We, Thank you for updating the board! Dh and I have been talking about taking a break to save up for more treatment this upcoming summer, we will be going through the IVF Attain Program and after every attempt if still no baby we have decided to go through adoption. I'm been moping around this morning that my best friend from grade school- friends since we were ten years old wrote me last night on facebook that she miscarried her baby. Dh reminds me that she already has 3 kids but still I am so sad for her as she longs to have another baby with her new husband. I pray 2012 will bring us all many good things and the family we so long for. On a positive note, I get to see Belles tonight she's learning to play the piano so I'm going to teach her "Heart and Soul". We have to remind ourselves that we are blessed to have LOs in our lives too and there are so many kids out there that need someone who is willing to spend time with them.
May 2012 bring us much content in our hearts... Happy New Year Everyone!

Sunshine~ so sorry about your grandma. It is so hard to see the people we love get older. I hope they take good care of her in the hospital.

Lyd~ big congrats! so happy for you. I hope the OHSS turns around and you start peeing next week. I can't remember. Did you transfer two or three?

Maria~ big congrats. Hope the 2WW is non eventful with positive results. I'm glad the embryos thawed so nicely. Yay! And I'm glad you had a nice time at Disney. It's nice to get away once and awhile.

Gina~ sorry to hear about the bleeding again. Geez. No fun for you. Regarding your question... Day 5 transfers are more likely to result in a baby. Maybe the clinic doesn't want to increase the chance of twins?

Kala~ congrats on the transfer. I'm glad it went well. I'm hoping you continue to get some rest. When do you fly home?

LauraN~ sorry for the doubt. It's so hard to not think the the worst after all that we have been through. Good luck tonight with your 17 year old. And I haven't heard of the red underwear. Maybe I'll try it. I need some luck for next year.

Leora~ geez. You can not catch a break. I'm really sorry. I liked hearing about your play. I'm hoping it's helping to distract you from the IVF misery.

Ninde~ thanks for asking about my mom. She made it through her first round of chemo (3 weeks) but her cancer numbers are not good. We may have to add another chemo agent which is disappointing. She flew back to Utah for 13 days so I get a little break. I miss her but I'm glad to have some time to catch up on life. Let me know if you like the app on the iphone.

Bonnie~ yikes. That is quite the beta. I'm looking forward to hearing about your U/S.

Neffi~thinking of you.

AFM~ the HSG went fine. Totally normal. I guess I'm glad that it's normal but I'm sick of being told that everything is perfectly normal when I sit here still not pregnant. All tests are normal, perfect embryos... annoying! I worked yesterday and had a crazy day trying to save a man's life all day but loved seeing his family's love for him. The patient is still alive but will probably pass today. Sometimes I like when I work because I'm so busy that I forget about IVF, my mom's cancer and everyday life while I'm there. And I realize that they are bigger problems than mine. Happy new year to everyone. I get to be the designated driver tonight so not much fun for me. That's OK though. At least I'll feel well in the morning.

Jayne we transferred 3 embryos. I am so glad all your tests are coming back fine. Sometimes it's just a matter of odds, unfortunately. This was my ivf 6, I had 3 misses before this. It's nice that your job gives you prospective, it's always good to be reminded of one's good fortune.

Sunshine and Ninde thank you for your well wishes! So sweet of you to check in on me. Sunshine I think your IVf attain will definitely result in a baby. They wouldn't admit you to the program if they thought they wouldn't succeed.

Afm: had our two friends who always come to us on new years eve over for food and chat. As ever it was great and im thankful for their friendship. My older sister gave myself and my twin a chinese lantern each to light at midnight. I was just ready to light might and make my wish when my twin texted to tell me not to light it as she had spent the entire new year countdown running with jugs of water to a number of neighbour's cars and houses that she and her husband had nearly set on fire with the lantern - its a very windy night here!!! If you knew how accident prone my sister is this would all make sense! So we decided not to light it just in case!!!!

Happy, happy new year. To those who suffered loss in 2011 im thinking of you. Commend your sorrow and loss to 2011 and face into 2012 with hope and joy. And I wish every one here peace, joy and contentment as we move forward, sharing each other's journies.

Jayne- Okay, that makes since about the days, I'm still learning and never have about that part. I understand they want to lower the chance at multiples but if they do a day 3 transfer with two, isn't that not giving them the best chance? Kinda frustrating. I know even with some left to freeze that doesn't mean they will thaw good, or I'm I wrong? If so then that fresh cycle may be all we have.

Maria- Thank you for asking as well We are doing good. I think we were all ready for 2012 to get here! We are all just ready for us to leave Germany and be back! Hopefully this year will bring us lots of count downs!

Ninde-Thanks for asking Im feeling really good. I had some nausea the other night and then a little twinge or cramp last night...but other than that nothing. I cant wait to POAS tomorrow. That is funny about the latern...I wish you much happiness for 2012 and lots of blessings!

Gina-i think you were asking about quality on day 3 or 5 and success. We actually did a day 4 transfer of 3 morulas and got my DD. I dont think the day matters. I read on boards that day 3 and day 5 are just the same successful rate. And the embies should defrost just fine. We defrosted 2 and the grew to 5 day blasts. My parents celebrated new years in Munich...they said it was awesome. I cant believe how much Europe get's into fireworks on New Years...we dont have much in the US. It made me nervous...it sounded like bomb here in serbia.

blue-how was vegas? where did you stay? Im confused...you came home on new years eve?

AFM-Im going to take a shower today. Im so excited. Then Im going to see DD...she has stayed with aunt and cousins for 3 days. I miss her. Then Im going to see if there are any drug stores open...i want to stock up on hpts. Im also going to have to clean this house it is a disaster. Hope everyone had a great new year. DH took a cab home from the bar to kiss me at midnight, cheers with a little vino then watch fireworks...all while the cab driver was waiting out front. then he hopped in the cab and headed back out to party. I thought it was sooooo sweet of him.

Kala-I'm definantely a POAS addict. With the last two pregnancies, o hot a very giant positive at 4dp5dt. I haven't really thought about it at all. I feel like I'm just going through the motions and I'm not really emotionaly invested this time. I guess that's expected, but it still feels very strange to feel the way I do. Anyways, I will probably POAS at 4dp5dt this time again. I definantely don't like waiting for the Beta to know. I'd rather go into the Beta knowing. So 4dp5dt for me will be on January 3rd.


Gina-I'm so glad your all doing well. Any special plans for today?

Sunshine-thank you so much for your well wishes. I think you plan with the Atain program sounds great. I think that will give you the best chance to bring home your little miracle. Your so right about being greatful and recognizing our blessings. Thank you for the reminder.

Jayne-thank you for your prayers. I'm glad the Hsg went well. I know it's hard hearing that everything is fine when you just want so desperately to find the reasons why. Hang in there and have faith. It will happen.
