Denise, hope AF arrives soon. I think I am at the same stage as you. Any tips on how to encourage AF to appear??? I am hoping to start stimming on 16th Nov after a cyst drain.

Thank you to all the ladies who post their news, it helps to keep me sane. It's really helpfull to know others are going through the same experiences with all the highs and the lows.

Hi Blake!

Good luck for tomorrow. Just try and stay as calm and relaxed as you can, I'll be keeping everything crossed for you.

I went for a scan this morning and we're now confirmed as due for EC on Weds 9th at 8.30am and due for ET on Fri 11th at 5pm. About 13 good sized follicles there now, they're pleased with me.

However, in the last couple of days I've developed a urine infection. Normally I'd drink loads of water and cut out alcohol and caffeine, but as i'm already doing all that, can anyone recommend anything?

If it's cystisis then a teaspoon bicarbonate of soda in a glass of water a couple of times a day should do the trick. It tastes foul but really does work!

Anna - I went for a big long walk...that did the trick for me! Good luck.

Keep us updated on your news. I do my first stim injection 2mrw. Dreamt last night that I got it all wrong and didn't realise until the needle was inside me and it was too l8!!

I'm sure it'll be fine though - iv'e written a big long list of detailed injection procedure and will make DF follow it to the word whilst I do it!!! Poor DF - he puts up with so much with my strange ways!!

Thank Kat & AMck - I was talking to my mum and she reckons my symptoms might just be all those follicles pressuring my bladder! She may be right. I'm definitely trying cranberry juice as it also count as a portion of fruit! If I'm still struggling tomorrow I'll see if i can track down some bicarb.

Kat - so close now! Are you excited yet?

I have scan tomorrow, praying it's better than fridays scan..... Each IUI ive had has been so different, ovulationis so unpredictable huh?
