Some women out there act like animals, their stupidity makes us wonder how they become parents, much less survive here. I just don't get it! I feel more sorry for the kids to have that kind of role model and personal influence to live with the rest of their lives. Why do some people have to behave like that, I mean seriously she should be banned from having offspring. Sorry I got on a tangent... but venting always helps! I hope the job market improves but sometimes we have to bite the bullet and start somewhere to move up in the company. With your talent and people skills I know you would thrive at any given organization. I will continue working on the nutritional diet along with you, last time I checked it I learned that my sodium intake was way too high. Biggest focus is to drink more water instead of sweet tea. Sweet tea dehydrates, while water replenishes and even helps curve the appetite. My focus is putting on 10 pounds while dh is trying to loose, I wish there was an easier way, but our determination will get us there! I cannot wait to start cycling with you, maybe in the Spring?

Sunshine, “Personal service”, it sounds an interesting idea. We do have this kind of service for the elderly and disabled people here. Why not give it a try?

We, It is nice to see your beta rising. I don’t know whether the number is corresponding to the embryo’s age because I haven’t been there yet. But I think rising is good.

LauraN-Thank you. They think they bleeding may have been caused by the Lovenox. Nothing can be done about this since I need to be on the blood thinner.

Kerpupples-don't loose hope. It is still really early. I will be praying for your BFP.

Kerri-thank you. There is a website called BetaBase in which someone can go in a check the Beta doubling time. Initialy, the Beta is suppose to double every 48 to 72 hours. I checked mine and so farther doubling time is great. However, I am staying in steady ground and not getting excited yet. Have to remind myself that with my two miscarriages I had great initial Betas and great doublingtimes as well. Here is my doubling time from the website:

Christy - beta is not until 1/14. BFNs so far have just been from POAS. I'm not giving up yet!

Anton - wow. There's no way I would have gone along with sitting with the men because I had no kids. Downright obnoxious, that woman! You are certainly a bigger person than me.

Leora - Penguins ARE cute! I would watch them for hours at our zoo if they didn't smell so bad. Nothing wrong at ALL with picking up that onesie. I had a friend who started picking up the random baby item here and there in her late 20s and she didn't have her first child until she was 35.

Maria - very strong excellent beta! If you've just got one in there that's a really, really great sign, especially since the Lovenox seems to be doing it's job.

AFM - very, very cautiously optimistic. I saw a ghost of a ghost of a second line on my test this morning. Also feeling tired today. Will test again tomorrow.

Oh, and I keep meaning to reply to:

Cheri - did you have any initial genetic screening? Also, I just did a clinical trial with full 23 chromosome PGD. I'm looking at my results, and of the ones that were good quality on day 5, 2 were genetically abnormal and 3 were normal. Of those that were frozen on day 6, 7 were abnormal and 4 were normal (my highest quality normal was a day 6 embryo). The rule of thumb that my clinic uses is that about 50% of your good blasts turn out to be genetically normal.

Feeling guilty, dh just called to tell me he got the part-time job, on top of working for the college so I now I won't see him much even on days that I'm off. Sooo I went online and found Hershey's is hiring, for 20 hours a week 9-2 M-Thur. I'm thinking about applying, it would be on top of working for the boutique where i only get 25 hours there, not sure what else I can do to help him. I feel guilty b/c if we already had a family neither of us would be diligently looking for work. *He tells me staying busy is his primary focus, but I also know the IVF treatment is going to cost a fortune, why is it so hard to settle. I love that he is ambitious and works hard, but at the same time it makes me feel guilty, I should be contributing more... Why is it so hard to settle?
