Hey ladies,

My ET is tomorrow morning...we have 12 embryos waiting for us! I called to check on them yesterday and I had 5 of them already at 10-celled. So we are excited. They said I would be able to test on the 17th, 2 weeks from my ER. Wonder why it is different from each doctor??

So does the ET hurt? If it is anything like the HSG I had done, that wasn't pleasant at all!

Never had Et done but so I hear it's easier than ec....

Has my baseline scan and all was well so started stimms last night aiming for ec 21st Nov. Happy bunny as I feel we're now well on the way.

Great news Lola - you really are keeping the freezer busy!! You've got enough in there for 2 netball teams!! Here's hoping the 16th is a good day - I will keep everything crossed for you. I think I am aware of every pain possible in the stomache area!! Still having very mild stomache cramps - wondering if this is normal and due to the EC?

Fulloffaith - best of luck for the ET. It doesn't hurt at all and its really strange to see your embryos on a screen before they put them in. I would say that it is a bit of a nightmare having it done with a full bladder. I was absolutely busting for the loo and for obvious reasons I wasn't allowed to go!! Apart from that it was painless and over and done with in about 20mins.

4 days down and 10 to go....keeping going with the PMA!

Hi ladies

Thought I'd pop in to say I had my baseline scan on Friday 11/4 and all looks fine -- I'm set to start stimms on Friday, 11/11.

This is our first time so I'm not sure when to expect ER and ET... keeping my fingers crossed!!!!

We have our first consult for IVF on Nov 17. How soon could egg retrieval be after that.

I've searched several site and there have been no answers as to how long this process takes from start to finish. I'm hoping to be in my 2ww around X-mas or New Years. Am I only dreaming?

Any side effects from stimmimg?what stimmy meds are you on? The same ones as last cycle?

I have my second scan tomorrow (Stimmy day 6) and this will be the D day one....to find out if i have follies growing. I have been taking gentle exercise, eating well, doing daily relaxation as well as using creative visualisation to 'grow my follies'....Following MANY of Zita's method....Will let you know tomorrow.Fingers crossed....

Just saw your post. If you wait until the consultation the hospital will give you all the timimgs for your ivf. Each clinic does it differantly...Good luck and keep us all informed.

Hi gals!

I am doing my first IVF... can someone tell me what "ve" means? I assume that means it didn't work? I read that and feel sooooo bad for those of you who have had that happen. How does everyone afford multiple cycles with IVF. I make good money and I can't believe the expense.... ok I will get off of my soap box.

I am scheduled for ER on Nov 29th how about everyone else?

Wishing u the best for u ivf coming up..... The £ ($ in your case) is also the scary thing about this.....

Others just dont realise how lucky they are....

From what i hear ivf in usa is cheaper than in the uk....

Anyway, all the best with ER on 29th
