So sorry I have not been on much. I hope everyone had a great holiday. I started my Lupron on Friday and lets just say I'm super moody. Snap at the littlest things. Doesn't help that I have PMS either. I think it should be protocol to give us Zanax or Valiums along with these drugs;)
Leora so glad you WTF appointment went well. It sounds like they have a good plan for you and 2011 will definitely be your year.
Margi and Heather good luck today
Lou I think I recall it was you who menitoned something about Vitamin D. My RE has also had me on Viatmin 2000mg a day. Plus 2 Tums. After 3 months of being on it. My follicle count went from ranging 8-11 to 17 follicles. Not sure if the vitamin D had anything to do with it but if with this next cycle it's still around that or higher it might just be.
Katie sorry you are bleeding and crampy but you have very strong numbers so I bet it's just implantation or liek someone else said loss of a twin. Try not to stress.
Kildean 23 awesome beta
Ryann- Can't wait for Thursdays U/S results will be exciting to see if you have one or two little beans
I'm sure I have forgotten some, but hard to catch up when Ive been gone for so long. Hopefully this week is quiet at work, so I can catch up.

Hi All - Thanks for all your kind words I am trying to keep up PMA but I am feeling horrible so it is hard - have to stay laying down otherwise the bleeding is too intense -which is tough with k2n year old. I am going to doc this morning for a US to see what is going on let you all know -
Me: Kt-42 - DH: Louie-50

Leora -- Greece!!!! You sooooo need this break. But I'm still a lil jealous though...lol.
Kildean -- Wow... great beta! Congrats, you're pregnant!
Margi -- Praying for a surprise positive beta for you today my friend.
Katie -- I'm so sorry you are going through this. I think it's good you are seeing the doc for an u/s today. I'm praying it's a SCH and the baby(ies) are fine in there. Please keep us posted.
Sweatpea -- Wow... That's a nice increase in follice count from 8-11 to 17! Was the only difference the vitamin D? I hope you respond well like that again this time. I know Vit D is essential for quality but maybe helps quantity too??
AFM -- I will be ordering my remaining needed meds after Jan 1st, I wanted to avoid the holidays so it didn't get messed up. I feel so lucky that I was able to get Follistim and Menopur donated to me from some wonderful women I have met on this site. In the past I've used 450 units of Follistim but understand this cycle I may use up to 600!!! That is one expensive shot!!! My basal temp rose today confirming ovulation yesterday. The plan is to start Estrace 2mg twice daily on 1/6, baseline on 1/10, and stims on 1/11. I'm feeling optimistic this time around.

