Rio- good luck tomorrow!! and friday! why wont they tell you results tomorrow? I never heard of any doctor doing that before I'm curious.

PMApsy- awww I'm sorry for your -hpt. Dont loose hope, there has been so many women with -hpts and +beta. I also had pink spotting with my dd i actually got + on my hpt 2 days later after that so i guess it was implantation bleeding so if i was you i would wait at least 2 days to do hpt again

kitty- welcome to the board. You definetely are in a right place. The women here are all amazing! One advice i would give you is to relax, I know its hard my 1st ivf was a bfn but i was sooo stressed out through the whole process the second time around i was relaxed and took it day by day and now i have a beautiful dd. I wish you all the best!

kizmet- i had the same experience with ER the first time around it didnt hurt at all but the second one OMG not only was i bleeding bad i had horrible cramps for like 3 days, its all worth it though! I wish you lots of baby dust and a good fert!

AFM tomorrow is my last BCP yayyy!!! I've been doing lupron shots and they are not that bad except for the headaches! but oh well. Does anyone know how long it takes to get AF once i finish BCP and while on lupron? I guess when i get my AF it wont be long until transfer. i dont remeber how long it took me last time to get AF. ok g2g baby dust to all!!!!

Morning ladies,

PMApsy - hugs hon. I'm sure there's still at least one there!

Hope everyone else is well.

I had a horrible night. Slept very little because of the pain despite constantly taking oxycodone and paracetamol. The pain is up much higher than my ovaries, more like my stomach. I can only assume I've bled heavily internally because the surgeon said that the pain might move up my abdomen. I've had no bleeding at all coming from anywhere else. I'm feeling really naseaus and dizzy this morning. I spoke to the clinic yesterday afternoon and I felt they weren't too concerned and they suggested that I ring the surgeon if things hadn't settled by 4pm yesterday so I'd catch him before he left work, but unfortunately I fell asleep and missed him. I was almost ready to go into emergency last night it hurt so badly.

take care all

HELLO LADIES,

Thank you for your kind comments i love this site already its great. well today i got all emotional. stressed and i dont even know why my DP was very comforting and even though it was him i was stressing at he still come and gave me a cuddle. Im slowly getting used to the discomfort lol will it ever go away?? I am also passing wind alot is that normall? My breasts are quite sensitive and ive gone off sex totally to my DP upset just told him to sort himself out in that area lol!!!!!! The answer to some peoples question is that i do a preg test on Thurs 27th May does anyone have there preg test on that day also or near to it??. I hope i dont start bleeding half way through the long 2ww if i do i think i will panic as thats what happened when i was on IUI and it was a BFN!!!!! I have rested but not really been bed ridden should i be because i was told to take it easy but carry on with my day to day things but if i need to sit down then do so and know my limits?? My head is full of so many mixed emotions that i dont know were im coming and going. I have been off work since i had the EC and ET but am back to work this fri 21st May which i have to get 2xbusses as i dont drive so that will be fun!!!!!! :(

I am a newbe to this site as you know and im still not sure of the short words. I did look on the blogs explaining some but what some of you girls use are not on there the ones i dont know so far is POAS, PUPO and BETA lol sorry can someone help me??

Hope to speak to you all again good luck and lots of baby dust to all. xxxxxxxxxx :P :D

PMA - did you POAS again or are you staying away from those things? Hope DS is feeling better and that you are back on the PMA!

Lisa - POAS is pee on a stick! PUPO is pregnant until proven otherwise, beta is the Hcg pregnancy test :)

kiz - hope you feel better sorry you are in so much pain

dys24 - my RE tests tomorrow and doesn't tell you because he wants to see if the numbers increase the next time then he will tell you, I guess he wants to avoid saying congrats you are pregnant just to maybe 2 days later say... hummm your numbers stopped increasing or decreased. So I guess it makes some sense that he waits for the second beta. last BCP yeay!!! Come on AF!!!

