I'm going to accupuncture first thing & I think if they're all less than stellar quality, I'll have ET. I didn't even get that far last time, so I feel that I should.

Turtles I'm so sorry about the push, but hopefully they catch up. My lead 4 were too big by the time I got in so they couldn't use them( that's why only 3) but maybe you have more than 3 little ones & they'll be great. I also think the HCG pushes them to grow quite a bit too, and the smaller ones only need to be about 15 to trigger I read.

JDC I completely agree with you! Go forward with it. With a smaller number of follicles, chances are they are more nourished and good, and it only takes 1. Lot's of prayers for you!!

LB That's a great number! I'm pulling for lots of ferts tomorrow. How exciting after all those hurdles.

AdsWow, what a crazy weekend! I know it's frustrating to cancel, but cysts aren't serious & it's nothing to do with your eggs & you'll be super healthy with a great environment for them to snuggle up in. Thanks for all your positive energy & support!

Adsgirl- I had cysts both cycles and was able to continue on lupron to shrink them. The cysts must be large if they want to cancel cycle. You will be on your way to a BFP soon!

Cocosmomma- the blood work wasn't too bad...it was several vials of blood though! I don't recall it taking too long to get the results. Hopefully it wont delay you!

SD- Congrats on the ET.

JDC- Good luck to you. It only takes one!

Jharris12- good luck, I don't remember the trigger hurting too bad. It can be painful the next day. Icing first is good and then tomorrow if it is sore, you can put some heat on the site.

Well I broke down today! My poor DH! I can't even take me sometimes
I am having a hysteroscopy on Wednesday and starting acupuncture tomorrow. It really does move fast once you get going.

Rinnie-- They switched it from Apri which is a generic to Necon, which is a generic for ortho novum. THe Necon is what I took ofr 7 years before I knew I probably didnt need it! I stopped spotting immediately! Good luck to you!

Hello Everyone,

I had my u/s and bw today to see if I was ready for FET on Thursday. My lining was at 13.5 which was good. The nurse said it had to be at least 7. The bw was good too, so it's a go! I just have to wait and see if my frosties survive the thaw. I have 7 and hoping to transfer 3.

LB - Congrats on 13 mature eggs! I had the same amount last Feb and all 13 fertilized but only 9 kept cell dividing.

AdsGirl - I wanted to check the board one more time before bed and I just wanted to send a note to you after reading that your cycle got cancelled - stupid cyst!!! Keep your head up though, you'll be cycling again in no time and you'll have a BFP before you know it...My DH always tells me to 'stay positive' about everything, but I think he forgets sometimes how many ins and outs there are to this whole process (not to mention the ups and downs)...I keep telling myself that if you can make it through this journey, you can make it through anything...I have you in my thoughts and prayers tonite! Here is a little quote that I love - because I know for me, I feel like its always go, go, go and sometimes I forget to just 'breathe'!! ...I hope it helps get you through to your next cycle

Wow ladies, this thread is really rolling now! So much is happening....it's hard to keep up.

Jharris - By the time you read this, you probably will have already did your trigger, but I found that not only does icing the spot prior to the shot ease the pain, but massaging the area for at least 5mins immediately afterward minimizes the soreness. My nurse also told me that a warm compress immediately aftward will also minimize soreness. I ice before and massage afterward with all of my bum shots.

4fanops - I had pregnancy symptoms while on my 2ww during both of my previous cycles, but my nurse told me that pregnancy symptoms are a possibility due to the progesterone I was taking......that it may or may not mean I was pregnant. She was right, because both times resulted in a BFN. You'll just have to be cautiously optimistic during the 2ww. I hope you get that BFP!

AdsGirl - Wow! As I was reading your story, I had no idea you were going to say that your cycle was cancelled. My heart dropped. I'm so sorry to hear that, but think of it this way......it's not over.....it's only a delay (and hopefully a short one). And, thank God that they found the cysts BEFORE the ball started rolling. We want you to be healthy going into the process, so there won't be any hold-ups. So, keep your head up!

Cocosmomma and Hopinginpa - Let me know how the AP goes. I've thought about doing it also.

JDC - That's great that your doctor decided to go thru with this cycle. Hopefully, those 3 follies will render you a BFP!

OK, alot going on here as usual!! So I took my trigger last night. It wasn't too bad. I iced it for about 15 minutes while DH was figuring out how to mix it and stuff. I think he was more nervous than I was! But he did great. It's a little sore when I turn, but I can handle it. I go in this morning for a beta check to make sure the trigger is working. Then my ER wil be tomorrow AM!!

Neffi: Glad the spotting finally stopped. I spotted from the time I started BCP's until after my Lupron period ended! That was no fun! Glad they changed your BCP's!

cocosmama: Good luck w/BW test today. Hope the AP works for you, too!

SD: Congrats on the transfer, and being PUPO!! My prayers go out to you!

JDC: It only takes one, then we both get to ER tomorrow!! I only had 7 good follies, but hopefully we will both get exactly what we need for our BFP's! Good luck!

turtles: I hope the extra days makes those other follies catch up w/o pushing the other ones too big, and hope you get to ER on Friday. Take it as a good sign that you have just enough meds to last till Wed!! I'm praying for you, too.

Rinnie: Good luck w/Ap & ET! I said a prayer for you. And thanks for the info about being queasy. My nurse said my E2 was getting high (3883), so that's what caused the nauseousness.

Good morning! I just got the fert report - out of the 13 mature eggs, 9 fertilized, so we have 9 embryos now. I have to check back in tomorrow to see how they are doing and when they will transfer. Grow embies grow!!!

cocosmama - Before I started IVF, I had to have a ton of tests done to make sure things looked ok. I think they took between 12-15 vials of blood. They sometimes have trouble with my veins, but that day it was fine, and they didn't even give me juice or sugar afterwards - I was ok. Hope it goes well for you too!

The BW went just fine this morning. 12 vials and no dizziness. I've never had a problem before, but then again, I've never given 12 vials worth!!

I hope it is OK for me to move over to this board. I got a big negative for my IVF/IuI cycle so I am now scheduled for IVF in June/July. I know I have seen some of you on the April/May board and I will have to read back on pp to catch up on where everyone is at. Good Luck to all.
