Hi all,

Drama over!!! :D I am now doing injections right, no air bubbles. I cant believe that for 7 weeks i was doing the burselin wrong, no wonder i am full of hot air  Thank you all for the advice, it is greatly appreciated.

Judy - Well done on your injections, no i havent tried the visualisation thing, i didnt know about it. I had the book but gave it away a couple of months ago.

Lisa- Wishing you a bumper crop of eggies, take care and good luck for tomorrow

Lipple P - Thanks for the info, nice to see you about and progressing well

Paula - Hello dear, glad you are popping in keeping us all in order  Im doing fine, no symptoms of stimms yet. House is a mess still, but by christmas im sure i will be happy to live here!! We now have loads of wires hanging from kitchen beams (no ceiling), hopefully none are live!! Where are you up to? When is your next blood test

Take care all & good luck

love

hello all my fellow septembies.....

we are doing good today.... i'm so ready to start stims (saturday) i really can not stand taking lupron.... i get so many headaches and hot flashes.. i know what it's going to be like in menapause...

Lisa and Pootle..... you both are having your first EC and going under.... good luck and many wonderful eggs for you both... one thing that i found really helps..... right when they are putting you under..... start to "count eggs" like counting sheep, but eggs... then it seems so pleasent!!! enjoy!!

sue e- glad that the whole injection thing is figured out, and hope that stims are going well...... think positive, and imagine the eggs growing!!

judy-hoping that your eggs are growing and you are doing well. I think that DH's can only tackle one thing at a time... lacking in multi-tasking

paula- not too much longer..... hoping that all is going well...

brs888- i'm still sending you positive energy, and lots of baby dust... still thinking of you!!!

take care all the rest of the sept-embies

Pootle, the timing is very precise and fits exactly with when EC is planned. I am way too tired to remember but I think the shot has be to 35 or 36 hours beforehand.

Colleen, snap! I had hot flushes most of last night. We had the window closed due to some noise and I was WAY too hot for the rest of the night.

Lisa, good luck and PMA!!

Hi to everyone else.
hugs

I am so happy! Everyone seems to be doing so well :D Good luck with the retrievals...I believe Lisa's is today and Pootles is tomorrow...is that correct? I have a horrible memory :o You all seem to do such a great job...I on the otherhand have to write everyone's news down as I go so that I can remember :!: Anyone else crazy like me?

I am glad dh and I chose to go on vacation during this first week of the 2ww...this makes it much easier to relax. However, it allows me a lot of time to think about things. I know you all know exactly how I feel, but I have wanted kids my entire life, and can't imagine what my life would be without them. Not trying to be negative, but my dh and I have talked about what we will do in the unfortunate event that this doesn't work for us. Are we being horrible or do you gals and your dh have these discussions too?

Hi to everyone,

Couldn't get access to the site last night for some reason - anyone else have that problem?? I really wanted to wish Lisa good luck for the EC today. Was thinking of you and hope it all went really well and was not too scary.

Pootle - Hope all goes well for you tomorrow too. Fingers crossed for lots of follies for you.

Paula - thanks for all your encouragement. Hope time goes quickly for you and you can begin another cycle asap. :)

Crasmus - I agree about the multi tasking thing...! Good luck with starting your stims.

Debra - Sorry to hear about hot flushes. Hope you are doing well - you must start stims soon?

Brs888 - Sounds as though you are doing the best thing for your 2ww. Sending you loads of PMA and hoping that the rest of your time is ok. I completely know what you mean regarding talking through the future together. DH and I have discussed things like that too. I find it difficult to get the balance right between being positive and also trying to prepare for what may or may not happen. My new mantra is to take each day at a time which I find really helpful, as I have a tendency to worry about all sorts of things otherwise, (not helpful!). Keeping fingers crossed that you get the result you are dreaming of. :)

Hi to everyone else too. I am doing ok - have to go for a scan tomorrow to check how stims are working. Hope you are all having a good day........ keep drinking that water!