Margi – I have all of my fingers and toes crossed! Stay out of crazytown! Yes, it’s so nice to have another IUI sister out there! I’m here for you cheering you on!
Justsolost- WELCOME! We are glad to have you and I’m so glad that you have already found support here. I am excited to root you on!
Leora – I’m curious to know how things will go for your friend. Do keep us in the loop. As for donor sperm, it’s such an emotional journey. When we started all of this 1.5 years ago, DH was TOTALLY against it. Then, as we were pushed in a corner and had no other decision to make, he really was okay with it. He told me the other day that he’s glad that it’s taken us 3 IUI’s now, I looked at him like he was totally nuts, and he said, you know when we did the first one with DS, I still wasn’t 100% comfortable with it, he is now, so he’s like, lets get this show on the road! For each person, it takes a different journey to get there. For us, it was the priority game. We ranked (1) have our own biological children (2) my eggs with donor sperm (3) donor embryos. I guess we thought if it can’t be both of ours, then at least we could have it be my eggs at least. Have you looked at some donor sperm banks? One point for us was, it would be easier to find sperm that is from someone so much like DH than to find donor embryos that are like both of us. We are so happy with our anonymous donor, because he is so much like DH that it seems like the next best thing…for us! I’m not trying to convince you at all, just give you our thought process, which has been extremely difficult. It’s a journey and I’m hopeful I can help in anyway. Trust me, I’m still mourning the loss of us not ever having biologically children of our own. It gets easier, but it’s still not gone. I feel like my children have died. I know that sounds crazy, but do you feel like that? My husband has gone through all of those tests as well and they still can’t determine why he has non-obstructive azoospermia. On another note, I’m wondering if his half-brother may have it. We haven’t told family about all of the details, so they don’t know, but his brother is 22 now and has a very serious girlfriend and I really hope they don’t have problems! Try California Cryobank website, maybe they would ship to Israel? I’m so sorry for this horrible anniversary for you. I am seriously in tears. I’m so glad that you had a great appointment with the RE and happy that you are still going to try with Dh sperm! My next AF should be on 1.18, so still waiting
NWQUIZ – That’s interesting, my clinic said they wouldn’t ever mix samples because it’s not allowed.
CjinNC – I agree, I’ve changed my mind so many times about what we would do as more things happen. I’ve learned through this process to be open to all possibilities and explore them for what they are. I am super hopeful that this will be a great process for you.
Lou – Thanks my friend, very interesting about the herbs. I’m taking “Dynamic Greens” daily drink with antioxidant power of 20+ servings of fruits and vegetables! Who the heck knows.
Annashope! I am so so very excited for you! Congrats!
Heather – We are all rooting you on! Don’t give up yet!
Kbills- I’m so very sorry for your BFN. I’m so glad you are starting again right away. This is going to be your cycle!
Rio – YES! I am so excited! A perfect little bean! How wonderful! I expect my IUI to be around Jan 31st!
Anacris- Can’t wait to hear about the next u/s. I know the waiting is so painful…but it will be great!
Katieb – OH MY GOSH! What is happening?
Kelly – I am so very very sorry. Just remember, you can always change your mind. I hope you will be able to try again.
Amanda – Thanks for crashing in on us! I hope you have a great new years!
Sunshine – You have masterfully encompassed so many of my feelings. Thank you for sharing yours.
Ryann – I’m so glad that things are going well!
Kildean – That’s awesome! Congrats!

I am beginning to feel like someone is working against me on scheduling an IUI for next cycle. I was excited twice over that I was able to find two ladies willing to sell their left over meds for a great price, but twice in a row they both ended up selling to someone else. I understand it happens, but its feeling like the odds are fighting me - maybe trying to tell me to quit??? I have the next 3-4 weeks to collect my meds, or I can't schedule. Has anyone purchased meds from freegaragesale.com? I am worried about scammers. Its just so scary dealing with strangers half way across the country when they could be filling the follistim vials with water. I had a friend buy hcg from a lady via FedEx COD and ended up paying $50 for an empty box. The FedEx guy wouldn't wait for her to open the box, but when she did her husband chased him down in the neighborhood and got her money back. Are there any other good sites?

Carol have you called Freedom Pharmacy? They give a huge discount for cash paying customers. Not sure what drugs you need for your IUI. I get all my meds from them. They have pricing listed on website. http://www.freedomfertility.com/fertili ... icing.aspx
I do have some Cetrotide 0.25 MG 4/5 vials. Which is another brand of Menopur but not sure if they use that with IUI's.

Ok so.....as for me. I paid for a low cost two cycle plan. I have 9 frosties and could do a fresh cycle or FET. What I found out was if I do FET as my next cycle, that would be considered as a second cycle in my plan. DH and I decided to do another fresh cycle and start with my cycle in January for a transfer in Febuary. I am praying for a BFP this time

xoheatherxo-am so sorry. i have been crossing my fingers for you and margi to get good news. but like you said it you are ready for the next step. maybe it will be better and yes 2011 is going to be a very good yr.
Hi All - Just wanted to update you - had a ultrasound they didn't see anything as they suspected - but they also didn't see any blood in uterus so that could mean it all passed out by then or it could mean that everything is OK. In my case it means the former it has already passed out and my HCG numbers have plummeted to around 3000 so now it is just a matter of time for them to drop completely & we will decide if we are going to do this again - I am sorry I am not doing personals I just can't even see straight through my own grief right now - so sorry & I will be in touch. Thanks for all your support ladies!

Sweetpea, thanks for the info. I have heard they had better pricing. They are better than Success Meds that my RE uses, but its still higher than I can afford right now. I'll keep checking around though.
Heather sorry about the BFN
