Best of luck Minnow.
Pauline, I have hot flushes in the night and disturbed sleep too some nights and then other nights I'm out like a light till the alarm. Very odd. Slept rubbish last night but we've started taking antibiotics from the hospital in preparation of EC and th enurse said they'd make us feel odd. Nevermind! Hope your body settles down so you can get some rest. Take care

Just had my second scan. Bad news  There are too many follicles. 20 on one and 16 on the other. BIG IBG risk of OHSS!!! They have lowered my puregen now and will scan me again on Thursday together with a blood test to see if I'm suitable to go ahead with the EC. Really really depressed at the moment, as this is going to set my date back even more.

Huge hug to you, you must be feeling rubbish at the mo but there is good news - you're producing eggs!!
Don't get too dispondent it could still all go to plan - drink piles of water to stop OHSS.
Take care

I am so sorry - try and stay calm and relaxed. There's still hope that everything can go ahead as planned.

Fingers crossed, PMA and hugs to you.

Kagome, Take it easy for the next couple of days...you can also look on the bright side...I had only 6 follies..of which only 1 egg fertilized (with ICSI) so we never even got to decide about freezing any embryos...atleast you will have a chance with 36 follies!! :D :D

Hi Pauline ... Starting jabs at last !! Good luck tomorrow

Minnow .. Glad you've started your sniffing - now you're really moving along .. Hoorah !

Kagome .. Don't despair Kagome. These meds do weird and wonderful things. A lower dose can easily sort you out. Make sure you drink the 2ltrs of water per day to minimise the risk. Good luck with your scan on Thursday.

Minnow----what bad moods? do people get bad moods whilst down regging.....ROFL..... :D

Good luck everyone else. There's SO much happening now isn't there?

Looking to you guys to better the batting average :D

I had EC today and collected 11 eggs of which 8 or maybe 9 are good enough for ICSI. I've got the dreaded 2 day wait now to see how many fertilise.
EC was OK as I was asleep for it, but I feel a bit uncomfortable at the mo.
Last time I had ICSI I had to take a HCG injection after ET but this time I've been given pessaries which I'm not looking forward to! The hospital said no more jabs, just wait but it feels strange not doing anything, I feel like its all out of my hands now, and I dont like it!
Sandra - Hope your embryos are OK, I'll be thinking of you when I phone tomorrow to see how many of mine are fertilized.
Kagome - Dont worry about to many follicles at least you'll get to freeze some!
Good luck to everyone

Susie

Congratulations - that's a good number of eggs.

Now get plenty of R&R and look after yourself.

Susie - Glad to hear your EC went well. Eight or 9 mature enough for ICSI is a good result. Hope you have slept some ?? I seem to have been dreaming about hormone levels all night. Good luck today re fertilisation. I know just how horrible that phone call is.

Heather ... Thanks Heather. I've got the dreaded phone call to make in a couple of hours, to make sure all is on track for ET. Aagghhh. Well, not 2 hours - 1 hour and 46 mins to be exact !! Not that I'm counting down or anything !
