C&C12806 - the ET is painless. i was still sore from the ER when I went and I felt nothing, not even the cath.

medstudentmom - i had a similar experience to the stims. maybe some minor bloating but really nothing. i was worried about the trigger shot, but i really didn't feel anything from that eithor. The next day my ovary felt "fuller" or kinda like swollen but thats all. and I had 19 eggs! so if you haven't had any of the side effects yet you probably won't feel much different from the trigger.

hope that helps...

hi ladies! I had ER this morning... but they were running behind and kept me waiting about 2 hrs so i was quite anxious and they actually had to give me a Zanax! But it went well and I was out of the O.R. in less than 20min. They retrieved 10 eggs and will call tomorrow to see how many fertilized. Last time I got 11 eggs, 8 fertilized. We're planning a day 3 transfer and freeze the rest if they're growing slow like last time. But the doctor says if a lot fertilize and are growing strong then we'll transfer on day 5 which is Sunday.
MedStudentMom- good luck with ER tomorrow. You're going to do great and I can't wait to hear how many eggs you get! Sorry I haven't been responding ASAP but the forum hasn't been automatically emailing me like usual. I'll try to keep checking on here often.

Hey guys!!! Well im back from my ER! It went really well, a lot better than I expected! I actually feel a whole lot better than I did before the ER. My ovaries were beginning to hurt because of the pressure but now I hardly feel anything! I am still going to take it easy for the day though.

They took out 26 eggs!!! yay! Hopefully a bunch of them fertilize. Will get the report later on tonight. So now i guess I just wait!!!

Eve, congrats on the trigger. good luck with the transfer. It really was not bad at all. I was out for the entire procedure, didnt feel a thing, and had some pretty cool dreams too! Woke up pretty refreshed.

not hopeless yet. Hope lots of your eggies fertilized!!! Good luck. Keep us posted.

How is everyone else doing???

How is evryone doing?

MedStudentMom2B- Wow 26 eggs!! That's awesome!!

Eve2860- Good luck with ER tomorrow!!!

AFM- had the ET yesterday. Unfortunatly we only had one embryo left to transfer. We had to do PGD so that rulled out 3 out of the 6 and then the other 2 weren't growing very well. We are trying to stay positive about our one. They said it was a level 1-2 blast. Not sure what that means, but hopefully it's our lil miracle!! I really wish we would have had 2. Has anyone had success with one embie?

Wow I have egg-envy - 26 eggs! Congrats MSM2B. Keep us posted on their growth and how many you're transferring.

We retrieved 10 and I found out yesterday only half fertilized. We're going in tomorrow to transfer 1, so I'm like you C&C, I pray this one is our miracle.

Good luck to us all!

Hey Not hopeless yet,

I pray that it only takes that one for you to get your BFP. Just curious, but you mentioned that 5 fertilized. Will you be freezing the other 4? Is there a reason why you are not trasnferring 2? Also, are you doing a 5d or 3d trasnsfer?

AFM, the lady from the clinic called me today. Here are my numbers: originally I had 26 eggs that were retrieved, of these 22 were good (I guess the others were damaged?). 18 of these got fertilized. We are waiting to see if we are doing a 5d or 3d transfer (either saturday or Monday). We are most likely going to transfer 2, maybe 1 if the doc says he is optimistic. Prob will freeze the rest.

C&C12806: I hope that one will in fact be your little miracle. I'll be thinking of you.

Good luck everyone!!

et yesturday

Post by Eve2860 »

As for me we transfered 2 eight cell embryos yesturday. The third embrios we had just did not make it. . Dr said that the two embryios were very big and had no fragments in their dna. Now I pray that the two or one we transfered will decide to stay with me untill feb. Hope they make themselves all cozzy.

I cried when the dr put in the two embryos . I was excited and very happy. DH went pale when he saw the long tube that they use for transfering and of course he was very excited.

Dr. told me to take it easy yesturday until tuesday. I can move around house. Tuesday I can go back to work.
I have my beta testing and pregnancy test on June 4th
Everyone have a wonderfull day.

hi ladies-
sorry it took me a while to respond. I'm not getting those automatic emails from this site anymore UGH! And I'm not as addicted as I was on these boards for the first 3 years :) But I couldn't get thru this without your support. So thanks!
Let me reiterate, I had 10 eggs, only 5 fertilized, we got called to come in for a 3dt and by then only 1 8-cell embryo looked good enough to transfer (which we were only planning on transferring one, but to be honest I was hoping we could freeze the rest.)
My beta is 6/2... just 1 week to go.
Eve - fingers are crossed for your two 8-cell embies. I, too, got teary eyed watching the monitor as they did the ET.
MSM2B- when is ET?
Updates on anyone else?

well ladies it's a BFN for me. Got full AF on Saturday and couldn't keep it together even in public... Clinic will have me come in for bloodwork as scheduled, like last cycle, just to make sure. I said this would be our 2nd and final IVF but now that it failed i'm not ready to give up. So maybe I'll see some of you on these boards in the future. I wish all of you the best of luck!