Take care

Lisamarie - WOW 41 EGGS!! Take care of yourself and be careful of ohss. But this is the most I have ever heard!! Congratulations - please let us know when you are not resting how fertilization goes (geez I would hate to see my bill for ICSI -they charge by time..) :D :D :D :D :D

Judy and brs888 - No you are not being negative about your discussions with DH. I think sometimes you need to have a discussion or 2 to be realistic. We have decided we will keep trying and trying but if we need a 3rd IVF we would start the adoption process..for a less fortunate child around 2 years old....we have lots of love in this family to share :D :D :D

I am so happy to read everyone is doing well 8) 8) 8) 8)

Lisa, you're the new board hen!! What a HUGE clutch of eggs :) Good luck with the fertilisation.

Pootle, how did you get on today?

Judy, it would drive me insane trying but failing to get on. Sometimes it freezes but I persevere!

Me? Feeling a bit low, I can't start stims tomorrow as planned. My LH level was too high at 2.7 (needed to be below 2 apparently) so will continue DR for another week,a new blood test on Friday and tmt will now be the first week of October. Having a hot flush right now....I'll be glad when this bit is over.

hugs

Hi everyone

Thank you for your support and kind words. I am having EC tomorrow (wed) So I will let you know how I get on - although it won't be anywhere near 41 thats for sure!!.

LisaMarie - 41 EGGS - ARE YOU PRODUCING THEM FOR ALL US SEPTEMBIES?  I do hope you take care as that is a huge amount - keeping you in my thoughts and let us all know how many are fertilised. Thank you for reassuring me about going under.

Crasmus - I will try and think of counting eggs and not sheep.. 1 egg, 2 egg, 3 egg... just practicing.. :)

brs888 - hope your 2ww is going ok and you are not loosing your mind thinking about it constantly. I too write down everyones news as I forget very easily (even after I have just read it) I am blaming it on the drugs... I seem to be blaming a lot of things on the drugs recently, funny that!

Good luck to everyone

HI LADIES,

I JUST WOKE UP AFTER A VERY LONG NAP. THANK YOU FOR YOUR KIND WORDS. I CANT BELIEVE IT MYSELF. I AM FEELING WELL THANK GOD. I HAVE TO BE VERY CAREFUL WITH MY WATER INTAKE AND EAT LOTS OF PROTEIN AS DOCTOR SAYS OHSS IS A POSSIBILITY WITH THE AMOUNT OF EGGS RETRIEVED.
CANT WAIT UNTIL TOMORROW TO SEE HOW MANY FERTILIZE. MY DOC SAYS 41 WILL NOT BE USED AS SOME WILL NOT BE MATURE. THEY SAID THAT IS LIKE A RECORD, GREAT THEY'LL PROBABLY PUT MY PICTURE ON THE WALL. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA :D .
WELL I HAVE TO GO AS SITTING UP IS QUITE UNCOMFORTABLE.

POOTLE,
MY PRAYERS ARE WITH YOU FOR TOMORROW. YOU WILL BE FINE. I WAS VERY SCARED BUT I'M HERE AND FINE.

BEST OF LUCK TO ANYONE ELSE I MISSED...
LOTS OF HUGS....

Hi everyone, hope you are all having a good day.

Am on day 6 of stims and things seem to be going OK. Still have no idea when EC will be, but scan went well today and there were definitely follies there. :) They have changed my drugs for tonight so that will be a test for DH...

Lisa - Well done on all those eggs! Fantastic! Take care of yourself and I hope you get really good news about fertilisation.

Debra - Was so sorry to hear that you have been delayed from starting stims. Hope the LH falls soon and you can get going.

Pootle - thinking of you today and hoping it went really well... :)

Sue - So pleased to hear that all is well with you. Great news about the visualisation. I am trying it too!!

Smita - Thanks for asking but I am fine. Struggling to drink all that water - feel like a whale!! Hope you are doing well too. Thanks for cheering us on.

Crasmus - hope it cools down for you...!

Brs888 - Keep resting!

Hi to everyone else too...Thinking of you all.

Thanks so much to everyone for all the support you have given. It has made such a difference to DH and me, just knowing there are people out there who do understand.

Take care
