Kyleen - im on another IVF board and some of the old timers started a secret Facebook page for all those that have had success. well on there one of the ladies was complaining because her IVF twins were boys and not girls. blah blah blah i wanted to reach through cyberspace and slap her across the face. So what if you can't do girly things with your boys, figure out something else, be thankful for what you have. I just don't understand some people. As far as yours getting stuck in the catheter. I have heard several other gals have the same issues and each time it has been a BFP. Hope you can keep the streak going.

Zdia - Welcome to the board. Most clinics say not to have sex but i don't think there is any scientific reasoning behind it. Sometimes i think clinics just make up rules to make the 2ww more stressful. Ok you can pump me up on drugs that make my libido go crazy and then tell me not to have sex. just not fair.

Katie - Welcome, hope your stay here is short and sweet.

Blair = Thanks so much for keeping the calender going. I know i have done those before and it is so hard to keep up.

AFM = i go in for u/s and blood work tomorrow. hopefully my lining is getting nice an thick. I also have to do intralipid infusion. So much fun. sitting there for 45 min while they infuse fat into my system. not like i really need more fat. hahah Can't wait for Wednesday to hear more info on my donor. today was 20 to 30 follicles in the 10 to 14mm range. I just hoping for a really good handful.

Hi everyone! I haven't been on for a few days since I'm in the middle of a 3 day stretch of 12 hour shifts at work. So it's pretty much work, sleep, get up and go back to work. Fun, fun, fun! So anyway, I hope everyone is doing well and hopefully I have a few minutes at work tonight to read up on what's going on with everyone!

AFM- I had my US and lab work this morning. I have one follie at 18mm and another 7 between 13 and 16. The nurse seemed kind of concerned about the one that has jumped out ahead of the rest. My E2 level was only 159, so we are delaying the ER to give the others a chance to catch up. So now I get to do daily US and labs. Ugh!

Hi everyone I am new to the board. My husband and I are flying to Mexico to do our IVF. We leave March 7th. I am so nervous but very excited. Has anyonw used IVF in Mexico? We will be using an egg donor as well. I feel sad the baby will not be genetically mine, but at this point we are just praying for a healthy baby. I would love someone to chat with during this experiance......Thank you for your time....

kyleen - i always feel bloated after er, usually doesn't go away for a week or so. it will take a while for your ovaries to go back to normal size. if you feel really bloated and gain weight, make sure you talk to your Dr, could be OHSS.

mamaboo - For my5th cycle, found out 3 people were pregnant during my 2ww. one was my brother in laws girlfriend who weren't even trying. first grandchild and all that crap. I think i was pissed for over a month. I think those few weeks were the worst weeks in my life. Sorry you have to go through it but hopefully you will get your BFp and get to enjoy in all the fun.

Thats funny, just go with the good feelings.

Here is me for day 1 after fet. I am alternating between positive that my sticky bub is implanting etc, to stressing over every cramp and twinge that I have to smacking myself around to main positive and telling myself that cramps are positive. In addition to all of this I have pre starting uni stress, they have me doing teaching placements forever away and imam requesting a move but no word yet and they are quite nicely ignoring me on this. So that is my day 1 after transfer. Please common assure me all my inor cramps and twinges are good?.

Kyleen - Welcome to the 2ww. By the Grace of the Lord, it will be a happy ending. We all deserve it. About the bloating I had a terrible one after ER and lasted through the first few days after after the cyblast (day5) ET due to OHSS back in my previous IVF in September 2010. I was admitted for about 7days and was even drain twice. I pray yours doesn't get that bad but just call your RE. Sorry

I plan to start hpt by Thursday, day 9. I hope that is not too early since I had a day3 FET. I started experiencing more cramps and also breast getting bigger, tender and sensitive from last night and hope that is a good thing. I official Beta date is March 1st.

To POAS or not to POAS???? That is the question!!

OK guys, what are your thoughts? What are the pros and cons?

I've been told not to, especially early because the HCG trigger shot we take could stay in your body for up to 2 weeks and would therefore give you a false positive. That's why I've been hesitant to POAS. I've also been told that sometimes the pregnancy HCG isn't high enough to show up in urine early. Therefore perhaps giving a false negative. GRRR....I wish there was a definitive way to know early.

