We,
I'm sorry too that this is happening to you, it makes no sense at all. We hear bleeding does happen throughout pregnancies and some many girls on the PAT board will tell you it happened to them too. Maybe a good Netflix could help ease your mind while you wait for the beta. Definately resting some will help! :D

Hi all, I hope no one minds a new person :) I just found this forum, and it is so great to see so much support out there. I have to say that IVF really can be a lonely process, but it's exciting to see so many people going through the same thing. My friends and DH are great, but it's hard to talk to them about it.

About me, I'm 32 and my DH and I have been TTC for over 2 years. We did four rounds of Clomid/Ovidrel with IUI to no success. It is mostly unexplained infertility, but I have stage 4 endo, and had a laporoscopy/hysteroscopy done in July 2011. My DH has passed every test with flying colors (much to his relief, ha). This will be my first IVF, and hopefully my only, woot! I had my sonogram and trial transfer done a few weeks ago, and it wasn't too bad. On Sunday I took my first Lupron shot, and I do that for 10 days, then an US and they will figure out when I start stimming (man, I hope I'm using all these words correctly...is there a glossary around here anywhere?). I think that's about it. I about died when I saw the huge box of meds they handed to me, but I'm getting used to it. I took a picture just because it was too crazy :P I'm excited to get to know you all and will take any advice that you have and to support others going through this!

Welcome Nikki, we're glad you found us! You will find much advice and great support on this board. Nobody else seems to understand the emotions that go along with IVF except us and in this journey we will be there for you!

AFM- (mostly venting)-
Had my meltdown earlier, phone rings and by the time I get to it, voicemail picks up. It was the clinic and so I call them right back and it goes straight to their answering service. Answering service tells me all calls have been fowarded to them since everyone is now out to lunch and won't be back until an hour and half later. Ugh I hate playing phone tag. She did leave me a message that I go in for Baseline tomorrow in Gulf Breeze. Ugh I had already told her I wanted to drive to Dothan clinic since it's closer and I have to work in the morning. Looks like I'll be getting up at the crack of dawn to make my appt., but Im somewhat worried what if we don't get approved for the 22,000 loan. It would make more sense to get approved first and then make all the running around. Loan application will come in mail...but then what if we don't qualify for the Attain program and that's why I'm doing the baseline and bloodwork, it's part of getting qualified for the IVF Attain program. Still maybe getting the loan approved is more important at this point. I'm not good with waiting and all the anticipation and then not knowing if this is going to get us anywhere, but what choice do we have? So here I am chewing my nails...and talking to my labradors telling them that everything will be ok.

So I got a call from the nurse. Beta is 266 and Progesterone is 13.5 which ia a bit low. The Beta number does not make me feel good at this point with the bleeding I had today. I just wish I knew one way or another. This is so darn early to start down this road. The nurse told me that my RE would call me later. He always calls to give the Brta results but she did not want me to worry until he calls layer so she called me with the results herself. Again, the number right now does not mean much. We will see what my RE says when he calls me later. Right now, I have no more active bleeding. I have a tiny bit of brownish discharge when I wiped this last rime. Truth be told, the bleeding was quite minimal compare dot the last two miscarriages, but still, I don't know. I'll update you girl later when he calls. The nurse did say that I should probably rest but I had to take my daughter to the doctor. She could not miss the appointment and my DH is alone at work today so there was no way for him to leave work and take her. What can I do. I will rest when I get home. I'll probably have to increase my PIO to 1.5 ml nightly and I won't even know until Wednesday it Thursday if I'm having a MC or if I'm still pregnant.

We, you are pregnant as the beta shows, all we can do is take it one day at a time. From what we've all learned in the past, the only way to really know is when the beta doubles as it should. As you said the bleeding is minimal compared to the last experience. Worry does us no good, but prayers can move mountains so I'll be praying for you that this is your time. For now put your mind at ease, He is in control.

Kala, I'm the same way, always like to be prepared at least right before I go in for the beta, I know it doesn't make it easier but it makes us stronger and somewhat prepared. Who knows, maybe we'll be cycling together! Our perserverance is what keeps us going and in the end we will bring home our babies.

Thanks Lydia, How are you doing today?

Kerri, I think a part-time job would be good for you too. Certainly give your mind a little break from all the madness.

AFm: off to work I go, and hopefully hear back from the clinic that I just called back sometime before they close today. Don't know why they can't hire another secretary if the phone lines are that busy. Yeck I would come work for them if it meant instant knowedge and fertility coverage. lol

Kala-I am so sorry. This news is always difficult but I agree with you. I prefer to be prepared although it really doesn't make it much easier. Have you spoken to your RE about your next step?

AFM-bleeding has slowed down to just spotting dro a veeydaek red to brownish but just spotting. I definantely dd not have bleeding like the last two times. This time it was only when I whipped. Last time when I sat on the toilet the blood just dripped.o spoke to my RE and he s still optimistic and reminded me that the bleeding was minimal this time, that my Beta was good, and that I was on the Lovenox which could definantely cause some bleeding. My next Beta is on Wednesday so we won't know anything until then. My RE did increase my PIO to 1.5ml every night.
