carebear110b - sorry you feel down...but your symptoms sound like mine from last year...I later did have a BFP.

rockrat71 - your right about that PIO...I think I have some residual pain from last year...I promise you that behind felt like someone had played tic tac toe...and I lost

!!

I can't wait to hear about all the good news Saturday. I have b/w and u/s scheduled for tomorrow at 8:00. I feel like AF is coming..yuck. I start stimming tomorrow with Bravelle and Menupor (sp??). The dosage may change at the last minute so I'll update later.

Jen - I actually started my PIO last night. I did 1/2 cc last night, 1/2 cc tonight, and starting tomorrow and on I do 1 cc. It wasn't too bad, and doesn't hurt today. So either my DH didn't do it right or it was because it was 1/2 cc. My boobs are sore today, is that from the PIO?

great tip about using a heating pad before / after the shots each evening - sounds really so nice and comforting -- makes me want to do them all over again! - just kidding...

I usually did my shots at 9pm - just picked a time and stuck to it...the first time around, the needles were quite big at the end -- my DH did those for me - what a guy -- this time, everything was with small needles...

I too "only" have 2 that fertilized -- I had of course hoped for more, but my doctor said in such a positive voice that 2 were developing really nicely and we'll do the transfer on Saturday, he put me into a positive frame of mind. These embryos are really small miracles in themselves, don't you think?

Last try there was only 1 to transfer - but it felt so special to have it inside of me. And, my husband seemed to feel it too. Too bad it didn't last - but I hope this time it will.

get some good sleep tonight and tomorrow night -

Amy, I love what you say about your embryos. I feel the same way. It would probably seem silly to someone who wasn't going through IVF but I look at my picture of my embryos and get all teary-eyed. That's me and DH in there in that ball of cells! I just see the potential life and it really gets to me. Sniff sniff. I'm way too emotional from all these hormones! I just hope we all get the miracles we hope for! You girls are so great!

Hello Ladies,

I had my ER on Wed Jun 27, Got 12+1 eggs, since ER I have been very sore, the doc said they punctured a lot of small follicles & I have been told to be on strict bed rest for 7 days bcoz of OHSS. Since yday & today all I have done is sleep & sleep.

Today I received my fert report, 11 fertlized, And my ET is on sat 8.30 AM, I am very uncomfortable right now hope would be better by sat for ET. I am quite bloated....no idea when the bloating reduces.

Kerri, Jen, Amy GOOD LUCK For ur ET.

Laurie - Good Luck with the blastocyst tranfer, how many r u planning to transfer.

Ladies - How many are u considering to transfer 2 or 3 ???

Brandi - all I can say is that I have a really big smile on my face. I'm sure yours is even bigger!

I wish you really all the best that you get a BFP from the doctor on Monday after your blood test.
Any tips for surviving the 2WW?? I know it was really difficult at times, but you did it, and whatever you did seems to have worked! wow - so great.

MyBaby - hope the soreness goes away soon and that you are already feeling a bit better today!...Congratulations on the fantastic fertilization rate! The bloating will probably take "forever" to go away. Just keep yourself comfortable and catch up on your sleep and reading and daytime TV watching....
Was interesting to read all the "treatment histories" - my medications were different, but the timing was all the same.
Good luck on Saturday with the transfer!

Rockrat - how's your 2WW going? It's an emotional time and all those hormones just magnify things...Wishing you all the best.

Sorry I have not been posting lately, we have been on vacation. I to broke down and bought two hpt. Took one Wednesday evening, positive:) and took one this morning, positive:). So trying really really hard not to get my hopes up. I got my bw moved to July 3. What are the chances my positive is from the meds? I did my trigger shot on June 14, and the only thing I have been on since the retrieval is PIO shots, estrace and pre-natal vitamins. I had retrieval on June 16 and transfer June 19.

Carebear seems like we are in the same boat, Monday and Tuesday will take forever to get here.

Congratulations Carebear and Lynn!!! Sounds like y'all are pregnant!!! YEA!!!!! You could call you doctors and tell them you took a test- they MIGHT tell you to come on in early to have b/w.
Well- we did our first PIO shot last night- it went GREAT!! We iced for 10 full minutes, and I asked DH to count, but he tricked me and shot me at count two and I didn't even know it was in. Then I sat on a heating pad for 10 minutes and today I hardly feel anything. I can do this.....
Kerri- My breasts are very sore, especially the nipples. I don't know why- until yesterday, I didn't have any hormones in my system yet. I also had a massive hot flash in the grocery store yesterday. I was clammy and sweaty and shaky. I had to sit down for a few minutes while it passed. I had only taken one Estrace that morning,, which is supposed to REDUCE hot flashes, so I'm very confused, but am okay now.

I can't believe that there are 5 of us transferring tomorrow. I'm kinda glad it ended up being on a Sat., because my DH won't have to take off work and will be able to be around the whole two days of bed rest. It is, however, a double-edged sword. I know he will pamper me, but I also know he won't think of letting me out of bed to check the message board. Oh well.

ok so i gave in and tested again with first morning urine.....BFP again!! this cant be a fluke right?? i mean i 3 days away from bt this has to be it!!! to all who left congrats THANK YOU SOOOOOO MUCH, lynn congrats to yu too!i called an left my a message on my doc office machine so ill wait and see what they want me to do...mon needs to come NOW!!!
