I will probably do HPT(s) because I like to know what to expect. I want to take one now but I've read it takes 10 days for hCG to clear the system and I'm not there yet. So I'll probably be taking them multiple times in the days leading up to my beta.
I have a little confesson: I slipped up today and told a coworker about my IVF. She is a good friend and currently pregnant. I've been listening to her talk about her pregnancy with a little awe for the last 4 months. She was really happy for me, but I still hope it doesn't blow up in my face later on. I'm not following my own rule about NOT TELLING ANYONE!
Interview was today: Went pretty well, I think. Like I said, there's something about my application materials they must have liked a lot, because I felt pretty inexperienced in there just answering questions. I find out tomorrow if I make it to Round Two!

I just found out this week my first IVF attempt resulted in a chemical pregnancy. AF came today so I am going Monday for a u/s and hopefully to prepare for a FET. I have a question. 
I have seen several people write that their cycle for FET was cancelled. Why do they get cancelled? This stuff is all so new to me. First I went through 1st IVF learning on the way and now I need to know what to expect with FET. Hopefully I will be joining you all on the Sept/Oct board soon.

OMGness... I feel like it has been 4ever since I have been on the forum, and so much is going on. I will try personals as back as it will let me and if I miss ne one I am so sorry.

deftosmo... GL tomorrow. I pray that u have some sticky embies. So did u say u r tranferring 4?
dtao... What day was the trigger? So yeah, u may want to wait till it is out of system. Or if u have those ebay cheapies, maybe use those to see if it is out of the system yet and use the good HPT maybe on Sat or Sun. Your beta is 9/1 rirght? As for telling your friend. I did that too., I told a certain person but I regretted it later. This time i said I wont mention it to her, but she asked me what was going on with my treatment... I gacve her a blank stare and I just told her "Im still working on it". Hopefully she got the hint that I am keeping the info at a minimal. Its ok, you will go back to her with positive results. As for the interview, glad it went well. SOunds like a good year for you!! Good Luck hun.

Hey everyone!!! I just got AF yesterday and will go in on Monday morning for b/w and u/s to see if I can start BCP's. I will start stimming in September sometime!!! This is my 4th IVF cycle and probably last one. My insurance only covers 4 ER and so far we haven't had enought left to freeze. Both of my tubes are blocked, I have PCOS and I have poor egg quality. I am hoping that this cycle will give me a miracle!!!! It is very heartbreaking to me that I can't give my DH a baby. He would make such a good daddy. What makes it even worse is that he is perfectly healthy..it is all me. Please everyone pray for us!!! I will be praying for all of u!!!

Deftonesmo – GOOD LUCK tomorrow!!!!! Wishing you lots of sticky dust! If your weather is anything likes ours will be tomorrow (rainy all day) it will be a good day to relax and read or nap.

Bei – I haven’t had any joint pain, just headaches and a sharp stabbing pain right under my belly button a few times a day. Not sure if either are related to the Lupron. Are you having any other problems (fatigue, fever, etc)? I’d call your RE and let them now just in case it is the Lupron. That may be a mild side effect of it and it will pass.
Lisa10 – We would love to have you! So sorry about your chemical pregnancy, but glad to see that you are moving forward. How many snowbabies do you have and how many do you think you will transfer? FET was easier and a lot of clinics have really good success rates with them. Cancellations have to do with many factors. The most common one I hear is about the e2 levels. I hope you get good news on Monday. Welcome!

bei... I dis get a real bad leg pain when I was on Lupron... and I read somewhere on the web about Pain during Lupron... and yes, I forgot why, but it is common. But if it is real bad, then u may want to mention it to your RE.

I received a huge package yesterday with tons of medications. When I opened it I felt really intimidated. On Tuesday I will get my calendar and then I will know what to take when and most important we will have our injection training - never gave one injection to me or someone before.

Hi everyone!
Sorry I have not been doing a good job at keeping up. I will have to go back and read everyone's posts, I guess I have just been lazy lately, and tired as usual.
I did not hear from the clinic this past week regarding my protocol. They said they needed to get an FET date from the lab. My guess is I will hear from them next week, for now though, I stay on 20 units of lupron and I am taking estrace pills 3 times per day.
For a while, my lupron side effects seemed to go away, but the bruising and major bad headaches have returned. I am not sure if it is because I added the estrace, but my head is pounding! I am also finding it hard to remember to take a pill 3 times a day. I ended up making an excel checksheet and I taped it to a kitchen cabinet. This way I can put a check when I take a pill and hopefully I won;t forget any or take too many because I think I might have forgotten one, DH said it looked very "clinical."
I am excited to be potentially less than a month from this FET. I gotta tell you, I was getting sick of hearing "Everything happens for a reason" when I kept getting delayed, but I truly believe it now. I am going to tell you guys something I haven't told almost anyone...it is CRAZY! This past weekend, the day before dd's big b-day luau, I got a facebook message from someone who said they were looking for their brothers and sisters, and they claimed their dad's name was my dad! INSANE, right? It was, and it caused an extreme amount of stress on my body, I couldn't sleep, I was having chest pains, I was terrified of talking to my dad (which went fine by the way, and he confirmed that it is in fact possible that I have a half-sibling out there that I have not known about for my entire 28 years of life), and this all happened 2 days after what would have been my august transfer date! Talk about lucky that I got delayed, because I am certain I would have gotten a bfn.
Now that I think about it, maybe that is why my headaches came back this week...lol