AFM - super tired and sleepy and hoping that is a very good sign! Anxious about tomorrow but I won't find out results anyway so just wait until Friday! But need your baby dust and prayers!!!

kizmet - I am so sorry that you are in so much pain. I hope that tonight goes much better for you <hugs>.

kitty - welcome. You are a trooper for sure, I hope that the cycle goes well for you! I was on the gonal, lupron and Menopur too, I hated hated that menopur. I also did all my own shots, it was just easier that way.

dys - yay for the last BCP! It took me about 2 days after stopping to get AF so hopefully it is quick for you as well.

PMApsy- I agree that pregnancy test are a gamble, hopefully on Friday there will be some good news for you! hugs!

lisa - I had to laugh about the passing wind, the progesterone for some reason has made me so gassy. My husband has had many laughs about how I am stinkin up the room. I have also had a sore chest, also on my side effects of progesterone list... ugh. Why do all the side effects have to be the same as pregnancy!

rio - lots of luck for tomorrow! I have high hopes for the three of us!

I have had a headache I can't shake, but I am in a better mood today. My brother had bought me a fertility charm in thailand and had it blessed at a temple, he had given it to me right as we started the cycle that led to my twins. I had looked everywhere for it when we started the IVF and couldn't find it (I know silly, but it is nice to have a little good luck charm) and I found it on accident today. That really lifted my spirits.

Hello everyone,

A quickie before I go to bed, my you guys were active during the evening!

bei,
How are you hun? POAS pusher this morning? Now I'm a POAS addict? Oh, sweetie... I've known people around here who did 5-7 HPTs every day during their 2ww... seriously, they bought boxes of HPTs in bulk... those were happy to be called addicts! Alas, I don't think one HPT qualifies for the title! :D :D :D Hey it's great that you've started stimming!! I'm sure your doc has your best interest at heat when he changes your dose, it's better to follow your body's response along the way, means he's flexible and actually adapting the protocol to your own individual needs. It's definitely a good sign! Yes let us know when ER should be, do you have an ultrasound soon?

purplefish,
hey there! Sorry about the headache... I totally understand how that talisman made you feel better, and I'm happy you found it! I have a Mother Goddess tiny figurine on my night table, it's made of pink quartz and it's very simply sculpted. It's been a great reminder that I'm not alone, and that I can access motherly energies whenever I need them, for me or for others, we've been through a lot of events, that little quartz figurine and I. And at a time, it just eluded me, I could not find her no matter what... and now she stays with me... maybe she'll disappear again for a while one day. :D

kitty,
Hi there! :D Looking forward to hearing the results of your apt tomorrow! I hope eveything goes according to plan!

rio,
Oh, sweetie, you seem all worried about me, but please don't!!!! *HUGS* I've been fine since last night!!! I had a wonderful day! I never went off the PMA, that's what I said this morning! I'm glad I POAS, it told me it's likely I'm not expecting twins. It's weird, I know, but to me this is a multiples-BFN, not a singleton-BFN, so I'm fine with it. DH is relieved, I'm really happy about that! It was always at the back of my mind, I felt guilty about it even if it wouldn't have been my fault (but when you're the one that's the problem...). I only plan to POAS on Friday morning, as originally planned. DH would have to drive through hell and back to get to the clinic on a Friday afternoon for the blood test. So we'll do an hpt at home on Friday morning to get some result together, and I'll go to the clinic alone to get the blood test and wait for the results. I used to advise against HPTs as much as I could, but when I became pg with my son, we did an hpt one day before beta because I had so many symptoms. Instead of getting the news in a clinic, we had a super tender moment in the privacy of our home. I still remember the look on his face (I couldn't look, he gave me the news) and it's a very precious memory. So HPTs are not always evil.... SUPER TIRED IS GOOD, I LOVE IT!!!!! As crazy as it sounds, I also love purple's headaches!!! Looks like we're heading for a "pregnant after tmt" ménage à trois!!!! LOL

lisa,
I'm so sorry to hear about the emotional roller coaster being so bad during your 2ww... I'm sure you already know all the comforting thoughts you can possibly remind yourself in such a moment. But it's never enough; it's better to keep as busy as possible so you keep your mind distracted. Checking baby web sites, thinking about names and due dates and such only make time pass waaaay slower, believe me! And by the way, lol, my husband is always so kind, during our quarantine period, to remind me that I've still got a mouth and a pair of hands! We love to tease each other that way, I know he's not really putting pressure on me! ;) (don't repeat that to your husband, lol!)

