Welcome back JenBabes! Glad things went so well. Rest up, take care of yourself and you know we just can't wait to hear from you.

Yasmina, Tam & Andrea - Thanks girls. I had tears in my eyes reading your posts. I do feel your support and I appreciate it so much. I know that you understand. I know that it has been painful for all of us and hearing from you, the ones who really get it, means more than anyone else will ever understand. Thanks for all the good advice and wise words. About the YOGA advice... well it just so happens that I started yoga classes about 2 weeks ago and i try to do it 3X a week. I guess I read your minds. (Yasmina, I am going to look for the video you suggested. Thanks.) I've been running a little bit as well to help relieve stress. (I had stopped completely during my treatments, but miss it so much that now I just try to run a little bit each week. Yasmina, I was not on baby aspirin or any other blood thinners when I miscarried. We didn't know about the factor V at that time. I insisted on the test for it after just one miscarriage (My clinic does not routinely check for that unless there's repeated loss) But my lovely doctor listened to me and heard my concerns so he agreed to test me. Sure enough, it showed positive. He said, good for you, you found it yourself! Since then I've been on baby aspirin and will begin blood thinning injections WHEN I am pregnant. (Ya like that???? WHEN I am pregnant, not IF I am pregnant.) I'm feeling a bit better today. I think the word will get around school to NOT ask me anymore. My reaction to these people has been pretty horrible. Maybe they get the idea? The way the rumors fly at my school, I should be left alone soon.

Andrea, I found that some of the yogurts marketed for babies are full fat. We have a brand called Stonyfield. It's organic and they carry a line called YO-Baby. WHy the full fat yogurt? I am curious. ANd, I'll try anything. ANd you are right about being grateful for what we have. Yes, I have single friends and I know what you are talking about. They are lonely at times and I need to be aware of their feelings. Thanks for the reminder.

Everyone, I hope that you are all well. I really appreciate you. You help me each and every day. I am here for you as well. Take care.-chriss

GO JENB & KIM (Baby Blue)!!!!

Did my best to update the list (it's very sparkly...) so I hope I didn't muck it up too much or miss anyone out! (JenB - went to the Egg heads donor thread to get your test date. I've been lurking around there as DE may be a real possibility for us in future...)

Chriss - I've read somewhere that women who add full fat dairy products to their diet have been found to have an increase fertility of around 27%, to those who ate skim or no fat dairy products. (Don't quote me on that tho! And the study was probably done on your average fertile women). Catharine also mentioned something like this too. Like you - I'm willing to try anything at this stage - and besides, full fat just tastes better anyway!

Gotta go and stock up on some Ben and Jerrys...Hi to all!

Hi All-
Well wishes to our ladies in their 2ww :) Baby dust baby dust :)
LuAnne and Socal hope ya'll are feeling well.
How are our ladies in tmt? wishing each and everyone all the best as well :)
Okay maybe there is truth to the DHEA happy wives tale. I certainly feel real happy :)

Chriss-I read your post re: co-workers, and my heart just fell. I just want to reach out and give you a big hug, chase those blues away. I know the situation is difficult. We all know from our own experiences along this path. I wish it wasn't as difficult and I wish people were not so insensative at times, but it is not. We must persevere for the goal in the end is worth so much more than the hurt feelings that we may feel along the way. We all love you and support you through this arduous journey.

We have a week and a half before our appt with RE. I'm looking forward to learning what our options will be. DH and I would like to try one more time with our own eggs and sperm. But we are open to their suggestions regardless.

Wishing everyone well

Hello everyone,

Jen – thinking of you as you go into the 2nd week, the hardest time. Hope you had a relaxing weekend away. Have you got something good planned for this week too? I’ve got everything crossed for you. xxx
My film tip for the 2ww is “The Jungle Book”. It’s available on DVD everywhere at the moment because it’s the 40th film anniversary year and is great for relaxing. That bear, Baloo is just sooooo laid-back. 8) Hope I’ll be able to enjoy watching that film with a child of my own one day…

How are you LuAnne? Hope you are well and managing to relax a little more. Do keep up the PMA and keep us posted.

