Hello

Sonu - I have been having Af pains as well today - keep going to toilet (due to excess fluid intake) and just feel so relieved each time that AF has not arrived - LOL

This is one hell of a crazy roller coaster - I was even scheming with DH today saying I was going to ring clinic and say I ahd to goaway on business wednesday and thursday next week so could they test me tuesday - I would be 11dpt3dt - what do you think?????

Off to bed now any way knackered - not had a siesta today - going back to work next week is going to kill me

Take care of those BFP's ladies

Kiesha - any news on ER date yet ??

Catch you all tomorrow

Love and super sticky baby dust

Ladies, please accept my sincere apology for not giving you more details after I promised I would. When I got home at 6 (had a meeting until 5 yesterday!!!), DH and I decided to go out to celebrate our little success. WHen I got home, I was dead tired. It took me 1.5 seconds to fall asleep. Are you guys feeling exhausted these days? Little chores or steps tire me so badly.

So, here are the details. So my beta from yesterday was 275 and can I mention that it's BFP again? I am so happy! When I asked if they can tell whether it's twins or singleton, they said it's too early to tell. They will be able to tell more if my beta rises by more than 75% by tomorrow. I will be going in again for my 3rd beta next week, and then my first u/s one week after my 3rd beta. Do your clinics do that? I feel like they do way more bloodwork than other clinics...but I guess it's good in a way?

I have been feeling so bloated lately, especially in the evenings. I look like I am 5 months pregnant or something. I called to let them know about my condition and they are trying to have me looked at tomorrow after my blood test. I think I may have OHSS too. Also, I am running out of clothes that I can fit in. So, today, I went to Target and bought a pair of maternity jeans!!! I am so excited to try them on later.

Dexter IT's so nice to hear from you again. We sure miss you here. Please hang in there and BEST of luck to your next cycle. Please keep us informed as to when you start.

Christin Congrats again to your BFP! Isn't it exciting or what? Did you guys do something fancy to celebrate? We went to a steak house and DH had a glass of champagne and I had sparling water. It was great! How's your bloatedness? I know it's horrible...it makes my back hurt.

Kelly You are 5 weeks already? WOW! In about 2 more weeks, you will be able to listen to your baby's heart beat! I am so looking forward to it myself, but I still have to wait for 6 more weeks, I think.

Kelley A big congratulations to you for your BFP!!! It's so awesome that we got three BFPs in one day! That's so totally unheard of. I think this thread is indeed lucky. God is watching over us here. When's your next beta test? How's your OHSS? Yeah, please drink loads of gatorade. That's what I am doing now.

sonu911 Hey, how are you? Based on what I was told, your daily physical activity will not impact your implantation. Actually, some very light exercise like walking is good for circulation in the tummy. My RE actually recommended that I did that. I also remember asking if going up and down the stairs was ok two days after transfer and my RE said it's perfectly fine. So not to worry. I also agree that the discharge is a good sign unless there's some foul smell to it. How's your rash?

Keisha when's your ER? It looks like you are responding very well this time. I am so glad for you. Please keep us posted re: your progress.

Carolyn I know! The 2ww was killing me. Let us know if your little lie work. hehehe.... good luck!

Carolyn - Good scheme!! Little harmless lies won't hurt anyone...after it is done with a pur intention :D

Lala - It is so nice to hear from you. Thanks for the concern, dear.
Keisha - Hope you feel better...and get to hear the news of your ER soon.

My rashes are still there but not growing. Actually they are not rashes but kind of pimples. This is due hormonal imbalance....and may be a good sign  Discharge didn't occur again...My doc says it may be due to progesterone tablets that I am inserting through vagina. Some secretion is there after an hour of insertion...but the white discharge I had two days before was strange which caused the worry.

Thanks to you all ladies...I have planned some shopping for my DH tomorrow, so after ET I will be going out of the house for the first time. I did not do anything like this in my last two cycles.

Hi everyone. I am sorry for not responding to any posts the last day or so. After Wednesday around lunch time, my OHSS has progressively gotten worst. I have been laying down ever since. My stomach is sticking out about 2-3 inches. I can't walk, stretch, stand up straight....miserable. I have broken down crying a couple of times bc I am so miserable. With the exception of getting up to poddy (when I actually have to...bc it seems like my bladder isn't wanting to empty like it used to), I just lay down, and haven't been on the computer.