kiz,
I'm worried about you hun, really... I'm so sorry you've had such a rough post-ER time... gee, I don't remember anyone having it that rough and I've been here since 2007. Rio, do you remember something like that? I really hope that your clinic will help you out... by the time you have ET, you'll see, the pain will be gone hun. Hang in there... I wish I could be there...

dys,
thanks for your good words hun, I think implantation bleeding is a myth, but hey, our bodies send so many signals during the 2ww that you never know what to believe! Some don't have any symptom, some bleed heavily and still give birth to a healthy baby 9 months later! :D oh yeah, I remember lupron-related headaches!!! Gah!!! You poor thing, have you tried acupuncture? It really helps!!!! I've never had lupron and BCP at the same time, so I can't help with the AF question, sorry.

AFM, doing very well! I fell asleep in the train during the ride back home, I was so tired! And the nausea is getting worse... I had to eat in front of a patient because I was so hungry I was getting sick... and just an hour ago I started gagging because I felt so hungry and sick... typical MS, I remember that feeling, so I had to eat an English muffin with cashew butter and jam... now I feel better but it's still there in the background. So the symptoms are getting worse even if my meds stay the same. If that htp shows me a BFN on Friday morning, I'll be VERY surprised, I'm so convinced I'm pregnant! :D :D :D

Take care ladies,

Sophie

PMA - So glad to hear from you and see you got tons of PMA :) yes, I can't help but worry about you! That's whst buddies are for! You were so funny "I am not a POAS addict!" hehehe! I proposed doing an HPT the morning of with DH also and he is adamant about not doing it. I will be at work on Friday and really don't want to get the news alone! I would not rule out twins yet, there are some twins with low betas out there ;) ;) You got quite the case of MS which makes me pretty sure of a BFP! How is your DS feeling? Better I hope!

Kiz - have you gone and seen your doctor again? Let us know if you are feeling better, I am so sorry hun. If you are worried can you go to another doctor like your PB and have him check you out?

purple - I had the same thing, a horrible headache I could not shake even with Tylenol. Hopefully a good sign! I am glad you found your fertility charm, how sweet of him to do this for you!

bei - looks like you are on your way to ER, when is your next US?

AFM - Funny how we all have our good luck charms. When I was in the 2WW with my son I wore the same night shirt my mom wore when she was pregnant with me, and now I am wearing it all the time too for good luck! I really don't know if I have any symptoms or is it just the progesterone playing tricks on me. Headaches, very tired at times, not just your regular tired but almost like an all of a sudden hit the wall I could sleep now tired. Boobs are not sore. Some cramps. But then again I didn't have many symptoms with DS either in the 2WW. 3:45 pm today first beta - woo-hoo! Baby dust! (can't believe I won't know anything while RE knows something!!!!)

Hi ladies! I'd really like to jump in a bit late on the May group. I didn't know I would be doing IVM until yesterday. We were trying for IUI but my eggs were really not growing very fast and not really responding to clomid. Since I had 1 folicle that was growing he suggested IVM which seems like it may increase our chances??? It will at the least be the best for our schedules, which are very busy with travel for work. Anyhow, they are aspirating my eggs on Friday. I went back in this morning for a U/S and I now have 2 folicles that are growing. My RE said that was good so that there are some that mature on their own and some that he will mature in the lab. Right now our transfer will be either Monday morning or Wednesday afternoon. I guess I will find out Friday. I have to take a double Orvidrel shot tonight at 6:30pm. This is our first attempt at anything. I was so sad when they said they may have to cancel the cycle and now I'm scared to have a bit of hope for the IVM. Sorry I am rambling but I'm a talker. :D Anyhow, I just really wanted some ladies to go through the 2ww and everything else with. I really have no clue what all is happening...there are so many drugs and complex procedures that it is a bit overwhelming. So....anyhow. I hope everyone gets their BFP and I am so sorry to those who didn't. Baby dust to everyone! :D

There sure are alot of you in 2ww. I am hoping and praying for all of you. Hopefully Friday will bring this board alot of good news.

