Hi ladies!!! I mave missed the group so much, but a lot has been going on with us. (Most are positive)

Pep, I hope you had a great birthday!

The MS has stopped for the most part, now I just get ill if I do not eat enough, which is easy to remedy.

My stepdaughter is in Utah now in a boarding school getting the help that she needs.

We find out next week what genders we are having and I am very excited!!!

I am glad to hear that everyone is doing well! Here is the updated list. Please let me know if there is anything I am missing.

HI Everyone,
I have been missing for a while. I ended up having a miscarriage when I was 6 weeks along. Dr's didn't listen to me, I know my progesterone was too low. Tonight I start cycling so I can do a FET Cycle.

Did any of you get pregnant on a FET cycle?
We only have 2 to transfer....

I did switch to the progesterone shots this time.

I see you are all doing well and your babies are growing good!

Donna I'm so sorry, that is so sad. I wish you all the best with your FET, a good friend of mine got pregnant following an FET so it really does happen.

I know it doesn't help at the time but the hope of a new cycle is the best cure following a m/c, that and time and a lot of time with your DH. It will happen I promise.

I also had a m/c at 6 weeks, we then did a FET (which we wasn't successful for us but likely because I had to coast for 5 days and I think the egg quality suffered) and then on our second fresh round, following the m/c of one twin we are now 14 wks pregnant. I am sure you will be successful with your FET, you have a lot of things working for you, not least that you have managed to get pregnant. I promise that counts for a lot, my consultant, having not read my notes before the follow up appointment after the m/c totally changed his tune when he realised that we had had a +ve result, it really is a good sign even though I know it doesn't feel like it when it sadly ends in a m/c.

Wishing you every luck for your FET

Reward, Goodluck today. You will be in my thoughts. BTW little boys are so much fun and they adore their mommies!

Donna, I'm so sorry for your loss. I definitely rec the progesterone shots (as much as I hated them) and I would stay on them until 10-12 weeks of pregnancy. Good luck with the FET. I had a 2 blast FET prior to this pregnancy that did not take and then my next fresh cycle worked. The success odds are a little bit lower but I know plenty of people that it has worked for. It's out of your hands so relax and try to think positive.
Also consider acupuncture for you FET. There are several studies showing higher FET success rates as much as 30+%. I did acupuncture for my FET and unfortunately it did not work but I was much more relaxed during the whole process.

hey girls, I hope you don't mind me popping in:)
Donna so sorry about your loss, please stay strong and change the doctor if you can. They should listen!

anyways, wanted to mention, that my doctor told me a story when I came to him after two failed ivfs. The was that lady from Israil who went to US to do a IVF in Carnegy hospital ( excellent IV league college and hospital I guess ). She had 3 IVFs there, all failures, went to my doctor ( he is specilizing in hard cases)
he propose to do a FET on her. and it worked!!! He says that if the clinic has a sucess with FET and they know what they are doing there, it works 90% of the time. It is just your lining, your endometrium and your progesterone have to be certain levels to except the embryo(s). Good luck!!!

Donna, I am sorry to hear about your loss - no matter how far along you are it is just as hard, especially after we have been through so much. I feel like I have been pregnant a year.... You WILL be successful, think positive thoughts!! This is a crazy story but I called BCBS to find out my benefit coverage and the man that helped me and his wife had done IVF - fresh cycle - got pg had a mc, next fresh cycle didn't take but his frozen cycle worked -- I remember feeling very hopeful and the fact that you did get pg is positive. I will keep you in my prayers. Please keep us updated.

Ivfmom, Kia, Tams, all of you... THANKS so much for your thoughts and prayers. The FISH (prelimin) test came back as only 2 pairs of 21, 13, 18 and of course an XY, so that means that so far so good. The high result was for Down's and that's 21. So YIPPPEEEE!!!! :D

I am so happy and feel so blessed to have a healthy baby!!! Thanks again for your support this has been a hard couple of weeks.

Reward, that is just fantastic news, congratulations!! Phew, I am so relieved for you. It must have been such a worry, I hope you now feel that you can start to really enjoy this pregnancy, you are now well over the 12 week stage and have a -ve for downs and are expecting a little boy - reason for celebration I think!!!

So, so exciting that its a boy. I am beginning to wonder whether we shouldn't just find out. I don't have a preference and I think I like the idea of a surprise - but I'm not sure whether I can wait!!!!

Congratulations again, that really has made my afternoon.
