karen vancouver - thanks for the info on DHEA I really hope that it is going to make this cycle my super cycle! Are you going to POAS?

Bichon - tell me about it! I totally hear ya on getting antsy, I never POASed before but this time they want me to wait 16 days post retrieval yickes!

karen scorpio - yea that makes sense that they want the biggest group together.

Shrunk - I can give you the address of my DH's ex wife if you want to relocate the mice there! They will be in good company! ;) Monday you will be PUPO with DW!

Leorira - I hear ya on eating for stress, I wsh I had lost weight before this IVF...

Chris - Your DH is right it will work!

jen - DHEA rocks! ;) it is a super secret supplement - oh j/k it is a supplement and it really seems to help! Hope you are doing awesome!

mellow - hope you have a great and productive trip here! Let me know if you need anything!

AFM - well getting ready for tomorrow's ER, I got acupuncture in my not so needle free day! I think this cycle is going so great but now I am getting terrified, scared there won't be enough mature eggs or they won't fertilize, you know normal IVF panic, I feel that it is going too good to be true for me right now and that I will have a spped bump but hopefully not, I am trying to keep the PMA but I am on an up and down day, so weird.

Hi girls sorry for the MIA it has been a crazy week

Bichonmom ---how are you holding up? I can't believe your resolve with not testing :) I am a POAS addict. Also I am so with you on the Daylight savings time (am also in PA) YAY! I love getting that hour back. Where are you in PA

Kerenthescorpio----almost there ! How are you feeling

Kerenvancouverisland-----any news?

Riogirl-----good luck with ER /ET

Shrunkinapole---mice suck!!!

Leorira-----I keep checking on here to see if your AF arrived yet. I am so sorry you are going through so much waiting. Good luck Sunday I hope your RE gives you a good answer

Chrisbaby----please feel free to vent anytime. I also had a hard time during stimming so hang in there. My sister is also pregnant and she is only 17 which has been a bit tough for me but I try to be supportive. Also don't worry about her weight loss. With my son (now 10) I only gained 7 lb the whole pregnancy and he was born 9lb and healthy so people have different reactions to pregnancy. For me everything tasted bad so I struggled with eating.

Margi---again so sorry for the bfn. Yes PUPO now and the dreaded 2ww but I POAS from trigger on so it is keeping me busy. We transferred 2 grade A expanded blasts so I am hoping and praying for a miracle.

sdtrying and mellow how are you girls?

sorry if I missed anyone but please know I am sending everyone sticky baby dust

Hey gals~ On a little trip...Rio it is beautiful here. :) Started spotting pink tonight...this is day 3 of stims, I've never had this happen before. I hope it's not a big deal. I hope it stops soon.

Anna so happy you are PUPO! :)

Karenvancouver, how long are you going to hold out POAS? I would be a mad woman by now. haha

Karenscorpio, sounds like you are growing some good eggs there, I hope all is well with your E2 and no coasting is needed.

Rio, try not to worry about things with the size of your follies, the mature more in that 36 hours from trigger, you should be fine. I hope all goes well in the morning and you feel good after your retrieval. I was freezing tonight out here, sheesh I'm not used to coastal air. Love hearing those silly seals out in the bay, arh arh arh.... :D

I know there are many more of you that I haven't had a chance to do personals for, but I am thinking about you all and keeping all my crossables crossed, and praying as hard as I can that we get some good news. I have to give my hubs his computer back, so it will be short and sweet until Sunday night. Good luck to you all this weekend.

xoxo!

to everyone

i never appreciated how many women are going through this like me...everyone seems so strong,..it feels wrong that i am hearing about these stories...as strong women...we are used to putting in the hard work to get what we want..this is out of our control..but we are expected to remain positive..

what is POAS?
sorry - i am new at the lingo.....

to all the women out their..you are fantastic, and no matter what happens with IVF/baby you are great and deserve to be happy.... :D

Hi ladies. I'm a bit confused and need some input from anyone who has heard of this. So at my u/s this AM a new doc/RE that I haven't ever seen or heard of before comes in to do it (my clinic is large and RE's rotate). Right away I sense a weird kind of energy, but I just greet him nicely and move onto seeing my follies. I noticed he was moving a bit faster than the other RE's. Yesterday I had atleast 5 that were noted by another doc to be 18mm. Today, according to this new RE I have one 19mm and one 20mm and then the rest were 16 or less...most being 12's-13's....and a bunch less than 10mm. I was kind of like, WTF? Where did my 18's go? And he said my lining is at 14mm, type 1...yesterday it was 11mm, type 1. Of course I'm no doctor but I didn't think follies could just disappear/shrink by more than 5mm in less than 24 hours? Seems very odd. And I think my lining might be too thick if it is really 14mm. My last transfer it was 10mm...which my RE said was perfect. Doc/RE today said I might trigger tonight and transfer Monday. Depends on my b/w today. I'm waiting for that call. I have lots of questions for my nurse when she does call! :?:

I'm weak and gave in. I just couldn't wait till Tuesday. I POAS this morning and its.......BFP!!!! I would post the picture because of course I had to take a picture but I don't know how. The line started to appear before the control line. I'm 9dp5dt today and after it happened this morning I was shaking. DH cheered and DD had no idea what the heck was going on  I can't bring myself to throw it away, is that crazy and gross. So I'm excited and nervous for my beta on Tuesday I hope my numbers are high and continue to grow. I stil have one more test left so I may just use it tomorrow or Monday just because

Hugs to all!!

Hi girls I am so glad things are really moving along on this board and Kris thank you so much for starting us all off on such a positive note...congrats.

sd---as much as I am a POAS addict and am testing out my trigger every day I don't think I could see anything promising until maybe next Thursday or Friday but I will keep all of you posted and if at any point I get a line that grows stronger day by day I promise to report it right away.

Rio, Blair and Karen good luck with ER/ET this weekend.

DH and I will actually be away for the weekend...I just figured we needed a few days to get away from it all and I need a break from laying around all day. anyways I think a weekend away at a B&B is the perfect distraction from crazytown I am slowly moving into. I mean I think our chances are good having transferred two perfect expanded blasts and I don't have any implantation issues but after all of the failures for what seemed like no reason this wait is tough.

Anyways good luck girls, I will be praying for all of you and I promise to reappear midway next week and hopefully with some good news

Hugs and prayers

Yeah Bichon. Yeah BFP. Yeah POAS. The pregnancy epidemic continues. This is getting serious ladies!

Someone just asked about POAS. I don't want to go back to look and see who it was, because I always lose posts doing that. Anyway, POAS is Pee on a Stick, that is, taking a home pregnancy test. Some fear the stick. Some love the stick. Some are addicted to the stick. POAS too early and you can get a false negative. This is the only real downside of the POAS as I see it. I am still waiting for my first IVF and my first POAS opportunity. I have the patience of a hummingbird with Attention Deficit Disorder, so I am a budding POAS addict in the making. I already have sticks ready and don't have my transfer date yet.

Best wishes to all.

Ok, so I got the call to trigger tonight. But I told the nurse I had some questions and concerns. Told them everything I noticed today and the nurse kept repeating herself. Insisting that I have 5 that are mature now and might have 4-5 more to catch up. I was like, no way lady. I have over 30 follicles growing. I'm not settling for 5 and maybe 4-5 more. I told her I want my case reviewed b/c I had this gut feeling things are not as ready as they can be. She agreed to have the RE doing the "reviews" today to look it over...and I also told her I wanted my assigned RE (one of the founders and a top doctor) to review it also. Also, after lots of bickering with her and insisting on a review...I ended up getting a second call back with instructions to continue to stims for one more day. Thank goodness. I just know it is the right decision. So retrieval will be Tuesday!

Oddly, when I addressed the follicles missing issue, what they had "on file" from my u/s yesterday did not match what the RE said during it. VERY VERY strange. I told the nurse this and that something isn't right...that I know what the RE said (I'm practically OCD about this cycle) and yesterday I had 5 that were 18mm...two of which are now 19 and 20. But whatever, I am just glad I got through to these people!!!! I swear, you really have to be your own advocate!

YEAH BABY!!!! 14 eggs! I cannot believe it! I said 14 follies? She said nope, 14 eggs!!!!! The max I ever got was 3 years ago and it was 7 eggs! I am over the moon and so hoping that they are mature and fertilize, I don't know how many were mature so I only find out tomorrow when I get the fert report.

Thank you so much for your thoughts and prayers now we need those eggies to fertilize and grow into beautiful embibabies!!!!

Much love always!!!!

Hi Ladies. Congrats to all of you that have gotten BFP's! That is wonderful.. To those that have gotten BFN's- stay postiive and keep trying. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you!

AFM- Had SnS today. Lining is at 10 (which they told me they like it more than 7) and my b/w was all good. Starting PIO shots tonight as well as Medrol. I'm having some skin issues from the estrogen patches. The RE today told me to just keep moving them every other day....

Have to go back in Monday for b/w and then they will let me know what time for the FET on 11/11..

Hugs to all of you! :D

Hi SDtrying..YAY for a 2ww partner! Not sure when my beta will be. I'm thinking the 23rd? We started PIO tonight and ran into an issue with the needles. The one we draw with was fine but then the one that is thinner and should be used to inject wouldnt work. THe PIO wouldn't come out...DH and I were starting to freak...UGHHGHGH. How long does your RE have you on bedrest? Mine tells me 3 days....