Dys24 - I took my last BCP on Saturday and AF showed up last night as I was getting ready for bed. It was almost exactly 72 hours after I took my last pill. I hope this is the last time I see her around here for a very long time!!

Lisa32 - It is cool having another Lisa on this board!! I am sorry that you have been so emotional lately. I think it is normal, especially with all the hormones they pump into us. This past month I have been having feelings of rage. I can't explain it and sometimes it scares me. I have been getting mad about the smallest things. I hope since I have just stopped taking BCP that it will get better.

Kizmet - I hope your pain has gone away!

Purplefish - glad you found your fertility charm. We need any help we can get ;-).

Rio - I can't believe you get a beta, but you don't find out the results of the first one. That would make me go crazy.

PMA - I had bleeding during my 2ww last time, and I was pregnant. I bet you had implantation bleeding and you are BFP. Can't wait to hear the news on Friday.

Bei - sorry about the dosage changes, but I am sure it will make your follies grow, grow, grow.

Dodo - good luck with your 2ww, I can't wait until I get there too.

Welcome Kitty and PA_FA.

AFM - I am so glad to be done with BCP. I just got AF last night and I have never been more excited to see her, and hoping this will be the last one for more than a year!! I get a baseline U/S tomorrow and should start stimming next Monday. I can't wait to get to the next step. I have alot of bruising on my stomach from the Lupron shots and I know there is much more to come, but it will be so worth it if I get a BFP. I am working hard at keeping a PMA.

PA_FA - welcome to the group. I hope that the IVM goes well. I have never known anyone that has done IVM, but it sounds good. I hope that you get to go through with it! When will you know by.

rio - I hope the blood test went (is going? I have no idea what time zone you are in) well. I have great hopes that is comes back +.

PMA - I am glad you are staying positive even with the negative HPT. I can't wait for Friday!

I am feeling better today, no headache. We had a big weather change roll through so that might have been the problem yesterday. My husband has started freaking out, he is more anxious than I am. He said there are two outcomes he is terrified of: negative and another set of twins  He hasn't been sleeping well he is so anxious. He was also worried about paying for college, having enough room in the house, and traveling on a airplane with 3 kids... he is too cute. Only two more days! Rio and PMA, what time do you guys go in? I go in 7:30am (pacific), They usually make the calls around 11:00 (pacific) so hopefully I will know by lunchtime Friday.

PA FA - Welcome! I think it is great your RE will try to mature the other eggs in the lab, I wish mine had done that and I could have had frosties!

Lisa - yeay for AF!!! And the only one for the rest of the year!

purple - we are in the same time zone. I test at 9:30 am on Friday but have no idea when they will call. I was cracking up reading about your Dh and him being so anxious! Do you guys travel a lot? We go once a year to South America and I wonder how we would do it with 2!!!

I am super dizzy and tired, I am hoping it is not just the progesterone but a BIG FAT POSITIVE! I am so anxious right now I can't concentrate on work or anything for that matter, I have been doing well so far but today knowing I get a beta but don't find out is driving me really insane   Awwwwwwwwwwwww!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I keep checking the board every 5 min to get distracted, can you tell? ;)

Thanks all for the welcome.
Purple- I will be doing the egg retrieval on Friday morning. I take a double trigger of ovidrel tonight. They will mature them over the weekend, although the RE said that 2 of them may be mature by Friday. Then either Monday morn or Wednesday afternoon the will to the transfer.

Sorry if I get the lingo wrong. I am really new to all of this. I thought it would be IUI until yesterday.
I'm still trying to figure out everyone's stories and where they are at in cycles so please forgive me if I don't comment on everyone's day in the beginning. I just can't tell you how good it feels to have people to go through this with. My DH is quiet and not a very good communicator. Right now he is in the basement tinkering with model airplanes. So....thanks in advance for being my sounding board. :) (I wish there was a smiley that blew kisses!!!)
