Jen!!!! - Glad to see you back and what a time you have had. All sounds very exciting!!!! Shame you and your DF will have to live apart for a while but sounds a great opportunity and sure will be worth it.

Nicki - Glad work great about treatment. What a load off your mind1 Think we pretend we don't care what they think but it only adds to the massive amount of stress!!!! Hope DH is better soon

Lola - Hope the abdo pain clears up quick and you are ok. Could it be bowel? Sending you loads of PMA PMA PMA PMA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lis - Hope you have managed to come to a decision about Rome. How's your DH feeling now? and you? x

Lucy - Time flies - can't believe 10 years have gone in a flash and likewise, a big cutie bouncing baby (or 2 - not that I am greedy!!! ha ha) will round it off nicely!!

Jen - Great to have you back, glad your alright, we missed you on here. Wow DF getting headhunted and you 2 moving, how do you feel about moving? Are you OK with it. It may be a bit strange only seeing DF at weekends for a while but it won't be for long, you'll be in your new house before you know it...! Skiing again eh? Something I have never done, my brothers a big Ski and Snowboard fan and keeps telling me I should go..! Anyway Hun glad your OK.! You'll be busy busy now then..!

Nicki - Thats great that your boss is cool about your tmt. You must feel loads better that its sorted and she knows, I feel a bit bad about lying to my boss, but hey, its done now...! Hope your DH is feeling better, has it passed onto you now? Its great to hear you sounding soo happy, I'm 25 so I have the BIG 30 to look forward to (sorry about the BIG)

Kate - I too hope this is THE one, for both of us. Is this your second cycle?

hi all

just a quick note to say all went with the consultant. she just said the last cycle went very well even if the result wasn't positive and they intend continuing with the short protocol and same dosage. i should be cycling at the start of april once af arrives. so, once more into the breach, dear friends.......

Thanks for all the support for the move...deep down i know it will be okay, it's just the planning and stressful moving that will be difficult...AND looking for a house!!!! especially whe n it's 350 miles away....Anway i am not m oaning just reserved worry! Ce la Vie... PMA PMA PMA I am excited and know it will be a good move as the pace of life is slower...esp if we have a little one! Have just started AF ( only 3 days late this time) and i am like you have suggested wearing towels and big Briget Jones Pants ( sexy!!!!) so will see what the flow is like this and next month...Was thinking of going for ivf at end of April instead of May but will cross that bridge nearer the time. As i am on
a short cycle i can just phone them on the day of AF and get scanned day 3 start stimming day 3 or 4...Oh what to do what to do???

I will be around and posting when i can Girls, hope you don't mind that !!! I go away next friday for 10 days and will try and catch you sometime during the rest of the week

Hi to Lucy, Kate, Bobs, Macca and anyone else I’ve missed.

Went for some more bloods and scan today.

I have high e2 levels and a nice amount of follies but still a bit small. Going to have to do some coasting (stop stims) for them to grow and to prevent another OHSS.

Going back on Monday to see when EC is going to be. Anyway it’ll be next week!

I took 1,5 weeks off work starting Wednesday, so hopefully wont have to worry about work during the process of EC and ET and part of 2ww.

How are the ladies a-flame today? Its the weekend, thank god! What a week. Its wierd, the weeks seem to go by so fast yet my cycle seems to be endlessssss.
Had my "lining-is-bueno?" scan thursday - all ok and next scan on Monday. If thats ok then its ET wed, thurs or fri. Want monday to come double quick so I can get stuff sorted. Am pretty excited now, hope my cryobabes are getting ready for their relocation to Chez Mama, rug up little dudes!

MLG fellow cycler! Glad all is going well - glad you've sorted some solid time off, you need to rest! Y'know, I 've been so focused on the ET completely forgot about the evil 2ww

I have a ****ing cold!!! Thanks to DH!!! Arghhhh!!! I feel rough!!!!
So sleep tonight and tomorrow, dont wanna be ill for our mini holiday next week.

Jen, lifestyle change might be what ur body needs, and I hope thats right, apart from my cold I feel on top of the world and so glad the move paid off.

Hi all

Lola your so nearly there, good luck with your scan on Monday. Im on the suppressing stage at the moment. Waiting for AF now, due next week, then go for day 4 blood test to check all ok. Then ET is about 3 weeks after that. it’s a very long cycle!!!!

Jen what a big change you are going to have over the next 6 months, they say change is as good as a rest. Bet DH is really chuffed that he got head hunted. That will be tough starting your treatment without him there but we are all here to hold your hand every step of the way. 6 days until your ski holiday bet your counting the days.

How’s your cold Nicki?

Julie I haven’t been on the board since your wedding anniversary glad you had a great evening and DH spoilt you, bless him.

Rachel that’s great news that you are starting your treatment very shortly

MLG my jabs are going ok, I feel a lot better this time round, early days yet I suppose. Not one bruise yet either. Hope I haven’t spoken to soon. Cant believe your nearly at EC stage, time has flown by.

sorry to everyone that I havent mentioned, always seem short of time at the moment.

I applied for a new job, same company just a different job, I did what Nicki did and was honest about the treatment, it went down like a lead balloon at the interview, however I have got the job, not sure when I start but it will be in the next 4 weeks, talk about lousy timing, slap bang in the middle of my FET

at least I will have something new to occupy my mind and the hours are a lot more flexible, so I should be able to fit any scans or blood tests in before work and just take holiday for ET and few days after, that way no one may even know what im doing. The first thing they will know is when I announce my BFP (pma pma)
