Merry Christmas to all my wonderful mommies to be!!!
Just wanted to let you'll know that I am due back to the Doc's in the morning. They asked me to come in tomorrow since AF has been at it since 12/14. I was not due back until 12/28. I think they may start my stimming tomorrow. They advised that they wanted to test me to make sure everything was okay because they said something about not wanting to get just one dominant folllicle (for whatever that means.) Any help with that comment would be greatly appreciated.
If they start me stimming tomorrow, this would be great news for me. That would mean that they would be moving things up if all goes well.
This long period has me really worried that everything is all messed up for me now though.
Also I have been taking Lupron injections since Sat (12/22) and I have no side affects/symptoms. Is this normal? We put the shots in my stomach and I barely feel them going in. I hope we are doing this correctly. My stomach seems to be a little numb since my other children were born through C-section. I think there may be some scar tissue there so I'm hopping that I'm getting the affects from the shots that I should be getting with all this. Any suggestions?

Thank you so much Hellokitty! It is looking really good. In the past 2 days, we have had a couple of faint lines and then tonight, a pretty clear solid line! Our Christmas wish looks like it may come true....I will post numbers tomorrow after my beta! Thanks again, and Merry Christmas to all!

Did you use normal HPT's or special ones ordered from the internet? I ordered some from the net that test 20 as opose to the 40 from store brand and DH and I were indecisive as to wether there was a line, we had some other people look and they said yes but we aren't getting our hopes up. My beta isn't until friday so I was just trying to get a straight answer for christmas. lol

Congrats on the forward move towards your next IVF. Let's pray and claim this time to be your time for a BFP! Best thing for you to do is address all your questions to your RE or the NURSE tomorrow. They will give you the best answer, this is their expertise.

The early pregnancy tests you got online are good. You probably can get a light positive line now (11 dpt). Be sure you do not drink anything for at least about 3 to 4 hours before testing so your urine is not dilute. Also hold test strip in urine 5 to 20 seconds. If you have another one try it again (you bought more than 1 I'm sure LOL). I think you'll get your desired result. Let us know!!

Schel congratulations what great numbers my first beta was only 470 and i was pregnant with twins so maybe both of your embies have split imagine that four at once ha ha it does sound like multiple numbers though well done you congratulations again.
pumma i'm so sorry it hasn't worked for you this time it awful after all the suspense and waiting to find out it hasn't worked so i'm thinking of you and hope your taking it easy.

As for me lucrin injections begin on the 2nd of jan. i used the nasal spray synarel last time so a little nervous about the injection but oh well got to do what you got to do. does anyone know if you need mix lucrin or if its just draw up in the syringe and go i have no idea of what lucrin is like get this my doc will still be away on holidays when i start so his secretary is giving me the needle lesson she must be qualified in something well i am hoping so.
Anyway keep the bfp's coming good luck to those waiting to find out results and goodluck to those who are about to start

Thank you to all for the congrats, of course I am optimistic at this point, but still hoping for a high beta number. We are leaving in about 30 minutes to go.
I know waiting for that phone call today is still going to be torturous, but dh and I are going to get some xmas returns out of the way and maybe do some bargain shopping to keep us busy while we wait for bw results.
I gotta tell ya, the hpt roller coaster was an insane ride. 3 nights ago, the night before christmas eve, (9dp 3dt) I was crying my eyes out because they had all been negative. Then christmas eve morning another negative. I really thought it was over. But then we read what Schel just said, about waiting 3 or 4 hours so the urine is not diluted, and it worked, a faint line. It has been all faint lines or even better since then. I feel much better going into this beta test knowing the probable outcome, even if it were to go the other way, I think I would have still felt better. Without the hpt's, I would have been a nervous anxious wreck for days now.
Mrs G- I was using first response early results. They claim to measure 25 like most of the others, but consumer reports rated it the highest and most accurate and I read online that it sometimes reads as low as 15. I bought so many of those stupid things, I sold out my local walgreens! There is a strip online that claims to test as low as 10, but dh and I decided it was too late to order, so we just went to the pharmacy.
Schel- Definitely best christmas present ever! Scary present, but fabulous present!

Jomae -- I have three teenagers (19, 17 and 16) from my 1st marrage. Had tubes tied in 1991 during the birth of my last child. Now I am with my new fiance who doesn't have kids of his own so IVF was our only option as my tubes are now damaged from previous reversals that didn't work.
As for me. I had my 1st US and Bloodwork this morning after being on Lupron for only 5 days. They said that my US looked good. The tech said that she saw 8 follies on my right side and 7 on my left. I didn't think I would even have follicles yet. I am so confused.
Should get my call between 12 & 4 today letting me know if I can start my meds. I'f today is a go, I could be doing ER next weekend around 1/5 and ET around 1/8. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that we can proceed.

Well, I got news from the dr's office. It is a positive! My hcg is 44 and they want me to go back on friday to test again and make sure the number goes up. I know comparitively to lots of numbers I have read on this board, 44 seems low, but according to everything I have read, it seems to be pretty normal, so now we just need to pray the number goes up for friday....
