Hi everyone,

Dolly, don't give up hope just yet, I really hope it's not it for you. (well done for holding out on the HPT - I was beginning to feel like I was the only one! I hate those things, they give me nothing but bad news so I think I will make it.)
Angela, while you are very naughty, I agree it sounds promising! Go girl!
Staci - are you there? Hope everything's alright, think of you everytime I see the news!
3 more days till AF due, 5 more days till I test (hopefully)... should just be able to hold out... but I just feel like everything's on hold till we get the news. Like, my whole life is just spent on hold while we wait to get pg. Today I'm not depressed, just pi**ed off! Well, makes a change.

Jaye.

Dolly,

Hope it is not really AF. But good for you staying away from the EVIL  hpts. I had bleeding too, but still got a BFP on my test date.

Jaye,

Only 5 more days til testing for you? That's great! And good job with no hpts. I did do one the morning before my blood test, though. Just to make those last few hours go a little quicker.

Angela,

Have you stayed away from the hpts? If not, are they still as promising? Your test date is very soon, so sending lots of luck your way.

Gayle,

Are you on this thread too? So you're testing tommorrow. BEST OF LUCK!!!! How are you feeling?

I have to admit that the bleeding has continued every couple of days for me, and now we are getting nervous. I'm hoping to test again tommorrow to find out what is going on.

I keep meaning to post this

CONGRATULATIONS to Janem and Pixiegini on their twins!!!!

I have 14 month old twins and although the pregnancy was hard and looking after them still takes up almost every minute of my time and every last bit of energy they are the most fantastic amazing wonderful thing that has every happened to me. The best advice I can give you is really take care of yourself during the pregnancy and rest, rest, rest as you don't want to deliver them too early.

Alicia
Fingers crossed that your bleeding is nothing to worry about, although I am sure you will worry about something or other until the day you hold your little baby in your arms!!!

Gayle
Good luck tomorrow.

Jaye and Angela
Hold on in there the 2ww will end honest and fingers crossed for 2 BFP's

Wendy
I hope you are doing ok I have been thinking about you.

Hi girls. I haven't forgotten about you! First week back at work and have not stopped then went camping at the weekend so first chance now to catch up with my August buddies. To be honest, I have been feeling a bit low too with the -ive. It's a week since the result now and only now starting to get over it a bit. So, sorry if I've been neglecting the ones who gave me so much support........

Alicia - hope you're taking good care of yourself. You have been an inspiration to me as well and I only hope next time I get some embies to freeze as you have shown how successful it can be. Thanks for all your advice, you've been a star. I wish you a long and healthy pregnancy.

Ang - don't you remember me saying you seemed like such a strong candidate for a BFP. Of course you're pg! We're just waiting for the confirmation. Hope you're not working too hard. x

Staci - I so hope the latest hurricane hasn't passed your way. Have been thinking about you - please get in touch and let us know you're ok. Like you, am going to try naturally for a few months and try IUI. Anyone have any experience with this?

Well, pretty tired now. Do you think, once things get back to 'normal', did I really go through all that?! It seems like a different world already, it really is all consuming. Good luck all the 2wwers - it does end eventually and hopefully in BFPs for you all.
love Jeanie xxxxx :(

Hi Jeannie,

I wrote an update on the post with my name but DH and I made it through the hurricane and are fine....just rather frazzled at this point!

Just trying to catch up with all the posts here. I know what you mean about looking back and feeling like it was in a different world that you underwent treatment. I look back and I honestly just can't believe I actually went through it. It seems like I was a different person or it was a really long time ago if that makes any sense. We actually asked my Dr. about doing IUI after the failed IVF. We knew the chances would be less and I knew she had advised IVF as our only hope initially but we were willing to give it a shot if there was any hope rather than go through IVF again. My clinic said it would be a waste of our time and money since DH's count is too low. Needless to say, the chances of things working naturally for us are very, very slim. I guess one never knows though. I have heard of IUI working for a number of people (I think it usually takes several tries though unless you are very lucky). I guess it depends on what your particular issue is.

Anyway, I'm so tired after not being able to sleep for the last few nights due to the storm that I feel like I'm not making any sense whatsoever here and had better stop typing and go to bed!

Will have to catch up with where everyone else is in the AM.

Bye for now,

Staci

Hi Girls

Well first things first Dolly please dont give up hope yet hunny as alicia said she had bleeding and still got a BFP im thinking of you and hoping so much that yout test day brings brilliant news .

