Congratulations on your scan Sue!! Sounds fantastic. Don't think about your response being poor or average. Think of it being a response and any response has got to be something fantastic. Just to let you know though, I had 7 on one side and 2 on the other so my right side must be extrememly bloody lazy LOL

Colleen, it's almost time for your scan. I know its going to be really hard for you while your guy is away but you can do it, and you always have us here to lean on. You'll be ok!! Oceans of babydust to you to!!

Randa, nice to see you back. Fantastic news that your treatment is going so well. When is your ec date? Will you be crossing over into October? I read somewhere else on here about your job as well. That's fantastic that you have something that makes you feel so positive and good. That's half the battle to anything in life. Good for you!!

Hi everyone,

Great to hear from so many of you. THANK YOU SO MUCH for all your good wishes. Have just got back from EC, so am feeling a bit woozy - but all in all it was far better than I thought.

The clinic said there were 25 eggs.

They were slightly worried about OHSS, but just have to make sure I drink lots of water. DH was worried that he might have fluffed his 'one line' in this drama, but seems like it went okay! Bless!!

Will find out tomorrow how many embies we have.

Hand eye coordination seems worse than usual! so will finish here but was really excited to read all your news.

SORRY I HAVE NOT WRITTEN BUT I HAVE BEEN IN THE HOSPITAL. AS YOU ALL KNOW I RETRIEVED 41 EGGS AND 30 FERTILIZED. ALONG THE WAY I DEVELOPED SEVERE OHSS & DEHYDRATED TO THE POINT THAT THEY COULD NOT FIND MY VEINS. WE HAD TO CANCEL THE TRANSFER WHICH I WAS DEVASTATED ABOUT BUT WE HAVE 6 LOVELY BLASTOCYSTS WAITING TO GO BACK IN...........
I AM NOT SURE WHAT HAPPENED BUT I AM ALITTLE UPSET AS I FEEL I WAS DEFINATELY SUPPOSED TO BE SLOWED DOWN. I HAVE BEEN SPEAKING TO ALOT OF GIRLS AT THE CLINIC AND I WENT THIS AM AND THE SAME THING HAPPENED TO THIS GIRL AND SHE HAD THE FET AND IS NOW PREGNANT.
I GUESS IT COULD HAVE BEEN WORSE AS I DID HAVE 6 TO FREEZE AND I AM PRAYING EVERYDAY THAT THIS WORKS..........

HOPE YOU ARE ALL DOING WELL AND ARE KEEPING POSITIVE. I HAD A SONOGRAM TODAY AND THEY SAY THAT MY OVARIES ARE ABOUT THE SIZE OF ORANGES, SO I GUESS THAT IS AN IMPROVEMENT FROM THE SOFTBALL SIZE LAST WEEK.
TAKE ACRE ALL I WILL BE IN TOUCH. TAKING A MONTH TO RECOUPERATE.

Scan was fine today, ec booked for friday and double , it seems too real now, although i am pleased to get this far and so thankful. Will try and update the list

hi there all.... we had the scan today, and things are progressing nicely... we have about 40 follicals and biggest is 13mm.... still waiting for the bloods to come back... next scan on Friday!! hope that they keep growing!!!

Lisamarie-so sorry to hear about the OHSS.... it sucks.... hopefully you are feeling better, and will have a FET in the next few months.... just think, much, much less drugs for the FET, and no OHSS.... we've been thinking about you!

judy- great on the 25 eggs.... hope that the fertilization fairy is doing her job, and there are a bunch forming!!! take care and drink your water.... there has been too many with OHSS in the last few months!!!

brs88- wow, your day of testing is soon here........ i am sending loads and loads of baby dust your way, hope that this is your time... .can not wait to see your

Smita- thanks for all of your support.... hope that you are doing well, and your amino waters are riseing nicly.... i too had that with my son, and drinking did help bring the amnio water up, but there were soooo many trips to the bathroom!! my Dr said.... every time you use the washroom, drink another glass of water.... like replacing what was just lost!!! take care of yourself and baby!!

jay- good luck on the stims.... i too have PCOS, really bad.... the only good thing is that pcos people tend to produce more eggs...i always get about 40... but like they said, it is a much higher risk of OHSS, as we have seen with lisamarie. i will say, start drinking water or gatoraid now during your stims, help your body!! i too am on low doses, and they lower mine after day 3. i too get headaches after the stims..... but they usually stop in a day or so....

tracii- wow, starting soon...only a week to wait!!! you go girl!!

mitch- hope that EC went well, and that there are a lot of eggs to be fertilized!!!

Jay, I've been getting headaches although they might be dehydration but I've also had an upset stomach since I start stims too.

Lisa....glad to hear from you, we were worried. I'm glad you're back home and on the road to recovery. Taking a break is what your clinic think will be best so you can only follow their advice. I hope she won't mind my saying so but Michelle-In-Scotland had a very similar story and is now pg after her FET, so fingers crossed the same will happen to you. Make the most of your break.

debra - im glad to hear someone else suffering from headaches too, sorry i know it sounds awful but i thought i was the only one! i also find injecting quite easy my dh does it though and i apart from feeling the needle go in its not that bad! when is your next scan? mines on wed and then will see how many have grown?!
