Hey ladies!

Lola- DH and I were talking today about round 2. We were thinking possibly November. I'm the new "turtle". I just have some concerns with the "lovely" northeast winter weather. It's a lot of going back and forth and I would not feel very comfortable driving in inclement weather. Hopefully, November won't be bad.

Herbie- Welcome. You are in great company here. The ladies are wonderful!

Myhb- Forgive me, but where are you in the cycle? I think you should be stimming soon, right?

Shapooh- It must be tough for you with a new baby in the family. How did you do today?

Champa and Hopeful- How are you making out in the 2ww? Hang in there. At this point, you should be seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.

Sam--Keep us posted with the results from your office visit.

When I got the BFN phone call last week, everything except for, "I've got your test results and I'm afraid it's bad news. It's negative" was a blur. I don't know if she said I should call to make my follow up appt or they would call me to set it up. Does anyone know how this works?

I hope you all enjoyed your holiday--Summer's over! :(

Hi Ladies, big hug to all. Especially to the recently BFNs. Sorry I haven't been able to send my love earlier as we had been away. Alas, we got rained out so decided to come home early.

I've moved forward my 6 weeks scan to tomorrow (6th Sept). I actually popped round the clinic and sat the nurse down and made her calculate how far gone pregnant I am. This is because they had originally miscalculated , making it 4 weeks instead of 6 this week and they just wouldn't listen to me over the phone. So face to face sorted it. I am finding the clinic a little less responsive since the procedure was completed. Anyhow I'll let you know how I got on. I hope everything will be alright.

Sam, good luck with your scan too. Is it Wed or Thurs? I am thinking of you and keeping fingers crossed.

Champa and Hopeful - sending you lots of love and baby dust. Can't wait to hear your news. I was so restless the last few days of 2WW I bought tickets to visit Buckingham Palace while its open over summer. My DH couldn't believe it and protested we're not tourists and I duly told him I didn't care and I had needed to take my mind off things. :-)

Lots of love
Rittie

Wannababy and Alicia - My heart is with you both. Try to stay strong and positive. Sorry for the late post, but it's no less heartfelt (just couldn't get on the board for a few days.) Hang in there, things will look better as time goes on and you'll be ready to move forward again.

wannababy1229- Thanks for reminding me. I’ll keep track of how I am feeling in a calendar for future analysis.

Myhb – Yes I am getting crazy. I try not to show but it shows on my face ;)

Lola , Shapooh and Rittie2000– – Thanks for all ur prayers and baby dust. Need them desperately…

Mia- Yes I am very anxious and I am not able to sleep properly. I am also trying to not to think about the test but the closer the I am getting to the beta, it is becoming more and more difficult for me to handle myself.

I’ve started getting my back pain on 3rd sept, the same ones that I get few days before my periods. This is definitely worsening my situation. My hubby says people get the pain and still become pg but its becoming difficult for me to keep my thoughts under control.

I wanted to ask if you have heard people starting their periods before the Beta day?

Also, I know it’s a very difficult question to answer but I wanted to know that in cases of BFN how many days after beta did the periods begin?

Measwhile, I’ve been checking my fever and I’ve approx 99-99.8 fever almost all day. Not sure if it makes any difference.

I am not planning to take HPT. I am already so scared and I don't think will be able to face its result.

Countdown has begun.. 2 more days to go!!!

Champa - Sorry your going crazy, but hang in there. Your big day is coming soon. I can't speak for others, but my AF arrived 3 days after my beta test. I'm very regular and it was about 2 days late. My RE said that can happen because of the medication. Hope that helps.

Think happy thoughts!!! Image

Hang in there Champa! Test day is almost here. I keep telling myself I need to stay calm for the baby's sake, but the hormones are no help, LOL. I wouldn't worry about back pains, I understand they are quite common during PG too. I understand that many PG syptoms feel like pre-AF symptoms. I too feel pre-AF symptoms, but I've got to stay positive until the RE says oherwise. I really think most of what we feel right now is the hormones we are taking. The PG sypmtoms will really show up in a couple of weeks. Hand in there! I'm praying hard for a BFP for you! :D

Glad to hear from you all! Hope you're having a great day! :D

Mia- I feel better knowing the pre-PG symptoms are similar to pre-AF ones. Thanks dear. Yes I agree, I think the hormornes are making us more weak emotionally. I am taking 3 doses of progestrone every day.. What about u?

