Hi everyone. How are we all today? Are we all drinking lots of water? Image
Emma - enjoy your weekend! Don't forget your jabs! Image I always tip the bottle upside down when pushing in the air and drawing out the liquid. Are you driving to the festival? If yes I would keep your meds in the car just incase someone goes into your tent.

Jackie - how are you? I'm keeping very +. I can't stop eating! I'm not sure if it's because I'm off work or if it's to do with the down-regs. It's probably just me. My weight goes up and down like a yo-yo!Image

Souris - hope you're doing well. Have you found out when you're down-regging?

Kvgsmom - is your nasal spray a down-reg?

Jemima - good luck with your baseline. Hoefully you're ready to start stimming.

I'm looking forward to my baseline next week. I've had to take the down-regs for an extra week so hopefully everything will be ok to start stimming. My tummy feels strange just now. can't remember if that was the same last time. Probably excitement!

Enjoy your day everyone or night depending where you are! I'm going in to spec up my new car on Sat!!!!!!!!!!! Mini Cooper s. Doesn't come out till next year. Image Image Sorry got a bit carried away with my smilies today! Baby dust to you all Paula x Image

Hi Mortisha
Yes, I've thought about that and will be keeping my meds in the car - they probably wouldn't let them onto the campsite anyway, they could be classed as a lethal weapon!!!

Hiya ladies,

I've got 2 x 6 cell embryos all snuggled in now. I have 2 good ones frozen too. I photographed them all too just incase I do get pregnant and I can put the pickies in the baby book along with scan photos etc.

I'm in bed doing absolutely nothing (godbless laptops) for 3 days. I got up really early this morning and finished my housework and ironing so that I would feel very comfortable lazing about.

Hope every one else is doing well. You will need to keep me amused for 3 days to stop me shopping on the internet out of boredom.

Fab Macca! Well done you! Now rest and take it easy for the next few days. I will be keeping everything crossed for your BFP - I notice your ticker says 18 days til test...why so long?

Jemma
I am so glad you posted.. I was begining to worry about you... So you are on your way and did you end up going to see Justin  I am glad your  AF showed and I am very impressed right on time. So is your cousin staying with you? It would be nice for you to have the company.. Keep up the PMA I am praying for you and I have a good feeling about you this month :D For me no Af but since she never showed they will give me a med to bring her on so it seems like we will start the IVF around the week of the 9th.

Mia (hopeful)
Its getting close (next Wednesday) you may not end up with any bloating.. but the sleepy thing I had that too.. Do your best just to listen to your body and sleep and rest and take care of you...

Ems
I did not have to mix my meds but I always had to have DH get the air bubbles out.. I am a worry wart too so I know its hard but try relax and enjoy your festival weekend.

AMD
Hi lady glad that you are back.. So you will be doing lupron with your FET right? When do you get to start that part of your FET.. :D

Paula
I am sure next weeks baseline will go great. I wonder why sometimes the down regging takes longer.. I bet you are right the tummy strange this is probably very much excitement.. So are you going on a list for your new car? I think they are one of the cutest cars I have seen...

Macca
Congratulations you are preggers right now.....Your little twins will be on the way to you very soon.. I am glad you got a photo because that will be a nice start to your baby book...I was the same as you with being bored at home.. So you will be off your feet for a minimum of 3 days right? So what can we find for you too do (so you dont do shopping) Aunty is always creative so I bet she can come up with some good ideas.. What about finding out how much it would be for you and two little ones to fly to michigan to see me in about a year :D :D :D

Aunty
Whatcha doing? Are you all moved in and unpacked? I miss ya honey....Hope you are good :D

Love and hugs to all

Girls,

I have all the Sex and the City dvd's too. I love it to bits. My plan is when I am 40 to be shopping in NYC wearing manolo blanhiks (mispelled I'm sure) and wearing some seriously silly but fashionable dress & drinking cocktails at some trendy bar. I would love to be Carrie Bradshaw..my husband is certainly my "Mr Big" excuse the pun.

I started watching my Cold Feet series again today (only the British will recognise this, it's a bit of an english version of Friends) It's brilliant and does make me laugh. Might even watch Desperate Housewives again...too much television..square eyes..

