Hi ladies , thanks for welcoming me , i feel littele better today but stil deprres i dont know why , i think its all medicine i m taking , I m on estrace right now , and its 3 times a day and lupron once a day i think 10 unit i dont know properly becoz my hubby makes verythings ready for me . and Taking luprone is prety hard for me . it still scares the hell out of me . while i m taking those injection.but beleve me all these support help me a lot thanks for that.

BEI- I'm on 10 units of lupron and 2mg 3x a day of estrace too. my FET is on Sept 11. I started Estrace on Monday, does that help?

Hi all!

My ER was this morning and they retrieved 11 follies. Yeah! I prayed for 10 and the Lord threw in a bonus!

It wasn't as painful as times past, so I'm grateful.

First eggie status is tomorrow and hoping all have fertilized well. ET will be on Monday.

How is everyone else doing? Good luck on your trigger tonight Fitz!

Cheryl - YAY! 11 eggies! I hope all fertilize well! I'll be keeping your little ones in my thoughts! Soon you'll be PUPO!!!!

bei - I am on 10 units of lupron, vivelle patches, baby asprin, and will soon be starting the progesterone in oil. I go in for a lining check on the 1st. Depending on how my lining looks there is one other med (i think it's estrace but not positive) that I will start if my lining isn't where they want it to be. hope that helps! Sorry that you are feeling down. this process can be very overwhelming, scary, emotional, everything rolled into one. Plus, the meds and all the hormones dont' make it any easier!

hey ladies. Welcome BEI and anyone else i missed. so i'm praying that we are doing well and respond quickly with injections, waiting for AF, fertilization reports, follie growth, ER/ET, and the 2ww. no matter what happens we can't let ourselves get down! everyone has heard or read about miracles, so anything can happen. the dr's take us part of the way, and God (or mother nature, whatever you're comfortable with) takes over. we all deserve to have beautiful healthy babies- THIS CYCLE!!!!!!! Stay positive and hope for the best.

i am back from my ET and it was a breeze. just like a papsmear someone said, and they were right. we got pics, just like dtao! so i'm praying that the 2 embies stick.

OK, i have to tell you guys a quick story. i promise i'm not insane, but when things are out of my control (like IVF), i try to look for signs from God to encourage me. my cousin is 30 with 5 girls. she has been having babies since we were 17, her youngest is 18 mths and oldest 13. did i mentioned the many abortions in between children? not judging, just giving evidence of her extreme fertility. when asked by my family why i don't have kids yet, i always used to say that she was having all the kids and there wouldn't be anymore kids alotted to our family. SHE HAD HER TUBES TIED YESTERDAY!!! i was so excited. i felt like maybe she was making way for me to get pregnant. then a few hours later, i was walking my dog. while she was pooping, i looked down at my feet and there was a pacifier right next to my foot! how coincidental is that! i know it's so silly, but who knows, maybe God was trying to tell me something! LOLOL. ok, i'll stop embarrassing myself now.

Last time we had 9 and 7 of those fertilized . . .

mjay i love your signs!! i totally believe they are signs for you!! one thing i learned for this whole struggle to get pregnant is that i now believe that everything happens for a reason and at the right time for us. after almost 2 years of trying to get pregnant, and doctors not finding anything wrong with myself or dh i finally had a lap done. I will never forget waking up to my doctor saying i had stage 4 endometriosis. I didnt even know what endo was and never had any signs of it. hearing this i was at the lowest of low's i was scared and felt so alone. it took me a long time to try to be positive again, but once i found my RE and she gave me hope again i started to realize that i was glad i got the lap done. even though it wasnt the results i hoped for, at least now there was a reason and a name for why we couldnt get pregnant. but now i have hope again with this ivf cycle. it is amazing how far science has come for us all to even have the chance to try IVF ya know?? its crazy to think about. i once asked my RE trying to hold back my tears if she knew anyone as messed up as me that were able to get pregnant, and she looked me right in the eye and said "yes, many! we are going to get you pregnant dont you worry!" i truly believe that things will happen at the right time, and for the right reason, and this is all just making me stronger, and i will be a better mom because of this. everyone has stuff going on in their lives ya know? nobody is perfect no matter how it looks from the outside. we are all just trying to reach for that happiness, and i believe that it is our time now!!!
ok i'm stepping off my soap box. i dont even know if i had a point to all that rambling, but it it helped keep my mind off of my raging hormones for a while haha