Alicia- Thanks for the information and support.. Discussing with all of u is making me feel better and much lighter.

Love,

Thanks for keeping the update Lola and I love the creative icons!

Champa/Mia - I'm keeping my fingers crossed for the two of you! Try to relax - the 2ww is almost over.

Lola/Alicia - Let's hope and pray for BFPs for all 3 of us in this next cycle! I'm probably starting the BCPs with next AF(is that officially the start of 'down-regging???), which should be in about 2-3 weeks. Is that about when you will start again? We meet with RE tomorrow to review BFN and determine what changes will be made to improve our chances in cycle #3.

We actually had a strange encounter with the RE late last week. I had called to get a copy of our medical records to review prior to our appointment tomorrow. RE called me thinking we were leaving the practice and/or getting a second opinion. He said he took my BFN in this second cycle very personally and even said he'd look at a discount for this 3rd cycle because he really wanted to see us through to success and didn't want us to leave and go elsewhere. We weren't really looking to leave (although there have been a few things I've been a bit irritated with). DH and I are a bit mystified with this response but are trying to think positively and hope he's being sincere. We'll see what happens tomorrow.

Sam/Rittie - Give us some news on the scan tomorrow - I hope you both have some strong little ones (or more?) in there and hopefully you might even get to see a heart beat! Good luck!

Suzhan- That is strange. Are you guys going to stay at that facility? Thank you for your kind sentiments

Lola- thanks for updating our chart.

Champa and Hopeful- Your 2ww is almost over! How are you 2 feeling emotionally? physically?

Champa-I took my last progesterone shot on a Thursday, beta Friday, spotted Sunday and Monday and AF full showed up heavily on Tuesday (today) :?

Sam- Good luck tomorrow. Looking forward to your outcome. No embies frozen. After corresponding with Ghost, I gathered that my next fresh cycle will be BFN. I'm doing it with the intent to get some frozen embryos, hopefully.

Rittie- Looking forward to your outcome, too!

Shapooh- How are you doing?

Nothing new with me. Just wanted to check in and say hi!

Lola - Glad to see that your spirits are up. When do you expect your AF? Hopefully she'll be arriving soon.

Herbie - Welcome! I truly hope this cycle goes much better for you. Are you also on Lupron along with the Gonal-f?

Alicia - Glad to hear you are feeling better. Hang in there and here's to your next successful cycle.

Wannababy - Don't let the lovely northeast weather stop you from starting your next cycle. Hopefully, most of your driving back and forth will be dine before the bad weather starts.

Rittie - Good luck with your scan tomorrow. I am sorry to hear you aren't happy with your clinic.

Sam - Good luck with your scan as well.

Champa - You are almost there. Don't let the craziness win :) .

Mia - Hang in there as well. Keep reminding yourself to stay calm, you can do it.

Suzhan - Good luck with the RE tomorrow. I hope that the third time is the charm. That was a strange encounter but maybe the RE will keep more focus on you this time.

Ladies - Today I had my baseline ultrasound and bloodwork and this evening I started my stims. I am on Gonal-f. Sorry I wasn't able to post earlier but we are pretty restricted internet wise at work. The first stim shot went well.

Enjoy the rest of your evening.

Thanks for the warm welcome, I had a crazy day, I went to my u/s this morning. I have 7 big follies and it looked like several little ones, I have to go back in tomorrow and the RE is going to rescan me. I don't think the nurse that scanned me did such a hot job. I kept feeling like she wasn't getting it all, but I am not a sonographer so I'll shut up, but my E2 level was 891 which I was told is a little on the high side. It's only day 5 stims, so I don't know. I'll know more tomorrow. If anyone knows anything about E2 levels is that too high for Day 5 sitms?

Let's get some Baby Dust floating around here! Thanks for letting me join in. I need to catch up on you guys now.
