Good morning ladies!

How are you guys doing? TansRN, I hope the night went well! I really don't envy your schedule, poor thing!

Today is a smooth day. I have private practice, but only tonight, and probably only three clients. In a few minutes, I'll go and pay that credit card bill so I can load it completely on Thursday... ;) Stimming is comiiiiing! :D

Arizonakiwi: I'll email the articles as soon as I'm done with the list. Sorry for the time it took. I'm so happy that my comments were helpful; I care about you, after all, it's the second time we cycle together and I really want to help in any way I can. *hugs* I am rested, but my throat is still itchy and burning and I have a runny nose. It looks mild for now, so it's not too bad. Hehhee I hope I'm not getting another flu indeed; I can still picture myself with a kleenex up my runny nostril, arguing with the sewing machine over a flamenco skirt, lol! Only three injections left now! :D ... until I'm boosted to three injections a day, lol! I'm sorry that your trigger got pushed again. But they really do keep you on a close watch and I'm really happy to see you confident and trustful. It's really just around the corner. Despite the OHSS threat, remember me who stimulated for 12 long days before trigger and becleo, who stimmed for 14. We both made it to EC and everything points to the possibility that you will make it too. Hang in there sweetie! *hugs*

marsxp: I'm really glad that the info was useful! :D *hugs* Please give us news when you come back from the clinic with your little ones! :D :D :D I'll ask my doctor the same thing this time. Last time, I took no time off work. I'm a psychologist and I had private practice in the evening that day, so basically it only involved me sitting on a chair listening to people. Given that the problem occurred at implantation for me last time (everything else was above average: maturity, egg count, fert rate, growth, and so on), he suggested me to take the day off, but only so it would prevent me from feeling guilty if I have another BFN. He told me to work the next day, given the type of work that I do. Like he said, sitting in front of the TV all day will be no different than sitting in front of patients all day. ;)

Okay, time to update that list (I really can't get over the little snails, they are SO CUTE!) and write to my dear friend in NYC! Have a lovely day everyone!

Sophie - I agee with you about the bedrest, although I did lounge around for 2 days after ET. I did what my body told me, I was achy, tired and sore so I rested. My RE says "bedrest" is more of a superstitious thing, it makes you feel better. I can't believe you're getting ready to stim again, wow, time is flying...except with this 2ww. :)

I plan on staying very busy the next 7 days to make it go by faster. There's so much I need to get accomplished around the house. I look around and I feel hopeless. Does anyone else seem to get more agitated about the house during IVF???? I see a shoe out of place and I get cranky.

Marsha - I hope your ET went well today. Anxiously awaiting for your update!

Steph/Tanya - I hope your 2ww is going smooth. I'm trying to stay busy but man, 7 days seems like an eternity! :)

angela - getting closer......

Arizonakiwi - I will pray that those follies grow grow grow!!!!! Sorry you have to wait but they say Good things come to those who wait!!! So I will keep everything crossed for you.

Marsxp - Welcome to the 2ww!!! Hope you enjoy it. Don't let it drive ya nuts.... Well I don't think that there is any way to avoid going nuts ...

Sophie - What a visual LOL -a kleenex up your runny nostril, arguing with the sewing machine over a flamenco skirt..... Now that would be something for funniest video. Sounds like something I would be doing.I'm doing much better I keep messing with DH and telling him that technically I'm preggy with 4 until further notice... I think its funny & I don't think he finds it as funny as I do. How ya feeling? Hope you are on the road to getting better.

Time to go back to work.. Yuck...... Hope everyone has a great day!!

Couldn't help but take a peek...

