I just got back from the hospital and thought I would update you all before I go back to sleep..

I had my EC today and have 13 lovely little eggs.. I am really pleased and the op wasn't as bad as I first thought.

Thanks for all your support - I must sleep now as feeling tired but will be on again tomorrow hopefully to have good news about fertilisation.

HI LADIES,

SORRY I DIDN'T WRITE EARLIER AS I HAVE BEEN IN ALOT OF PAIN TODAY. DOC CALLED AND SAID IT IS TOO EARLY FOR SIGNS OF OHSS SO I AM JUST SORE FROM THEM TAKING OUT THE 41 EGGS.....

GOOD NEWS IS THAT 35 OF THEM WERE MATURE AND 30 OF THEM FERTILIZED.
WE CAN'T BELIEVE IT.ICSI IS AMAZING HUH......
SO WORRIED ABOUT OHSS AS IF I GET THAT NOW THEY WILL NOT PUT THE EGGS BACK UNTIL 1 MONTH FROM NOW... I WILL BE PRAYING EVERY WAKING MINUTE.
IT CANT POSSIBLY BE HEALTHY TO MAKE THAT MANY EGGS. WELL IT IS IN GOD'S HANDS NOW...
POOTLE---- SO HAPPY YOUR OK... REST AND USE A HEATING PAD IF YOU GET CRAMPS IT WORKS WONDERS AND TYLENOL TOO....
MY STOMACH IS SO BLOATED, DOC SAYS IT IS FLUID AND GAS. GOD WHAT I WOULD GIVE TO FART RIGHT NOW ( SORRY LADIES TMI)
I AM SCHEDULED FOR FRIDAY BUT THEY MAY TRY FOR BLAST.....
THAT WOULD BE SUNDAY...

OH ANYONE TAKING PROGESTERONE SHOTS.... ICE IT FOR 15 MINS, YOU DONT EVEN FEEL IT....
THANKS FOR THE WELL WISHES... :D :D :D :D

Hi ladies,

Debra, I know it's hard when they make you wait or the set you back. Hope your feeling better today. I'm thinking of you and hoping your lh levels go down.

Judy, glad to hear things are progressing right along with you. Hopefully you'll find out soon when ec day is.

Pootle, congratulations! 13 is a beautiful number. Hoping and praying they all fertilize for you!

Yay Jay! Bring on AF! Hope she arrives and you can get started soon.

Sue, you crazy girl! "Hopefully none are live" LOL. I hope not to! Hey Sue, did I tell you I used to live in Skelmersdale? Been to liverpool many many times. Loved it there. Ferry, cross the mersey.. lol Umm, ok, so enough singing. How you feeling? Getting any rest? I'm doing pretty good. Still taking bc pills. Only 8 more to go then i'm waiting for af to arrive so I can take first blood test. If fsh is low enough then I start tmt right away. If the baby gods are with me I could be starting tmt again in the next couple weeks. All depends on af and blood though. Keeping my finger crossed.

To all the rest of you girls. Hope your all doing well and feeling great. Praying for you all in every stage of your tmt. Take care.

Paula - You made me laugh with the ferry across the mersey  what a fine voice you have. That was the first single i ever bought  I'm just a loyal scouser!!! How long where you in skelmersdale? where are you originally from? there are too many roundabouts there for my liking, they should put picnic areas up on the top of them because you end up going round in circles and coming back to one you passed half an hour ago, so at least you would have somewhere to take a break!!! 8 more pills and then hopefully your off full steam ahead, will be keeping eveything crossed for you.

Lisa - great news on your fertilisation results, hope your soon feeling much better, take care

Pootle - great news on the eggs, well done, hoping today you have lots of lovely embies

Judy - Good to see you have got some foolies progressing nicely, wont be long before ec. When is your next scan? My first 1 is monday which is day 9. Hope your visualisation is going well.

