Mellow - wonderful news! your twins are little fighters! Take it easy and let the house go!

Baby blu - congrats on being in your 2nd trimester!

Blessed - congrats on your HB!

Amanda - so glad you will be getting your iron clad cervix next week, how long do you have to take off?

Annas - when is your next US?

Katie - hoping your bleeding goes away and US shows everything is great!

Today is Margi's beta - sending her tons of baby dust for a great BFP surprise!

AFM - weird to have no appts this week. Went for my GD counseling and I am looking at 7 months on super strict diet. Which is ok but the issue is every week you are pregnant you get more insulin resistant, so what works this week does not next week. Also if you eat a bit too much you get high blood sugar and it creates all kinds of issues for the baby, you eat a bit less and then poison your blood with ketones, so it is a very stressful balance. The weird thing is I am not even borderline diabetic when not pregnant. I still feel strange carrying twins but knowing one will not make it, you can see him in the US but I will never be meeting him, I am thankful for the healthy baby.

Blessed~ :) Glad you got to see the pitter patter of that little heartbeat. Awesome isn't it! :) When I was 8 weeks pregnant with my son last year, his heart rate was 167...he was definitely a boy, so the old wives tales don't ring true. :) The one the next week for him was 176! My sisters is low and it's a girl. When do you go back for another ultrasound? What's your due date?

Rio~ That sounds insane! Try not to stress over it. Right now I feel like I am dying if I don't eat every 2 hours, and nothing sounds good...so glad not to have the restrictions like you are, I would be hooped! :) I am glad to hear things look good with your one little bean, but, I am so sorry about your twin that didn't make it. Thinking about you.

Blessed - YAY for hearing the h/b today!!

Stephanie - Congrats on starting the 2nd trimester, WOOHOO!! I was having pretty bad constipation and I was really worried about it getting worse after surgery (surgery/painkillers always bind me up terrible.) My MFM told me to make sure I'm drinking at least 8oz of water (or other fluid, but preferably water) every waking hour and have a humidifier going as much as possible. Apparently w/ our forced air heat he said I could easily lose a liter of water overnight just breathing through that heat. Well, I have to say that while I am constantly peeing, that combination was magical! Things are soooooo much better in that department now. Just wanted to share in case something will help.

Rio - I'm so sorry you're having to deal with GD again, and so early in the pregnancy! Our twin never developed a heartbeat, but I still feel a little pull on the heartstrings every time I see that 2nd empty sac on the u/s. I'm glad your one baby is doing great and I know his/her twin is going to take good care of him/her. For my surgery, I'm scheduled to take a week & a half off from work, but if I'm feeling ok, I'll start back up earlier so I can save more of my leave time for when the baby comes. I work from home so I should be able to start working again once I can sit "somewhat" comfortably with my laptop.

I guess I'm a crasher, since I am not pregnant nor in any danger of becoming so any time soon... I got a call today from my RE's office wondering why I never followed up on my appointment in September, and it reminded me of you girls here. So I stopped in to see who there was to congratulate, and I am so happy to see so many familiar faces in the "Pregnant after treatment" board!! For those of you who don't know, while my husband was talking to me about having a second baby he was also running around with a girl who works for him. So after over 12 years together I got a text message November 4 that he found somebody else, he moved out of our house November 7, and moved in with her and her 4-year-old son (from the relationship she was cheating on) December 1. And just like that, no more IVF for me! It's so devastating to think of my 4 little frosties who will never have a chance now to become beautiful children like their brother. But my son is the biggest blessing of my life, I can't regret one second of what has past and the pain I know is yet to come because clearly I was always meant to be his mother. Again, I'm just so thrilled for all of you. Good luck with your journeys! I know it felt like an epic adventure just to get here, but it's only just beginning... :)

Hi All - Just wanted to update you - had a ultrasound they didn't see anything as they suspected - but they also didn't see any blood in uterus so that could mean it all passed out by then or it could mean that everything is OK. In my case it means the former it has already passed out and my HCG numbers have plummeted to around 3000 so now it is just a matter of time for them to drop completely & we will decide if we are going to do this again - I am sorry I am not doing personals I just can't even see straight through my own grief right now - so sorry & I will be in touch. Thanks for all your support ladies!

Wondercat - I've thought of you often the last few months and I was hoping you were doing ok. I'm so sorry for everything you've been going through. It's just awful that AH would do that to you (sorry, but I changed Dear Husband to Asshole Husband for this occasion.) I'm so glad you have your beautiful son but I wish you didn't have to go through the pain and betrayal you've gone through. Sending you lots of hugs and I hope things get better for you soon. ((HUGS))

Katie - I'm so sorry! Take all of the time you need, but know we're here for you if you need to vent, scream, cry. Hugs to you too!!

Wondercat... I didn't know about your situation but I'm really sorry to hear you are going through this. I know it's hard to hear, but it's better he did this sooner rather than later. Is there any way you can get him to sign over his rights to the frozen embies? I'm so glad you do have your son... remember, life is long and you have more time to have more children. I can't imagine how tough this is for you right now. It sounds like this man has a lot of things to work out in his head - I don't envy the baggage the other woman is getting. Big hugs and thank you for stopping in.

Katie I'm really sorry to hear you are enduring yet another loss. It's so difficult to comprehend how low the lows are, and each time brings us both more worry and higher hopes at the same time it seems. Very sorry about what you are going through... I do wish you all the strength to get through this, and that time passes quickly and brings healing. Please let me know what you will be doing and if you are going to do another cycle. My Dh and I endured many losses and lows throughout our journey... you aren't alone.

AFM - had my first trimester screening today. The little one was acting all cute again in there. Did a few flips and kicks to start the show and then settled in so they could do all the measurements. NT scan looked great, they did 3 measurements of the fluid behind the neck and all were between 1.30-1.43 so that was looking good. I should have the b/w results by Friday and now I'm all set for my TAC surgery on Monday. Hope everyone had a great holiday weekend!
Amanda sounds like things are going great! Yay for good results. I know this post is a little late - did you get your surgery this PAST Monday or is it NEXT Monday? I love that your baby was showing off for everyone. Looking forward to hearing more good news on Friday. How are you feeling emotionally and physically?