Jeanie hunny i think you were right i have still been at the hpt its a bit like once you start on em you cant stop  but i have been testing once a day since around day 9 i think, all have been faint but positive until this morning im on day 12 now and i got a very very strong positive this morning i really cant believe it i so thought on week one that i would get a negative in fact i was positive it had not worked but looks like its turned out totally different to what i thought, my Dp has been moaning at me the amount of money i must have spent on the hpt's bless him i made him go round the chemist each day and he did well whoever decided to put a chemist on the corner of my road its total temptation that.
any exscuse me

Gayle good luck for tomorrow your test date i hope you get a BFP
i shall be looking out for your post.

I've just been reading up on the ACBs thread ... and I may be repeating myself, as some of the postings seem a little fragmented these days ..

Wendy ... I hope your hospital apptmt yesterday was fruitful ? ... you're back at work today ... hope you're not too knackered.

Jeanie, Chubbs, Mandy and Candy .... My heart goes out to you girls. I am so disappointed to hear your news and hope you slowly begin to feel a little better and can look forward. Candy - hope you feel more positive after your mtg on 11th. Jeanie .. hope the camping trip took your mind off things a little. All my love to you all xx

Hi Gang, thanks for all your words of support.

I really think it is over for us this time. The bleeding hasn't been heavy - but the pains have been just the worst (more painful even than the m/c I had at 8 weeks). I have used the old ovulation predictor test trick to test early before (on my last nat pg) and they worked so I tried it this morning and nothing... so I have decided not to have my gestone jab tonight - I can't see the point.

Ang - I am so glad to hear that your line has got darker... that is fantastic news.

Jaye - not long now. Are you still managing to fight the temptation of those HPTs?!

Love to everyone else - hope you're all well

Dolly,

I'm so sorry to hear that you've got the bad AF pains. What a disappointment - and then to be in pain on top of it. I hope you are doing okay and that the next few days/weeks bring some relief to the feelings you must be having. Thank you for being my cycle buddy.

Angela,

Congratulations! Yes, the hpt is very bad, but it looks like you've really got a +ve. See you soon on the other side (assuming I last that long over there  )!

Good luck to Gayle, Jaye, Alison, and Alette! And to Jools in Italy - hope you are enjoying your trip and that it is a success.

Hi Everyone

Dolly - I think you should still take your injection until you get your blood test at the clinic, remember there are always stories about people having bleeding throughout pregnancy.

Sandra - Hope you are doing ok, you are quite right to take some holidays, try and get some time to relax.

Angela, sounds like you will get a confirmation of your good news on Thursday. Thats great, I am really pleased for you.

Staci, glad to hear you are ok, have been worrying about you

Ellie, thanks for the thoughts, its so great that you have twins, I think that would be great. A lot of work but still great.

I am doing ok, back at work today, glad to be back to normality but was really glad when 5o'clock came, a good few people at work know about what happened so at least I don't have to put on too brave a face although I am actually feeling better.

The hospital appointment went well yesterday as well, my hcg is down to 18 so are not too concerned about me. We should be able to do a FET again this year maybe November or December and it qualifies for NHS funding which helps. Need to go back on the 28th to discuss natural or medicated, normally I always have the drugs as my periods are so terrible I take the pill constantly for a while but I can't go back on it while hcg is still in your system. Hopefully even being pregnant for such a short time will have helped the endometriosis making me not need the pill. Like a lot of others there is no great likely hood of a natural conception but might as well try.

Am shattered today so off to put my feet up.

Dolly ..... as we all know, bleeds don't necessarily mean the worst ... but if you know that this is truly AF I send you all my love and hugs. Hope to hear some positive news from you later.

Hi Gang, I have already posted my news on the August testers thread - but thought I was just add it here as well. I phoned up my clinic and they said because I had a 3 day transfer I could test today - and as predicted it is a BFN for me... so no surpise there.

I actually don't feel at all upset (yet!) - just feel like it has all been a waste of time - 55 injections and nothing to show for it apart from a v. bruised bum!

But I said from the beginning that I'm in it for the long haul - so we will be back at it again as soon as we can - I reckon probably around December / January. We have just booked a 2 week holiday to the States for the beginning of November (NY and Florida) - so lots to look forward to.

Angela, did you call your clinic yet? When do you go in for your scan.

Jaye, good luck for Saturday? How have you been. Hope the days have been flying by for you.

Love to all