Smita - hoping all is well

crasmus - How are things going?

brs888 - PMA PMA PMA, wishing you all the best

Debra - How are you doing?

Jay - Hope af arrives soon, i know what it like waiting to start next stage i was dr for 7 weeks and the wait is so frustrating, take care

Tracii - How are you doing?

If i have forgot anyone, im sorry, i can only reply to the ones im able to scroll down to as my memory is so bad.

Take care and good luck everyone

love

Pootle, 13 is fabulous, well done.

Lisa....fingers crossed no OHSS but someone just got pg having had had her tmt delayed for a month so all would not be lost. However, let's not borrow trouble, you're doing really well so far.

Just off to work. Still exhausted. The hot flushes at night seem constant now. I'll be more chipper this evening, promise!

Hi to everyone, how are you doing?
hugs

no news as yet on fertilisation but need your advice girls..

I had EC yesterday and felt fine afterwards however woke up this morning a little short of breath and my face, neck and chest are bright red and burning.. and itching slightly.
Phoned the clinic and they said they had never heard of this before and that it was probably unrelated to the EC or anaesetic and not to worry.

Any body else had this?

Maybe I am worrying uneccessarily but I have never had this before..

Hey Pootle, I've never experienced those symptons before. I've always had lower abdomen cramps after a retrieval. Could it be that you've had a reaction to the anaesthesia? Maybe allergic to one of the contents given thru anaesthesia?

Sorry, wish I could have had a better explanation.
Take care,
Love

Well I have great news - I am now the proud owner of 9 little embryo's. I am so happy :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Dora - I am thinking it is an allergic reaction too. If it gets worse I will call them again but it seems to be steadying itself now.

Sue - Thanks for your great wishes they worked a treat.

Jay - Keep sniffing, I have stopped now and would you believe it I actually miss it. Funny eh? When my AF finally arrived (5 days late) it was wonderful the best one i have ever had - not as much pain. Hope yours will be too.

Lisamarie - you sound in good fettle although you sound as if you are in a lot of pain. My clinic could not believ the amount of eggs you had collected. They said that they would have stopped treatment a lot earlier. I am sending over lots of healing power to you to stop the pain.
The hot water bottle worked a treat thanks!. Well done for 30 little embryo's.

Debra - also wishing your lh levels go down.. and a successful blood test.

Paula - keeping fingers crossed for AF to come soon..

Soz if I missed anyone - ET tomorrow and then a week of pure relaxing - I can't wait.

Love to everyone

Pootle, wishing you all the best for ET tomorrow. Enjoy your break next week too. Let me know your test date as I'm doing the October test dates and you might be the first on the list :D

Lisa, I hope you're feeling a little better. Any firm news on ET? re. the gas. Would it help to drink carbonated water and burp a lot??

Judy, any news on EC, if you're on Day 7 of stims, it must be next week?

Paula, I've everything crossed for your FSH to be good and low.

Jay, let's hope AF is on time and the next step can begin.

Colleen, perhaps we could swap temps for a day or two? It was 3 degrees centigrade (37F) at 0900 today, it rose to a heady 8 (45F)...it's the very, very end of summer + we have Hurricane Nate although he's pretty much blown out, the rain has been relentless. I guess I should be grateful not to have hot flushes in high temps.

Sue - still seeing 12 follies? I've never tried the visulisation approach but can imagine it could help.

Off for my repeat blood test to measure LH, let's hope next Tuesday brings a good result and I can start stims on 21st.

Pootle and Lisamarie - excellent news on the embies :D :D :D :D

I just got back from my acu doc and she thinks I have improved tremendously since the beginning and feels I am ready to go with the next cycle. She said there is still some cold running through my blood but we will work on this the next couple of weeks. I am feeling really positive about this cycle and can't wait to start.

Debra - I hope the LH gets under control...can they up your dosage of Synarela? I think it is better you wait rather then start stimming and have the issues like I had in March.
