Hi girls!

Sorry I have been off the board for a while.
I just haven't been in the mood for much. I know I will think clearly when these hormones calm down. And AF is being stubborn and sticking around, making me more miserable.

Barbarella -- Holy sh*t!!!!! Congrats! I am hoping for the best for you! Good luck on Friday, those numbers are going to be high!!

Donni -- those pictures are awesome!

Laura -- I am so sorry to hear your news. this infertility game really sucks!

Faith -- how are you doing? Did you make a decision yet about your next step?

I think we are done, no more tries. We are grateful for what we have and we are going to enjoy every moment!

Beth- Again, good to hear from you. Sorry that AF is sticking around for you...She came for me on Monday, only a few days after our transfer was cancelled and it just stinks!!! Wishing you all the best with dd and enjoy the summer with her and dh.

Donni- I'll still be hanging around here on these boards- I so want to see everyone have success and want to hear your good news when Addison arrives!!

Barbarella- Good luck again on Friday- hope your number goes up, up, up- I'm sure it will!!!!

Thank you to all of you for your kind words and support- you are all the best!! I think we are just going to enjoy the rest of the summer and not think about any of this IVF stuff for a while and then we'll figure out if we're done for good or if we'll give it maybe one more try.

Beth it's great to hear from you!!! Missed you around here!! Sorry to hear AF is sticking around! Mine took like 10 days last time so I hear ya girl. I hope you stay on here even though you think you and DH are done with IVF. I'm guessing you decided not to keep your frosties? DH and I have 12 left and think we'll use 6. Save the last 6 if it doesn't work then maybe a surrogate one day. So we'll see. Adoption is a beautiful thing and we've always talked about that too. Hold tight to that DD of yours, she's your miracle.

Laura so you may give it another try huh?? I know what you mean about taking a break!! I'm enjoying mine.

As for me... no new baby news. I technically just passed "viability" so I am finally breathing a sigh of relief. I love her so much already it is crazy. Now if I could only win the lottery so I wouldn't have to work anymore that would be wonderful.

My Beta is 3572 today I think this is 22dpo. My Scan is booked for 5th August. I am sooo excited.....Lets hope it sticks!!

Faith ~ Hey there chicka! San Diego was great. I didn't want to leave. The weather was warm but wonderful. The ocean was incredible, so now I am back in blazing hot AZ!!! So the 24th.... that is when you will decide what the next step is??? I will be watching anxiously to see what you decide. Yes, I am going to call her Addie - I already am.

Laura ~ How you doing little lady? I am nosy also. Have you guys decided about the future? I hope you are doing well. I have been thinking of you.

Barbarella ~ How is the little momma doing? How are you feeling and is early pregnancy treating you well so far??? I can't wait for your U/S. It is honestly driving me crazy. Seems like forever.

OK girls. I had a melt down today. My girls are visiting their dad and are coming back this weekend. They have been gone for almost 6 weeks. My DH has been working until 7:30 or so every night. My mom is a drug addict and has never been there for me. My dad is grumpy and won't return my calls. My sister I think is starting to head down the same path as my mom and my other sister is normal but very busy. Well I am just so lonely and was very sad today. I started crying and couldn't stop everytime I thought about it today. I had to work all day and had tons of meetings, so I had to control it somewhat. I am just sad and wished I had some family around since we have worked so hard to have Addie. So... there's my tear in my beer. Sorry, I know I have so much to be thankful for.

Hi all- I just typed this long reply and then lost it- dang!

Donni- So sorry for how you are feeling and for all the things going on with you that you shared. You do deserve to be in a crappy mood sometimes and to feel sad and we all are here to lean on! Hope things get better and that your family is back with you soon. I sometimes feel too like I'm not allowed to be sad about our recent FETs because I have ds- so I don't deserve to ever be sad which is probably a silly way to think. If you want, I'll have a few of the beers that your tears are in for you!! I love the name Addie! I loved San Deigo too when we once visited there- glad you had a good time. Hope you are feeling better soon.

Faith- So after the 24th, you'll decide for sure, but you are thinking about a FET next month?? Since you have so many frosties, you could probably do 3-4 FETs- but hopefully you'll only need to do one!!!!! Let us know how the meeting goes. Hope all is well.

Barbarella- How are you feeling? Are you feeling sick at all- you are probably happy to feel that way, huh? I too can't wait for your u/s- I hope the time goes by quickly for you! Take care of you and your little one!!!!

Beth- Are you enjoying this terrible humid weather?!! Hope you decide to still lurk on here sometimes. Take care.

As for us, we are definitely taking the summer off. Dh and I need to work through some stuff between us before we start any new cycles or anything. We are both open to it but just aren't quite sure yet. I think I'd consider adoption but I don't think dh would so that's probably out. So I'll let y'all know whenever we decide what's next.

At work again! Boss has gone to make a cuppa....so here I am.

Laura - We transfered 2 blastocyst embryos and frozen 3, so we have 4 in the freezer. Hope you are ok

Faith - Good on you going for an FET...I will be praying for you.

Donni - I was sad to hear that you was feeling down the other day, you happy go lucky chick. Hope you are feeling better!! And remember we can all feel down whenever we want, no matter what we have or don't have...thats what I say. i am feeling a bit yukky and really tired...cannot stop yawning at work.

Beth - Hope you are ok

I have just booked a trip away with my Mum and Dad and nephew and neice we are going to France for a week.....mmmm snails for dinner!!We go the last week of August, I am wishing the time away.

I am going to phone and ask if I can have a scan next week as this wait is doing me in...Donni how many weeks were you when you had your first scan?

I was thinking the same thing Faith! Where is everyone at???

I have been out of town for work. We had a big 3 day conference. While I was out of town I was having contractions so I went to the hospital. I wasn't dialating, but continued to have contractions every 6+ minutes. When I got home I saw my normal OB and they want to take me off work. So.... I have been crying off and on. I can't afford to be off work. I am paying out of pocket for additional insurance for disability, but it isn't enough money to pay a mortgage and all my other bills. So... I don't know what I am going to do. I see the peri doc on Tues so I will wait and see what they say.

Faith ~ How did your return visit go???

Barbarella ~ Did you ever manage to get your U/S moved up? I had my first scan when I was 6w2d and they saw a flutter of a heart beat. They said her heartbeat must have just started beating.

Beth ~ Thinking of you.

Laura ~ How you doing? How's the summer treating you? I hope things are going OK with you and DH. This infertility road sure takes a toll on everything.

Hi girls,

I hope you are all doing well... our poor thread is disappearing.

Had an U/S today with the peri doc. One of the valves in Addy's heart seems thicker they said. The doc said "peculiar" so they are sending me in for a fetal echocardiogram. He thinks that everything will be OK but they want to make sure.

Also, failed my one hour glucose test. Sucky la roo. I have to go in for the 3 hour which I am sure will be fine. Just a waste of 3+ hours. My number was 197.

Other than that I have only gained 10 pounds so far and the baby is almost 3 of it. She looks so cute but they didn't get very good pictures this time.

I hope everyone else is doing well.