I am in the process of getting dressed to go back to the RE today. They are doing more blood work, an ultra sound, and they are going to check on the status of the OHSS. This is so miserable girls.

Sorry for the gloom note.

I will update yall around lunch time (4 hours or so).

Hey there! I just got back from seeing the RE. My new beta is 540 (9dp5dt). So it more than doubled in two days. In fact it went up by almost 170%. He will keep me as a patient for at least the first 11 weeks (trimester), and will play it by ear after that.

I go back next Friday for them to do more bloodwork and ultrasounds. By next week, we will know if we have mulitple baby sacks in there!

In terms of the OHSS. They want me to drink LOTS of V8 (regular sodium not low sodium) and Gateraid. They said I need the sodium fromV8 and the electrolytes from the Gate. In addition, I am taking a sinus pill call Chlortromoton (spelling) every 4 hours to reduce the fluid. The doc explained that chances are, all of the bloating will not go away, but the discomfort will within a few weeks. I just wish the few weeks ended today. But, this comes with the territory I guess.

Keisha
So trigger tonight?

Sonu
I am glad that your rash isn't really a rash, although none of us like acne, but I think pregnancy brings on stuff like that!! So good news I am sure.

Kelley
I am so excited for you and DH. We weren't able to really celebrate b/c I needed to come home to lay down on Wedneday b/c of my discomfort. But we did go get a nice breakfast together after our big news!

Kelly
How are you holding up? When does your vacation start? Vacation would be great for me! Although, I woudn't be up for sight seeing.

Christin - I wish you all the luck in the world and will pray to God that you start feeling better soon. My clinic is correct...wednesday testing results in twins quite often. You ladies have sent such a strong baby dust to India...that I am already feeling the vibes. All my ten-ten fingers of hands and toes are crossed... :D

I went for a walk today evening, helped a bit in the kitchen (I am with my husband's parents and brother's family) .....Feeling good  Thanks Lala!!

I think most of the ladies in this forum who got BFP are first timers.

Love to all.....

Hi Mommies and Mommies-to-be!

sonu911 - About the discharge thing, I'm having it too and I always to forget to ask my RE because I'm so into my little eggies. I have another appointment in the morning and ask...I'll ask both ways before and after egg retreival. I'm glad you are feeling better and the rashes are getting taking care of....we are on a roller coaster ride, right?

KM0803 - You did a great job on the list! I know you are enjoying your baby bump. I hope to be like you and not necessarily get the true symptoms but a nice round belly :P ! But want to ask a question, to all our mommies, has anyone boobies gotten larger? I am so scared that mine will get bigger and smother me in my sleep :P ...I have DD right now and I so anxious about that!

Kelley - I'm glad you are doing okay with the OHSS. I am already thinking of different ways of getting more blood tests (if I get my BFP)
and ultrasounds....too devious, am I not? !!

Carolyn - I have the same thoughts as you and I haven't made it past retreival yet. I think you should go for it.....we are all waiting to hear the good news!

LaLa - Wooooohoo that is an excellant beta number. Too jealous that you get all that testing. I'm going to mention that in my evil scheme to get more testing if I get my BFP

Christin - Hot dog...your beta is awesome!!! Sweetie I am so sorry about that hateful OHSS. Try to rest up and drink all the right fluids. You know you are doing the right thing, you have that great beta number to prove it!

As for me, my boobs are killing me (talking alot about boobs tonight, huh :P )!!! My tummy is much bigger than the last time I did this. Trust me, I am releive to have these symptoms rather than not responding. I have new cocktail tonight. They lowered my dosage wednesday only to amp them back up tomorrow and in the morning. Now, we are looking at Tuesday. Girls, wish I had a firm date but my PCOS throws everything off balance. I'll let you know in the morning!

Carolyn
You are right...it is amazing what our brains will do to us when we are trying to go to sleep. In terms of the beta...you don't count the day of the ER or the day of the ET when you are writing out that little formula thingy. I tested myself with a HPT on 6dp5dt. Then went to clinic on 7dp. How many more days until you test? You have 5 days or so huh?