Emma,
How's your shots going honey? I know 18 days is ages away. My clinic likes to ensure you are definitely not pregnant before they take you off pessaries and definitely pregnant to ensure that the HCG injection is out of your system (if you do the injection). I will probably test about 5 days before that anyway.

Aren't all you ladies dead trusting with your partners and needles. There is no way I would let mine inject me. He passed out when he gives blood, god knows what would happen if he had to inject me. Mind you I can be a bit of a control freak and like to do everything myself to ensure it's done right. I would probably make him nervous anyway. Poor guy.

Hey Lisa, i love cold feet my hubby got to see some of it when he came over there never heard him laugh so much... one of them was the one with the rose in his bum...for the American lady's Ross’s English wife Emily was in cold feet too.

As for trusting my hubby I have to say I verbally assist him with every step of my shots, he very much appreciates my input it makes for such a happy time …. Image

hey Jackie im all unpacked i decided to take all the sticky tape that was holding the cables to the wall and actually tack them in place so it looks all proper now (this time i didnt punch through the wire either)
:D

hope everyones well...read you soon

love and hugs Debz

Hi Everyone, How are you all doing.

Lisa - I hope that you are taking it easy and not getting too bored. I have ordered a few good books off amazon to read while I am on bed rest. Also DH is going to be off work at the same time so we will get some good films to watch.

Well i have got 6 more days now until the baseline scan and I really hope that I will be ready to start the stims and down regulating seems to have taken forever. I guess taking stims is when it kind of gets interesting with all of the scans etc. At the moment I just feel completely worn out, which I guess is a side effect of the drugs. I will just be glad when this is all over.

Well I have made a decision regarding the shoping for clothes. None of mine are fitting already and with the bloating expected with the stims I am going to head off to the supermarket tonight to look for a couple of bigger skirts or trousers to wear until hopefully the IVF works and I start to get alot fatter, maybe some with streachy waistbands should be good. I only want a couple of cheap ones though as I don't expect to be wearing them for long.

Well I suppose I had better stop rabbiting and get ready for work.

Take care everyone
Angela

Ems, We turn the ampule upside down. When we get to that last bit we pull the needle tip as far to the cap as we can get without pulling it out. There's almost always a little air in the sarringe, you just need to turn it needle upwards and tap the sarringe (like they do on TV) until the bubbles move out the top. Carefully push the plunger up until air is out, But be careful to not lose any of the med. so go slow. You may know this, but be careful about leaving the meds in the car. Our nurse said that heat will kill your meds  . So you should bring along a cooler too. But don't bury your meds in ice because you need to inject when the meds are room temp. I don't know if you are taking follistim too, but especially that one will spoil. Have fun :)

Hi Everyone! Wow...I am learning so much! I did not realize that you have to mix the menopur. I am freaking out! That sounds so difficult. I am also taking folistim. Anyone take this as well? What an ordeal. I am only on the Lupron but I am really feeling anxiety (and paranoia). I get like that when I am hormonal.

Also...I am only on birth control and lupron, but sometimes I feel full in my uterus...almost like I am about to start Af. Is that normal? And...not to give tmi...but I have CM that looks like ovulatory cm. Is this normal as well? Ug...so odd.

I am off tonight to eat lots of sushi and drink some sake since hopefully I will not be able to do these things for nine months!

Morning Ladies!

Just wanted to say well done to Macca...make sure your DH really pampers you over the next 3 days.
To be perfectly honest I am actually looking forward to my enforced rest. I haven't had a holiday since Christmas. Have booked 2 weeks annual leave from work and plan to stock up on DVD's and books to read!! Mind you internet shopping does sound like a good thing..will probably spend too much time on "Trade Me" (NZ version of ebay) :P

Hello ladies

I think I am joining you if I may.
I am due to start down regging on buseralin on 31 Aug. This is my day 21. I do have a question though. Are you supposed to have ovulated before you start. I guess for most woman, day 21 would guarantee that have happened, but with me, there's no guarantee? Should I be asking the clinic to check first?

Thanks