Hi Ladies

Deftonsmom - what dosage do they have you on for follistim and menapur? I'm on 150 follistim and 75 menopur in the am and pm with 20 units of diluted lupron in the am and pm. I'm asking because my clinic says that's the highest dosage. The doc said they don't really see any improved results with higher dosages.

katie99 - I'm nervouse because last time I had 3 on the left and 4 on the right. The ones on the left never developed but I never got more follies as I continued to stim. I am happy about my E2. Hopefully it will continue to do so. Thanks for the PMA, I need it. Thanks for your words of encouragement though.

shelbyrn0214 - It it possible to get more follies as you continue to stim? I will most definetly post as soon as I find out what's going on. I hope tomorrow is not another upsetting day. At least I'll be working from home so if I need to cry I can do so all day if I need to.

Lady_J -I've been stimming for 5 days now. He says I'm on the highest dosage so I don't think there's much that can be done at this point. Do you think a little extra follistim would hurt? lol Thanks for the GL. I kind of feel like I need it.

turtle0619 - I also have endo. I don't know what stage I have, but I know they call it severe. I also have a low egg reserve. I think that's the reason why I don't produce many eggs. I wonder if I keep at this long enough if I can deplete my reserve?!

AFM, I'm just waiting til tomorrow. I'm not seeing the nurse tomorrow. I'm just going to wait to call and listen to the message. I'm starting to really dislike those nurses. For some reason my doctor makes me feel so much better then when I speak with those chickies.

I was on 450 of follistim and 150 of menopur and it made a difference . . . I was originally at 300 of follistim and 150 of menopur and they bumped my up right away . . .
I'm a poor responder, so the fact that I got 11 eggs was great =)
Hope they're good quality =)
I was also on a growth hormone called Omnitrope . . .
maybe ask Ghost why your clinic thinks the way they do?

deftonesmo - Thanks for the quick response! Ok so now I'm frustrated and feel encourged all at once. So would be it horrible if I self medicated?! Man, I'm so temped. I want to call the doctor right now!!! I'll wait til tomorrow. But I'm going to leave him a message to call me when I go into the clinic. I don't want to talk to any of those chicks!

I'm not on Lupron . . . would that make a difference?
And I took my shots once at night . . .
I wouldn't self-medicate, but maybe it's worth a freindly question as to why they won't go up to 450? are they afraid your blood levels might spike?
I didn't have any side effects . . . e2 levels are all in range . . .
It's probably just a preference thing . . .
I LOVE my RE and my nurses . . . they always return my phone calls and we end each visit with a hug . . .

Johannanita if you keep with this long enough you will have a BFP long before your egg reserve is used i promise!
stage 4 is considered the most serve form of endo. mine is all around my tubes binding them to my bladder and bowels, and around my left overy. my doctor says that is why its so hard to get pregnant because the endo is holding the tubes down so they cant reach around and grab the egg every month so it doesnt even have a chance to make it to the sperm in the first place. doing IVF will bypass the tubes and hopefully i'll finally get my BFP!!

i'm so glad i found these boards. i know ive said it before, but the further along i get in this madness i am so thankful i have the support here and it also keeps my mind off things even though i'm talking about it! weird i know....

Bei – I thought the shots were intimidating @ first too, but you get used to having to have them. It doesn’t really hurt any less, but it gets easier.

Cheryl – That’s great! I’m so happy it went well for you! Let us know how the fert rate turns out. Hoping for 11 fertilized embies!!! You and Deftonesmo are really cycle twins!

Mjay – Keep up the PMA! I love your story because that sounds so like me! I totally agree with the ‘signs’. It keeps me going! You are PUPO!!!

Deftonesmo – 11 eggs. That’s fantabulous! Guess they will let you know tomorrow if you will be having a 3 or 5 day transfer? Keep us informed about the fert rate. Hoping for 11 for you too! I have the same experience with my clinic. They are the best! As a matter of fact, the nurse called me today just to check and see how I was doing.

Turtle – You go girl! The right time and right reason is so true! I’m so glad we are all cycling together!

Johannanita – Each time I went in for an u/s they always seemed to find at least one more that had popped up. You still have time so there’s no telling how many more they will find tomorrow. I did Follistim 150 last time and I will be doing Follistim 225 this time, but I’m not taking Menopur. I’m sorry you are having a bad time with the nurses there. Sounds like they need a class in bedside manner.