Did you call the clinic and give them your little fib? Have you convinced DH to do a HPT?

In terms of the laying on my side business...it is virtually impossible for me to do anything other than sit up in bed (errr...sofa) with my knees bent...but that is bc of my little OHSS friend. Just prior to this getting bad, I was finding it harder and harder to sleep anyway other than on my back though.

Sonu
I am gladding you are finding things to do to keep you busy and relieve some of your discomfort. I bet your in-laws are treating you like a queen...that is awesome! Only a few more days. You can do it!

Keisha
It makes me so happy to hear you are responding so well. I know you and DH are relieved. I can't wait to hear what your RE says next week.

Kelly, Lala, and Kelley
How are you ladies?

I am about to head out to go get my hair cut, so I will chat with everyone later.

Well ladies, just when we thought we were out of the woods. My re lowered my dosage Wednesday because he thought my estrogen was too high. Fridays appointment showed that it had dipped somewhat. So, my cocktail of menupor and bravelle was doubled in the evening and morning. I learned Saturday that it was working but estrogen was still low. He said we may have to cancel but wouldn't know until after this last dosage tonight. I explained to the nurse tha I was short on meds because of the dosages were changed, short menopur. I told her twice what I needed. She gave me the emergency meds, so I thought. I went home (an hour and a half away) and you guessed it she had given me the wrong meds. I hop in the car and call them to tell them of the mistake and would anyone be there when I got there. The nurse put me on hold twice. The original who gave me the wrong meds came onlne and said that she had given me what I asked for. AND that it didn't matter if they were wrong because they were cancelling me anyway because my bloodwork from this morning showed that my estrogen had not improved that much! She further went to say that I would need to come back out there today and bring the meds back or they would charge me for them. I couldn't believe all that she was telling me and burst into tears. She sounded so cold and annoyed. I was able to get out that I was not driving out for that and hung up. I felt like someone had knocked the wind out of me. I couldn't beleive we had made such great progress only to be cancelled at this point. If the meds were left alone, I know we could've made it to retreival. My estrogen had only gone from 980 to 1800 in two days. I've seen other ladies estrogen much higher. I called back to have the RE tell me what was going on. The receptionist transferred me back to the rude nurse and by this time I am hysterical and driving. She denied me being rude and would not transfer me back to the doctor. She wanted to argue that I was in the wrong about the meds and I finally yelled at her that I didn't give a damn about the meds but I wanted to talk to the doctor. I left my number and called my husband crying even more, if thats possible. He was so angry and wanted me to pull over but I just wanted to make it home. I could hear tears in his voice too, that made me cry more. I feel so much like I let him down this time around. He called the REs office and let it rip because I soon got a call from my RE. He was livid that the nurse had told me that over the phone and in the manner in which she did. He apologize quite a bit and explained what happened with my estrogen. He really feels that this can work for us. I beleive I will be blessed with a child but I need to take a break for a while. This one has really knocked me down.

You are a great group of ladies and I will be staying to watch your progress. You guys give me hope.

Baby dust to you all!

OMG Keisha-----I'm teary eyed reading this!!! I'm so sorry. I've read some other clinic horror stories on the board but this one takes the cake.

How unprofessional of the nurses and receptionist...totally totally unprofessional and uncaring. This is unacceptable behavior by anyone in the medical field. I would switch clinics when you're ready to get back to it.

You are paying them----you are the patient!! They are suppose to be there for you! Warm, caring, helpful and sympathetic. It does not sound like they are.

Do NOT blame yourself or think you let you DH down. You can not go down that unhealthy mental path. We are dealing with what god gave us....this is nothing you personally did wrong. You've been thru a lot today and have lots to think about, but this is not over! There are plenty / tons of success stories I've ready from gals in your position exactly!

Do not give up!! :)

Keisha

I am feeling for uyou and Dh at this difficult time - the way you have been treated is outrageous - you should put in a formal complaint and then find a new clinic - going through this procedure you need care and compassion - not anger and agression - insensitive old b*tch

Take some time to unwind and prepare yourself for the converation with clinic - and let them know you are the patient and will not tolerate this level of behaiour

Take care my darling - love and hugs to (((((you)))) and ((((DH)))))x
