Out of 2 fresh embies pgd 1 normal so transfering 1 fresh and 1 frozen from last cycle in about 45 min!! What a rollercoaster the past 3 days!!!!!!

SUPER BIG CONGRATS to LYD and Maria on your twins updates!! We have lots of multiples on this board - so very exciting! I've been reading this book called "Expecting Twins, Triplets, and More: A Doctor's Guide to a Healthy and Happy Multiple Pregnancy" - it is by Dr Rachel Franklin. I got it on Amazon and find it very good so far!

Sunshine - congrats on your mini "fortune" - that is exciting! I think of how thrilling it is to find a $20 bill in a jacket pocket or something. That is great that cashing out the stock has been able to take a bit of the financial burden off you. Good luck with your possible job opportunity too!

Alwasyangel - glad to hear one was good and that you are able to use your frozen from last cycle too - GOOD LUCK with your transfer!! Take it easy...

Leoria - how is your new job going? Hope all is well. I think you should focus on preparing for your vacation and then relaxing and enjoying it. The cycle will be there when you come back and you can stress about it then... but I think you should try to take a break from the fertility stuff and just enjoy your time with your husband. I'm wishing me and my DH had taken a real vacation in the last year or so!

Kerri_789 - we had that conversation with my RE last spring after our 5th failed cycle He told us based on the cycles to date that he thought our chances with my eggs were < 5% but if we went to a donor he thought it would increase to 50%. This is of course not what I wanted to hear... so I got a 2nd opinion, but that doctor was in total agreement that he felt we had done what we could and that our best chances of getting pregnant would be to switch to a donor. It is a hard decision to make, but once we made the call to go with a donor and things started coming together... I wished we had done in sooner. One of my sister's actually volunteered to be our donor. I was flattered but had similar concerns over what you mention. Additionally, I knew I only wanted to do the donor thing once and I felt better about selecting a donor that had been screened, where we could see the results from their past cycles, etc. I was afraid that if my sister did it and it didn't work, that it would be hard for our relationship - with all the struggles we have already been through - I just didn't want to bring my sister into it too and have her feel any of the same frustrations/failures that we were feeling. I think choosing a donor where you can see their track record of egg production and of getting people pg really helps you know that you are getting quality eggs. We went from several cycles where the best I ever put back in was 2 embryos on a 3 day transfer with my own eggs to having 7 embryos fertilized and still growing at day 5. As you can see - it worked and all 3 that went back in at transfer took It is not going to be right for everyone but know that if you are struggling with what the dr is saying is an egg quality issue, a donor may just be the solution for getting you your family.

AFM - not much new to report. Waiting another 2.5 weeks for my next U/S is going to be painful - I really missed not getting one this week. I just want to see the babies and know that they are ok and growing as they should. I've been feeling ok - kind of hit or miss with the food. Still having a hard time eating meat or vegetables but my new favorite thing is the instant breakfast shake that is fortified with proteint and bunch of vitamins and nutrients. I have to travel for work next week and am not looking forward to being away from home and my sweatpants and comfort foods Have a good weekend ladies!!

What is going on with this AF! Several years ago I'd get bad ones, pain, lots of bleeding and blood clots. This was probably when I was in my early 20's. It only happened a few times during those years. Since then they been from light to mild with bleeding and minimal cramping. Well she arrived on the 18th and it was pretty light but late yesterday and especially today....it was BAD! **TMI** used probably 2 pads in a couple hrs. We did have a 30 min walk today so that may have something to do with it. I also had a clot. I'm sure this is normal though?

I just can't believe in the last couple yrs I get my AF pretty much every month now but still don't Ovulate!

Angel - congrats on being PUPO! Feel free to unload on us during the 2ww. Based on my own experience that PGD normal embie has an excellent shot!

Rosie, Kala, and Bodie - thanks so much for your sentiments. First u/s is on 1/31. I think I'll try the olive oil. Wonderful stuff. I rubbed it on my tummy every day once I started showing last pregnancy.

Amanda - don't think if other things don't work I'm not desperate enough to try WD40!

Gina - my AF got much much worse once I got off BCP and started to conceive. It did get a little lighter after I had DD. Did that happen for you too?

kbillsy - I'm looking at your beta (lower than mine) and just hoping that I have 2 strong twins at most! I may have to check out that book.

Maria - hooray for today! Very impressed that you were even able to hear the HBs today. My u/s will be at 6w3d so I'd better hear at least one by then.

Ninde - I had a great experience with Weight Watchers before my wedding.

Leora - You started the new job already? Read your post on learning Hebrew and it made me curious why you and DH decided to make the big move to Israel. Do you plan to stay there permanently?

AFM - funny story. Today after eating lunch at my desk I walked down to the lobby to listen to an audiobook for a bit. I had a nice warm seat by the window and, well, I'm in my first trimester. Twenty minutes later the lobby attendant is gently shaking my knee to wake me up. I suspect I was snoring. Certainly felt refreshed after that power nap though! Happy weekend everyone (except you Leora and Rosie ).

Kerpupples- No BCP for me. I've been trying for 12 yrs for number two. No meds or anything yet. I would go a year with just having AF once or twice. The last couple of years they got more frequent and within the last yr it's pretty much every month. They are always very light until this one.

I saw the cutest 11 mnth old baby today at work, her name was Alexandria and my manager thought I was going to have a meltdown but I stayed strong this time-- although it wasn't easy. I pray someday we will get to experience being a mother and I know it's going to be the biggest MOST rewarding, most amazing life-changing event when that day comes! No let's not look back but only FORWARD because this the ONLY way this miracle will happen. Did I ever tell you ladies how much you all mean to me? Seriously nobody else would even begin to understand the craziness that come with the journey, the emotions, the uncertainites and somedays wonder how much more craziness could we possibly take? But the day we get to bring that little one home will be the moment we feel complete... all these "pieces of a miracle" will finally come together. x

Kerri: that's a tough one. When my sister was going through ivf I offered to be a donor but she said no. We are identical twins and i thought it might help but i could understand why it was an issue for her. I would listen to your feelings on this
