First Ultrasound

Post by JennaJay »

I don't know if anyone remembers me here... I posted a couple of times last month during my suppression cycle. I have been quite busy with my job and haven't had a great deal of time with my computer!
I wanted topop in and give an update. I started my stims on Saturday, and I had my first ultrasound today, to see how my follicles were coming.
I have produced 15 follicles thus far! :) And they are from 8 to 9 millimeters. I am not sure how good this is, but my nurse seemed pleased. I have another ultrasound on Saturday , and my Doc seems to think I will trigger on Sunday.
Since I am having ZIFT, I will have retrievel (more than likely) on Monday and have Embryo transfer on Tuesday!
I can't believe it's almost time! My emotions seem to be off the richter scale right now, with excitement and uncertainty.
I hope everyone is doing well, and wish all of you the very best...
I will try to be on everyday from here on out!

Jenna,

We seem to be a little close to the same schedule. I had my first doctor visit since taking stimms (5 days). Things are going well and the follicles are all different sizes at the moment. I am tired and bloated so the meds are working. :) ER will be sometime (Tues, Weds) next week. I wish you the best of luck and this board is such great support!

Nice to have a cycle buddy!
Since starting my stims, I have been EXTREMELY bloated and crampy.
I also have been lucky enough to continue my night sweats (sarcasm at it's best) :x
I wish you all the luck in the world! :)

Gosh so much has gone on in the last couple of days.

Kagame- Try not to worry. drink plenty of water to kep ohs away. Similar thing happened t me at the end of janaury and I was so upset. They reduced my dose and i coasted for a couple of days and did get to ec, but had total freeze. A the time i was gutted but after ec it was certainly the best thing to do as i didn't feel that great. They are only doing what they think is right for you. stay positive. Take care

Sand- Thinking of you. Sending positive vibes for your 'perfect' little embi. Take care

Susie- Good luck for et tommorow.

Hope everyone else is ok.

luv christine xx

Yay Sandra, I have a good feeling about your little embie. Take it easy and try and enjoy(?) the 2ww.

Well done Susie. Glad to hear everything went well.

Jane, if you don't mind me asking, why are you having a day 2 flare? I did not respond well to the long protocol and want to ask my doctor about a short protocol. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Best wishes

Hi Everyone,

Thanks for all the kind words of welcome.

A day 2 falre is a sort protocol on day 2 I start downregging and on day 3 I start stimming and I should have EC in about 14 days.

I had problems with the long protocol so the Docxs do this with me it workd more with my bodies natural cycle.

Cheers,

Jane
