Thanks for all of the welcomes....this is my first attempt at IVF. My husband and I went through 4 months of clomid with all BFN, after TTC for the last 3 years. We did one IUI-unsuccessful. And now moving on to IVF. I am really nervous reading all of the things that can happen, but trying to be very hopeful that it will work for us. We have unexplained infertility, I am 31 and dx as healthy, and the same for my husband at 30. We have two doggies....those are our babies. No children or previous pregnancies between the two of us. We are hoping this works !!!!!

We- that rocks! Cant wait to hear the results friday from the ultrasound.
Lyd- so when does your re release you to a regular obgyn? Ours was going to be 12 weeks. Are you just dying....tue next ultrasound seems 100 years away!
Janis- welcome. Good luck. This is a journey that is so much easier with the support of these ladies. They can.celebrate the little steps and mourn with you on things that sony go your way, because they have all been there and know what every piece feels like.

LauraN, thanks for asking - yes I have a long way to go to my u/s still it's not till 1/27. And with no symptoms it is a bit hard to wait. Although I should be thankful for no nausea. As nausea is no fun!

Lyd-I know God will only give us what we can handle although that still feels so far away. My DH has two children that have lived with us fir many years and I have my one. So we are really hoping for just one little healthy bean although we are greatful for whatever God has in our plans. That would make us a great big family of 6. Carrying twins is a bit scary to me. Needless to say, we would have to try and sell our house and buy a new home if we have multiples. Lots to think about.

LaureN, I will be thinking about you on Tuesday, I agree this is the best way for closure. My best friend in Alabama tried to wait for everything to happen naturally and she was almost hospitalized. Said her temperature spiked up to 102 degrees, dehydrated and she underwent a serious infection. Luckily the antibiotics kicked in when they did, but I know you are making the right decision in this case and the testing will provide you with a conclusion.
