LauraN - Here is the recipe for the pineapple juice for detoxicating for 2 people:

1/3 of a pineapple,
10 mint leaves (or more if you'd like)
2 cups of water
Stevia or raw sugar

Use a blender - add some ice, its great! I need to make some, I gained some weight

Tawny - there is no one feeling that can discribe being pregnant. So dont look at the signs and symptoms. But all in all good luck. Go ahead and poas girl am poas pusher here.

Lauren- I dont see or have heard of follicles stopping to grow, That is new to me. Anyway fingers crossed that one with be the fighter that will bring you your golden baby.

Hi! So ET is tomorrow..today the embryologist said my embryo was growing nicely..was 4 cells and good quality. Guess I will get more info tomorrow!

Tawny-Praying for your BFP tomorrow. Please update us asap I will be checking in all day waiting to celebrate with you!! Your better than me not POAS...im an addict LOL Maybe I will do something different this time and not POAS! we take so many drugs that symptoms are hard to go by! Dont stress and know were all pulling for you!!

Leoria-HOW ARE YOU?? You had ET correct? Praying this is the one that brings you a baby home in 2013!!

AFM-Nervous about ET, bedrest for two entire days!!!!!!! I have to go on medical leave bc theres no light duty at my job! How about having relations/sex with your DH prior to transfer? My RE recommends it. My previous RE never recommended this so Im curious! Any thoughts would be nice. Also anyone do the Leup shot after transfer?? Wonder if they will grade my embryo tomorrow! Thanks for all your support..it truly means the WORLD to me!!

Lauren - The pineapple juice is good detox juice, it also helps losing weight. My mom took it and lost so much weight. I like to take before and after the IVFs (I've done 3 so far).

Good luck in your transfer tomorrow! I never had relations before the transfers because I was always bloated and sore, but I guess if your doctor said its not a problem its ok then YOu should avoid it after the transfer though. What do you do for work? Definitely stay home. Are you on out IVF facebook group?

Lauren- I was told no relations after Retrieval until beta or ultra sound. I was told that the mucas and sperm may contaminate your uterus and make it an unhealthy enviroment, if that makes any sence at all. This round I stayed at home and in bed well on the couch for 2 days and then light duty for 2 then back to work but I wanna think I should have taken 2 more just because it was alot of stress when I got back to work. My first IVF I took a week off and it bought drove me nuts!! I never had an E2 test so I can't help you there. They only did Esradiol and progesterone test on me. Which my progesterone test was alot lower this round then last and my estradiol was higher.

I will deffinently post my beta on here tomorrow after I call the DH that is. I hate POAS just something about that wait it drives me nuts. I was late last cycle and the needed me to start by a certain time so they could do IVF. They wanted a prego test bfore they put me on meds I opted to get blood work I just hate the anxioty of looking at the stick.

Welcome back Pocos I missed you!! My first beta is tomorrow and then again Thurs. I'm nervouse I want a BFP sooo bad and I can't fathem what could have gone wrong. He said the eggs look great!!

Lauren - we got 11 eggs - but only 2 of them fertilized - so this cycle was also a huge disappointment for me. We transferred both embryos (4 & 5 cells - so a bit slow -- should be 6-8 cells on day 3) last Friday. Beta isn't until December 18th

I'm not too optimistic -- so I'm trying not to POAS.... but we all know I will!

If this cycle doesn't work, we are taking a nice big vacation ( a cruise in Europe)

Ugh! I hate all of this crap!

AFM- Paid our deposit on DE and will cycle in March. Can't wait to get started again. We picked our eggs and am so excited that we found a match who is a mirror image of me.

Leoria-glad to hear from you. I know all this ivf crap is mentally draining as well as physically:( a cruise thru europe sounds awesome!!! We have my sisters wedding in turks this spring! what did your RE have to sa abt the fertilization? that happened to me once and i was devastated too. Im sorry your feeling down but try and stay positive! how was the fragmentation etc..there still growing and it only takes one! praying for you!