My2LnT: LOL   Yeah, I know, quite a visual... and I didn't mention the bathrobe and the slippers... the absence of makeup and hairdo... That day, I really wanted to finish that skirt. I started in the morning, blinked, and realized it was 4pm! I'm feeling okay, thank you. Runny nose is not so bad, and throat is tolerable. It's sunny outside and I get to plan what flowers and plants we're going to use this summer, and it's great! I finally found a way to plan it right and it really reassures me. I'll take pics of the house, and I scanned the pics of the flowers and plants we like; I'll juxtapose the scans on the pics of the house to see what it will look like at different times of the year. Sounds complicated but it actually is very reassuring! And yes, you're technically preggy with four my dear! :D During my last 2ww, I used to tell my DH "Okay, the three of us are coming back home!" or, "We're all going to the grocery store now!" and so on. ;)

Jovigal: I think your view of bedrest is very good, sweetie! I have NOTHING against lounging around for a couple of days. I'll sure do that myself. One should indeed listen to one's body! What I'm against is forcing yourself to stay in bed at all costs, all stressed out, because you're afraid one hard sneeze will impair implantation. That's indeed superstition, like your RE said. Yeah, stimming is starting Friday night! :D I was thinking about my last stimming this morning, though, and thought about that cyst scare... maybe you remember? My doc made that cruel comment, telling me that those two cysts might absorb all the impact of the meds and stimming would have to be cancelled! I tend to develop cysts naturally, so... With Repronex, though, I think the chances of that happening will be lower. The pharmacist told me that Repronex helped a nice and steady maturation of the eggs. Maybe that's what they were looking for when they prescribed it to me. I'll ask. Hehehe good luck on staying busy! We'll sure wait with you! You've come a long way darling, just a few more days and you'll know! squeeee! :D

And before I forget, I really wanted to tell you, guys, that you're amazing. I consider myself incredibly lucky to have you to talk to every day. I've only told the essential people (DH, clinic, boss, flamenco teacher) about this cycle in order to avoid being disappointed by my friends again, and having you makes a huge difference. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart! *group hug*

Sophie - thanks for the well wishes. Did you say you were a physician in an earlier post? I was just curious. I was working for a MSO/hospital owned physician offices. Back last summer, I gave up my position (Financial Admin/Contract Admin for Physicians) to work part time from home. I love my new hours. Plus my 6 yr old dd is much happier. With all of the stress from my job, I would have never been able to go through all of the IVF/IUI treatments.

beans on my window

Post by Literatriz »

Hi all,
Just to tell how much I am enjoying this group. It is really a SUPPORT group. It's presence follows my day now. Thinking about our May/June bunch, I've moved a tray of bean seeds ( to be transplanted later) to my kitchen window, where I wash dishes, meditate and pray to the renewing forces sustaining Life. Not all beans sprout and when they do, it is at their own time. There is very little I can do to make them grow, but I do it dutifully. Now, when I care for them early in the morning, I think you all of us, gardeners of tender seeds, spending material, emotional and biological resources because of an insistent longing for motherhood. You are all in my thoughts when I mix cold and warm water and moist the little beans.

Ninble - hope you get the official notice soon!

Marsxp - I am hoping to get the change you have - of staying in bed if you want and do very little if you please. I am planning of renting all movies by each one of my favorite actors and watch them in a row - it takes a lot of time plus we get a very good sense of how good they are. Al Pacino, Sean Penn, Jack Nickolson...I am also planning on finally organizing/scanning/selectign family pictures. What are your plans?
Good luck with your little sticky ones!

PMApsy, is there anything you can do (e.g. reducing protein or lactose intake) to reduce the chance of cists? Good luck with the simming process!

My2LnT, hope your little fighters will keep working hard!

All growing follies...GROW, GROW GROW!!!!!

Dear ArizonaKiwi, thanks for helping me with understanding that my yesterday is your today....meaning that you will hear the good news a day before us!

About me: I am having my Lupron tomorow (our anniversary)! Hope it doesn't hurt so much because we want to celebrate! We are flying to Brazil on June 15th - playing dice with Nature here! All procedures will happen there. I am a bit worried about flying back and all the mini vibration within the plane. I've checked that flight attendants have a higher proportion of miscarriages probably due to sun radiation (?). I am not sure if we are going to flight back the day after the possible tranfer, while little ones are still "floaties". Maybe, if all goes well, I will stay with Mom for ten days and come back after they (2, hopefully) are securelly buried in a nurturing web of arteries. Any thoughts?

Best wishes to all of you!!!!
