My scan date is March 30th, praying hard that March ends as well as it started! Serves me right for whinging about lack of symtoms, have been feeling like crap all weekend, though still manage to fit a fret or two in there, figuring that feeling sick might just be down to something I ate (for petes sake!). Am sick, shattered, (with headaches and constipation and burning thirst thrown in for good mesure) .... but quite typically no bigger boobs! Bummer!

Hi Mel,

Just thought it made sense using this thread as a number of people wanted to keep intouch with progress and I didn't we should hog the March thread!!!

I'm doing ok although very scared, this will be my 4th pregnancy and so far I have never got to see a heartbeat, thats what makes the worrying even worse, but i am trying to remain hopeful. Still feeling sickly, small amount in the morning but mainly about tea time, also have the mettalic taste. I'm glad my boobs haven't gone any bigger!!! If they do i would probably sufficate myself with them, they are already too big

It's good that you hve started with the symptoms after worrying you wern't getting any. GOOD LUCK for the 30th.

You can add me to the short list of first scans as well. Good idea to do that here instead of hogging the march test thread. My first scan is a week from today, Monday, 3/27. I finally started getting pregnancy symptons this weekend. I've been nauseaus throughout the day. And I sleep a lot. Bring it on! I'm not complaining! I'm thrilled to finally be pregnant. I have this fear of miscarrying for some reason that I can't quite seem to shake. So I'll be glad to do the first scan and see how the baby is progressing...and see if there might possibly be more than one (my hcg is really high, although I know that in itself isn't a for sure indicator).

Good luck tomorrow, Sue!! Let us know how it goes. Mel, alittle more than a week left for you. Isn't the wait fun?

Kristi - Its horrible isn't it, we get this far and still can't relax and enjoy the achievement. How far gone will you be at your scan? I will be 6 weeks 3 days.

Yeah, definately no relaxing yet. I haven't been given a due date by my doctor yet, but the best I can calculate using the online calculators is that I'll be around 7 weeks.

My clothes are all too tight already. I didn't think that was supposed to happen yet...? I can't wear a majority of my pants already. Strange! I suppose that, along with my neausea are good signs. I'm not complaining, that's for sure!

Your right how ironic it is that you finally get to this point where I always figured there would be overjoyed elation and birds would be singing away 24/7 ... and instead spend the night stressing that it is all going to be snatched away! Humph.

Hi Kristi - Am with you! Bring on the bloating and the nice new intimate relationship with the toilet bowl!! I wish the scan was sooner, with every day that passes I become more hopeful and the harder it will be to face things not working out! Oh yeah thats right PMA PMA PMA PMA. When did you get your BFP?

Yes, lots of PMA. My transfer was on February 21. BFP on March 10 (seems like my doc waits alitlte longer than some others). But then I only had to wait 2 weeks for the first scan. My hcg level on the beta was 1200 so they didn't want to check that again since it was high. I can't help but be curious if there's more than one baby growing in there (I had 3 grade A embryos transferred in and hcg was high). Almost time for bed, which means less than a week now!

Same transfer date as me, crapola they DID Make you wait! Talk about an agonising 2ww with bells on for good measure!!

Twins, Wow! Wouldnt that be a bonus!! I saw how long you had waited to get to this point, its so wondeful that its worked out for you! Maybe making up for lost time then, there could be a couple in there!

Would LOVE to see twins on my scan, but thats a miracle gone too far. Tight fists would only put one embryo back but hey one is so much more than enough and am so happy that theres just one little embby buried away in there

Well that's funny. We had the exact same transfer date (ironic) and I had to wait longer for my beta test, but it's the opposite for the scan. You have to wait 3 days longer than me for that. That could simply be a matter of timing at the doc office though. I know my doc is at that office only certain days, so that's probably why they picked the day they did. Yeah, twins would surprise the heck out of me. After 10 yrs of no baby I can't imagine possibly getting blessed with two. I'm trying not to think about whether all 3 may have took. I should assume it's just one, but I can't shake this thought that there may be more. Which is a bit scary.

We should here from Sue today on her scan!!!

Hi ladies, as you can see our little 'bubble' is doing fine, we even got to see the heartbeat, it was amazing. Trying to relax a little, although I will find it hard until my next scan at about 12 weeks. Thank you all for your support.

Congratulations Sue!! I'm so glad to hear that everything went smoothly today and your little one is doing good. Wow, almost another 6 weeks before the next scan, huh? I didn't realize we'd have to wait that long after the 1st scan. I guess that's a good indication that they expect everything to progress smoothly. Take care of yourself during that time!

Just want to say congratulations to Sue - so glad your scan went well - its such a relief, I'm really happy for you. Don't know if I really thanked you before but after my ectopic last year I really appreciated your advice - it meant a lot. I hope the next 7 months or so go smoothly sweety.

Good luck to the others waiting for scans - this wait is much worse than the 2ww I reckon. Wishing you all the best

YAY sue!! Am so happy for you! Thats wonderful, the excitement must be vicarious, couldn't wait to see how it had gone for you!

You must be overjoyed. Well all plain sailing from here, with no worries then! (yeah right!). I guess you'll be looking at sorting out a midwife and all of that stuff now right? Bit scary being set adrift for 6wks, but I guess it becomes much easier (?).

Ahhhh the wait is killing me, I feel like I got my positive about 2 months ago not 2 teeny weeny weeks!

So, what a coincidence, but am figuring Kristie and I transferred on the same day, and Sue and I tested on the same day, which means surely that roughly our approximate due date is probably roughly the same(ish)!! Taking a leap of faith and speaking out loud before the scan even, I am estimated at 11/12 November.

Kristi - It depends on the clinic, some do a 8 week scan as well, i think our clinic just wants us off their books (NHS)!!!! I have got an appointment at the doctors on 31st March and will try and push her to get the scan sorted asap and i think then it's over to the midwife.

Mel - I thought my EDD was about the 11th Nov and on the card the hospital gave me it says the 3rd Nov, which is from my LMP. Seems weird as they know exactly when conception happend and my period was over 2 weeks before ET, so by their dates i think i am over 7 weeks, im so confused. I wanted to set my ticker up but didn't know what date to use.

Sue - Congratulations on the scan You must be relieved to have seen the heart beat.

My first scan is at the 5week point (3 weeks after EC)...they want to check for sac and yolk. So my scan will be this Friday - 24.March. I am praying hard everyday, rubbing my belly and talking/singing to the little bean.

No bad symptoms - lots of AF type cramping, finally sore BBs today, and sometimes I get really tired (yesterday 2 hour nap!) - but at night I find I can't sleep because I can't get comfortable and when I do sleep I get very vivid dreams (some of them very sexy ).

Based on EC, my delivery date is 24.November.
