Just a little vent! I'm so sick of spotting between AF's! I just had one about a week ago, and now I'm spotting some light pink/slight reddish. Is this due to PCOS? I used to not do that but the last couple years it happens pretty often. It's just annoying! Also would that mess up IVF at all? As far as the medications are concerned. When I do spot is isn't usually so soon after AF though!

Bonnie - CONGRATS on your BFP!!!
That is awesome news! Is there anything they can do to minimize your sensitivity? Did they change up your meds at all? When do you go back for your next beta?

Bonnie- Congrats on the beta- woo hoo!!!! But yucko on them having to drain your stomach....that grosses me out! So, what did they do, just stick a big ole honkin needle in your stomach with no numbing, nothing? That is making me want to throw up! But then again, the thought of them sticking a needle in my stomach makes me want to throw up.....So, when is your next beta? And what can you change to make you not so sensitive to the pregnancy?

Thanks for the shared excitement!! im hoping that 94.5 is a good number??? i felt it was considering it was a day early!

So to answer the questions about the fluid,.. they had to stick a big needle in my ovaries and pulled out the 750 ml of fluid and i felt so much better instantly!! this am i couldn't even breathe and i was in so much pain!!! the MD said that i will prob have to have it done again before we get to 8 weeks but that it isn't a risk for the pregnancy thank goodness!! my MD was happy that my body was willing to make that much progrestrone on its own!!

Now here is to keeping my fingers crossed for a continued rise in beta numbers!!

AFM, today is 6dpo and the trigger is out. HPT was stark white today. Now the wait begins. i am so scared. i need to keep busy this week and keep my mind off this until next tuesday which is when my beta is. I'll probably POAS from time to time, but i am so scared of getting a negative. urghhh. we transferred 3 perfect embryos. i am scared my E2 was too high and they are not going to take. well, if that's the case and i get a BFN this cycle - this will be the last fresh transfer of my life!!!! no one is going to convince me to do a fresh trasnfer if this one doesnt work. because the embryos were perfect - so if it doesnt work it has to be the uterus. anyway - i am starting to freak out. its just so hard. knowing how many ways it can go wrong. i hope i dont get another ectopic, for instance! or another chemical! frankly if it doesnt work - i hope it's just a BFN - because then it is plain and simple and I can move on to my FET (4 frozen embies).

Congrats Bonnie! Ouch on the draining, but glad you feel better. Was it OHSS?

AFM - much cheerier today, even though it's day 1 of AF. Started estrogen patches and baby aspirin today - makes it seem that much closer to actual FET day.

Leorira: im an identical twin and although my sister went blonde and im on the brunette/auburn side of hair colour, we are still very identical and have very similar mannerisms and voice tonesim sorry the boys died close to your birthday, its one of the things I find so hard with my mum's death and my miscarriage was confirmed 2 days before my 40th birthday in oct this year too with the d&c a day after.one of my best friends told me I need to be out of the country next year for the first week in oct!! I agree!!

Maria: your tree is gorgeous

Julia: I found with my hsg that i was just uncomfortable on te day I had it, so just get some pain meds and you should be fine. I have Accupuncture tomorrow

AFM- Ovulation question. I'm sure I'm jumping the gun, always do. I finished AF about a week ago. Today I got light pink/slight reddish tint when I would wipe and some in the toilet but not much there **SORRY TMI**. I'm also experiencing slight cramping in my lower pelvic area about middle. I've had this spotting and cramps before like this but never so close to AF. Right when AF ended I took a OPK and took one tonight and both negative. They say those with irregular and long cycles like me, you can Ovulate during AF or right after. So I took them. I did this a couple of AF's ago too and were negative although a couple of them were close. I know with PCOS you can get false readings.

So what are my changes that I've Ovulated or about to? Even with my history of O'ing once just over 12 years ago! With the possible symptoms that I having, would it indicate I have already, or in the process...? Or am I crazy? LOL Also, would it be too late to BD? With us being so busy last week and his broken wrist, we've skipped a bit last week and we are usually every other day.

Gina-I also have PCOS. I've had it for a's long as I can remember. I even recall having to see a GYN when I was 16 because I had not gotten my first AF yet. Can you imagine that conversation with the GYN and my mother? I don't even want to remember. It's amazing, with my son it was so easy. It's hard to even think of those days now with my DS father no longer being with us. I am still having such a difficult time with all of this that everything else, including trying to get pregnant with this cycle is really not on my mind. To answer your question, the ovulation kits have never worked with me. I don't think I've ever had good results with them. With that said, I think that we all get so caught up with this whole IVF and getting pregnant thing that the magic of just BD with your partner sometimes is lost in all of this. I say, BD just because. Because you love each other and because, heck, it's great!!! DH and I try to make alot of time for each other which means alot of BD. It's funny, DH was throwing out some funny sex facts from a funny app he has on his cell phone. He is such a kidder, I love him for that. And he says that the average person has sex an average of 120 times per year. He is convinced that we average 365 times per year. I think he is right on that one Point is, try not to focus so much on when your ovulating or not, do it just because. About the spotting, before we did IVF I would have AF once per year if I was lucky. Since we started IVF, I've been pretty regular and I've spotted on and off throughout any given cycle. My RE always tells me that I should not worry about the spotting except for when I'm on the Estrogen patches. He says that I definantely should not have any spotting or bleeding once I am on the estrogen patches. And this has held true. Once I start the estrogen patches and AF goes away, I have never had any spotting after that point. I hope this helped. Sending you xoxo.
