you about that is 41 and on her 12th IVF attempt is pregnant - on her 12th try! She got pg on her 1st IVF but was given 1 in 2 chance of down syndrome from her nuchal which was confirmed on an amnio so she lost the baby at 14 weeks, sad sad story. Anyways she's currently 6 weeks along and we can't believe it. Made me so happy.

Well I'm feeling really good now and happy to be alive. Life is wonderful with my growing belly. I feel so blessed. I have shot 2 TV commercials since being pregnant and have got copies of both ads so that I can show the kids they were in my tummy while I was on air! Getting harder to hide the bump though - I've put on 8 kilos already and 4 inches all round. My BBs are 40" !!!!!!!!!! Had to buy a 16DD bra from a 12D HELP!!!!

Sorry for the long post... and that it's all about me. Just wanted to keep you all updated.

More later

Hi Ladies,
Dexter- glad to hear all is going well. I still say if the dr isn't worried then you have nothing to worry about. Hopefully the more you see the dr the better you will feel about him.
Jayne- Glad to hear you are starting to feel them. I feel mine everyday now and it's so amazing especially when they are both going at it. I can't imagine what its going to be like when they get bigger.
Kris- Long time no hear but glad to hear that things are well with you too. I love the two names you are thinking about!

As for me I had another sono yesterday and the girls are doing good. I hated the sonographer we had she rushed through the appt and could barely see or understand her. Plus the pics she did were not even worth it! I made my next appt and requested the person we had last time and they said it was no problem so hopefully it'll be better next time. My husband and I were so disappointed. However, the important thing is they are both growing and look good. I go back in 3 wks. My dr said I'd be going more and more as time goes by.
Tomorrow is my last day of work and I'm counting down! I cannot wait till I don't have to get up at 6 am for awhile and hopefully get some sleep before they are born.
Keep in touch,

hi ladies - how are we all doing? I've got ice blocks on my feet as it's so hot here - I really don't want my legs an ankles to swell.

I'm feeling the baby bobbing around a bit more which is good - still wouldn't desribe the feeling as strong but it's quite reassuring.

ANyone started looking at strollers yet ? We've got our eyes on a Phil & Ted 3 wheeler which looks pretty neat and is very manoveurable. Mountain Buggys look quite good too though - so many to choose from!

Hi Everyone! I haven't posted on here in a long time but I still read up on you girls to see how you are doing. I have just been super busy and seems like I am always too tired to type after I get home from working all day.

I am doing well. We found out about 5 weeks ago that our baby is a little girl. We are very excited.

The only thing is that they said my baby is small so they are going to monitor me. She wasn't really worried because DH and I are both small people. I am 5'2" and my DH is only 5'5". She said we may just be having a small baby. I go back in on Tuesday so they can measure her again.

I am glad everyone is doing well. Only about 15 more weeks and I will have a little baby to take care of!!! We can't wait!!!!

Take care everyone,

Hi Everyone,
I hope everybody is doing well. I'm officially on bedrest now. It's nice being able to lounge around but frustrating not being able to do much. We had a dr appt yesterday. Everything is looking good and we were able to schedule our c-section for June 13th. It's kind of fun knowing exactly when the girls will be here, provided all goes well. We met with the pediatrician today which was recommended by a friend of ours. Both my husband and I had a really good feeling about the practice. Things are really coming along. I'm so excited!
Keep in touch everyone a few more months and we'll all be mothers!

Hi Ladies,
I hope everyone is doing well it's been awhile since anyone has written. Just wanted to bump us up to the top and give an update. I had a sonogram the other day and the girls are growing the way they should. Jaqulynne is 2.2 lbs and Taylor is 2.5. I'm doing ok just getting a little stir crazy from being cooped up at home. Tomorrow is my baby shower and that should be fun! I can't wait to see all the cute things I'll get.
Take care everyone and keep in touch.

Hello Ladies, My DW and I just returned for our 24 week u/s and I am a little concerned about my daughter(we are having b/g twins) Anyways, my boy is at 1.9 ounces and my girls is at 1.2 ounces. My DW's uterus is closing a little faster than they would like so our doc told her to take it easy...stay off your feet as much as possible. I dont like the combo of a slow growing little girl and fast closing uterus myself. Can someone help ease my mind.

I don't know a lot to say to ease your mind except that I have heard so many times (and my doctor told me this) that the ultrasound can be off. My baby is measuring small so they are monitoring me but everything seems to be fine. She is growing as she should and everything is proportionate so the doctor doesn't seem concerned. I know this is not a lot of help but just know that the ultrasound is just an estimate. I have a friend and her doctor told her the entire time that her baby was small and under 6 lbs...well, she delivered a 7 lb. boy!

Good luck! Tell DW to get plenty of rest and stay off her feet.

Hi everyone-
Vicker- I can't imagine how stressed you are feeling. I don't really have too much to say either except that it could be that she implanted alot later than your son. That could cause the difference in size between the two. Although they were put in the same time implantation for each one could have occured at different times causing one to be bigger than the other. Just keep your wife off her feet pamper her and take care of things she would normally take care of. Hopefully that will help.
Melinda- Glad to hear you are doing well. My shower was a lot of fun and I couldn't believe all the wonderful things I got! I think people just love to shop for babies! I know I do it's a lot of fun.
Keep in touch everyone and keep us updated!

Thanks everyone. Just a quick update. We had another ultrasound last night and my boy gained another 7 ounces in 5 days bringing him to 1lb 15 ounces. My dainty little girl put on 4 ounces bringing her to 1lb 6 ounces. So there is a 1/2 lb difference and the doc said as long as they stay within a pound of each other, everything is fine.

Funny thing is we went to the Mother of Multiples sale and one of the moms there told me that her son weighed over 5lbs and the girl was just a little over 3lbs at birth.

Hi Ladies, and Gent,

Vickers, so sorry you had a scare, i am glad the dr is happy with the last scan.I think it is very common for twins to be very different in size. hang in there.

Melinda, glad everything is moving along smoothly for you.

Kimberli, good sizes on the babies, are you going crazy on the bed rest yet?

Angie, have you decided on the pushchair yet? we are going to look at a Phil & Ted side by side one this week, its taken 6 weeks to come into stock, but it is our preferred one at the moment. Just been crazy trying to find a store that stocks it!!

Got a weeks holiday this week, so going crazy in the garden next couple of days as its supposed to be dry, then going shopping for all the baby things. So far have only bought 2 sleepsuits!! But have finally made decisions on the cots and car seats. The sun is out so catch you all later.

Hope all our other ladies are doing ok.