Love – hope you are OK and seeing light again. xxx

Amy, Andrea, Chriss, hope I haven’t missed anyone – looking forward to us being cycle buddies…

Catharine – good luck with your appointment. Maybe you’ll be cycling with us soon too.

Hi Amy – your schedule reads a bit like mine and you must be about 2 weeks ahead. Are you officially on your preparation cycle now? Good luck xxx

Chriss – Glad you have got some guidance from your doc quite quickly. If you have faith in your doc and certainly sounds like you do, I’d try again with your own eggs. It’s good to have the options of DE and adoption though. DE is definitely a decision with needs time especially as you and DH need to be on the same level before you start. It seems adoption in the US is easier than here. I researched a bit here and got the impression that at our age it’s quite rare to get approval to adopt a baby. It seems to get difficult from about 35 yrs upwards. For me, going through the whole procedure months on end and have your private life being scrutinized by a panel only to be told at the end that you can’t adopt a baby, only maybe a child of 8 or 9 years upwards, would be devastating. I’ve also heard that the authorities here also don’t like to see you trying for adoption when you are still going through treatment.

I hope the nightmare situation at work is finally over. Sounds like you mastered it really well. It’s not easy to have to suppress feelings all the time and it does take it’s toll on you. When a colleague of mine broke the news this week that his wife is expecting twins I was genuinely thrilled for him and had a big smile on my face but later I realised how such news always makes me feel very sad too – deep down inside. You just can’t show it. Leading this double life is for me one of the toughest parts of our situation. Having to perform at work and elsewhere in life, juggling all those appointments without anyone noticing how often you are missing, hiding emotions and at the same time pretending everything is OK.

On the other hand I’m lucky that I’ve had very few experiences of people being insensitive or asking if we don’t want children. Not sure if they are just too disinterested to ask, or suspect we’re having problems and are scared of saying the wrong thing, or maybe I just look infertile.

I’m expecting AF to turn up around 3rd November so that I can start again with the tests, scans and hopefully start the meds on cycle day 21. One step at a time. If all goes well, transfer could be anytime from mid December to mid January. I suddenly panicked whether the clinic would close for the Christmas season. After emailing the clinic I found out that they don’t take another break until end January. Apparently transfers have in the past taken place on New Year’s Eve! Of course I’m much more nervous this time because of having to cancel last time. I couldn’t bear it to happen again. I’ve heard of a few pregnancies at the clinic just recently so that’s encouraging…

Love to Anna, Bev, Tammy, BigJ and Yasmina - I’m always pleased when you get time to update us about your little ones - …and all the other wonderful ladies here I haven’t mentioned
Hope all is OK with everyone!

Hello Ladies:

Jen: Take it easy on your 2ww! Test day will be here before you know it.

After 17 months, AF is finally here. One advantage to breastfeeding is the delay of AF. Mine came at the 8 month mark.

Hello to everyone else. I don't have time for personals, as I'm exhausted since I was painting all day today. DH and I are rearranging our bedrooms/office and I'm painting them as we rearrange.

Take care all,
Tammy

Hi girls

thanks for all th positive vibes sent my way... you are all sweethearts, and Sonia I LOVE Baloo his is soooooooo laid back...

to tell you the truth i am struggling a bit...yesterday was my day 10 and usual bleed day. Was told WOULD NOT get AF on these meds so wass very surprised to see brwon then bright pink yesterday. I called the clininc thank goodness they were still open and they upped my meds. Could be a number of things but they did say mainly it was either the progesterone pessaries or the fact the embies needed more meds ( there for good news)...Trying desperatly to hang on to this but still have bright pink 24 hours later :? ( as well as sore back hot sweats) Gosh i hate this 2ww stuff...Hoping and praying embies are okay and it's just a mother nature thing  4 days to test day ...

catch ya all later

love to everyone jen x x x x