AFM-So I had my Et this morning. She said it was a 7 cell with less than 25% fragmentation but growing nicely! IDK Im praying this is the one. They gave me valium and I still had a bit of a painful transfer between my bladder and all. Gave us a pic of the embryo too IDK what Im looking at..LOL So im home on the couch, had lunch DH will be home later from work, back to RE on fri for u/s, bw and my shot of luep and the beta 12/22

Lauren- Omg you are officially PUPO!!! Ugh I remember being sore too, everything happens so fast from the retreival to transfer. I pray this brings you the best present under that tree! Now rest and let dh wait on you hand and foot. Btw Love it when they give us an autographed picture of the embibaby, even though it's foreign to me it still makes my day! Last cycle they gave a embie picture to my MIL too, I just laughed and thought oh well she's already part of the process in carrying me to the hospital she might as well have a picture too.

Tawny- Thinking and praying hard for your beta day, ugh it must be hard waiting to find out. It's hard for me and I'm not even cycling but I have everything fixated, this is your time!

AFM: I'm meeting with dh to take a "RE phone calll" this afternoon! Hopefully it will shed some light on our next best step. But from what the IVF Attain coordinator is telling me I may have to go through a FET before I can move to another fresh cycle esp. if I want to be still qualify for the refund if we don't bring home a baby. Meantime dh has a job interview in Birmingham on Friday and another job interview in Virginia on Monday. Both colleges want to personally meet with him face to face, I wish I could go with him and at least check out the area but these holiday hours are my obligation even though I don't like the long hours, I have to stay put and keep myself busy.

Pocos- we transfered 2 Grade A and hatching embies, and we have 3 frosties with the same as transfered. I feel so much more positive about this round that I'm impatently waiting my results I'm looking for numbers over 20 right? last IVF I was a 18.8 the first test. The sucky part is I did my blood work here in town now a carrier has to pick it up and take it to Urbana 45 min drive process it and then call me. DH is already texting wanting to know if the docs called yet. Probably wont get a call til like 2 or 3, makes for a very long day.

Thank you Sunshine I'm really hoping this is it. My mom doesn't know I did another IVF and ultra sound will be week of christmas what an awsome christmas present an ultrasound pic would be.

Lauren- I wish I had asked for a pick of the u/s during transfer. We didn't get to see the first one but I seen this one but I might have become obsessive with it. I want a portable u/s so I can keep an eye on the little embies inside right now. Dr J said we were looking at a white blob which is the fluid, inside that is the embies. If that helps. You have a u/s on Friday???? Sooo jelous.

Lauren - Congrats on being PUPO. my friend only had one egg to transfer and has a 2 yr old now.. so i know you heard it before.. it only takes one. We only transferred one embryo for my FET.

Ok soooo doc's called!!! AND...... my beta is 573.4 oh yeah so far we have a BFP!!!!!
I do have an apt tomorrow they think I may have a yeast infection but my next blood test is Thurs to confirm.
I have to increase the prometrium to 3x a day and stop my estradiol. I hate the prometrium so gross as it is.

Tawny!!! WAHOOOOOOOOO girl CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!! WHAT A BETA, THIS IS WHAT I"M TALKING ABOUT!!!
I have to ask how many embies did your doctor actually transfer??? WOW!!! ok I'm calming down now and reading you actually only transfered two with a high quality. I'm sending you doubling vibes for Thursday and yes your mom is going to LOVE her Christmas present this year!

I'll post more the next chance I get, but I had my follow-up with RE this afternoon. He recommended that we try a FET cycle but he said we could transfer as many as we wanted. I mentioned transfering 3, he said that's your choice but Christy you are playing with fire. We looked at every angle and dh brought up the idea of only transferring one and using the other two for later on. I thought hmmm I had not thought of being conservative. We do know we have to try a FET since our agreement with ATTAIN would be cancelled if we forfeited a FET and didn't go through all six cycles, but I like the idea of saving some for later on and 2 frosties is better then one solo litle guy in the frig all alone.