Kyleen, yes I felt bloated after ER for 4 or 5 day, then it all went away. And yes, I'm having cramping too, so hoping it's these little one(s) implanting into my uterine lining. My naturopath gave me a tincture that stops cramping almost immediately, it's called Black Haw. It's a great way to put my mind at ease that yes, cramping is good, but not too much cramping.

Crissylove - WOO HOO...congrats! I'm hoping to be one of the next BFP's!!!

Gracefully - please let us know how it goes in Mexico. Can I be really nosy and ask how much money you are saving by doing it in Mexico? I'm assuming that's why you're going to Mexico?

SD- Sounds like you have daily pregnancy roller coaster rides already. I love that you mapped out the emotional up and downs in those steps. Let us know how the official beta goes. Im sure the numbers are through the roof by now!!

LYD10- Have you caved in to test yet? You need to keep the streak alive. Good luck and hope the 2ww is going well.

gracefullyservinghim- Welcome to the boards!! Even though no one on here is going to mexico, we do have 1 who is using donor eggs. We are all here to answer any and all questions you may have.

shaymama- Are you counting down the days yet? I was looking and estimating things yesterday and it should only be about 32 days or so until I am PUPO! Seems like awhile but Im just ready to be there.

Mamboo- Dont let that put any extra pressure on you. I know its beyond frustrating though. When we were pregnant in Nov/Dec I was beyond excited...then we found out we were going to miscarry. That same wk DH sister announced she wasnt trying but was preggo with her 2nd (she would have been 2 wks behind me). Now shes announced that its a girl..so not only did she have the first grandkid, but she had th first grandson and granddaughter...blah. Its not that I hate that shes pregnant its just that her pregnancy is a constant reminder of where we would be with our failed pregnancy so its very frustrating. Just try to stay positive. I have a good feeling about this cycle for you.

to_have_fun- intralipids...why do they make you do that? And is that the same with all people who use donor eggs? It sounds like your lining will be perfect for some of those 30 eggs the donor is getting ready. How many are you all planning on transferring?

cwehrs/blissful- more and more follies sounds good to me. Hopefully they can all mature up and leave you with a baby and some frosties for next time!

indigofire/zdia- are you all caving in to test? Keep us posted when you POAS. We are all anxiously awaiting the BFP!! Even though you triggered you should be able to see the change on the test from trigger to BFP. Different brands pick up results at different levels...so just try an assortment. I usually get at least 1 digital test each time for close to the beta just to verify the results. The dollar store tests are usually a good read too. Good luck!!!

kyleen- Twinges and cramps sounds like your little one is making a nice home. Stay positive and know youll end up with some good news!

Mamaboo- Even tho it's extremely difficult, don't let the pressure get to you cuz it tends to stay with you. What the mind believes the body perceives. You'll be jumping for joy before you know it. Right now ur it Crazytown. Just stay on the ride and waive at the bystanders as you pass through.

Grace- welcome. Never did IVF in Mexico, but any effort to be a mom is something to admire. Maybe you should consider posting that question as a topic under the IVF board. Good luck. We'll be pulling for u.

Kyleen- on the bloating...I certainly had that, gas noises, and constipation (sorry for the TMI) the first day or two after ET. Then on day 3pET everything suddenly stopped. No breast tenderness. No nothing. So of course I freaked! Then on day 4 the cramping. Yesterday- day 7pEt I had severe cramping after I'd already got my BFP. so it's all good. Anything positive you wanna read into is "all good". That's my opinion.

Zdia/Indigo-i read in several places that POAS'ing 11 dpo was when some of the HPT's can start pkg up the HCG, even though there's some ppl who get it b4 and some after. IDK- just food for thought. But whatever you decide (and I was dead against it before) remember, ppl get BFN's all the wat til beta and still get positive betas all the time. So that's y I rolled the dice and did it. Again, just an opinion.

SD- thx for the well wishes. I'm convinced too much PMA is never enough even though it's an emotional roller coaster.
