Lauren- Yay, an august baby!!! Congratulations. WE did a FET of 3 embryos with assisted hatching. This is our 2nd IVF attempt and our final one too. DH and I had agreed that after 7 years of ttc this was it for us. If it doesn’t work out then we have to go with adoption. We received a phone call from our doctor yesterday telling us that we have a BFP!! I am in total shock and disbelief right now. Our beta levels were in at 127 10dp5dt. I had to go out and POAS and that too was a BFP. Lauren you are absolutely right this is the best New Year’s present ever!

Tawny- That is so crazy. I am so happy for you guys. Three babies will definitely keep you busy, but I’m sure when the time comes you will know just how to handle it and it will be like no big deal. You’ll be supermom!

Happy New Year everyone! I've been stalking the board for a while and praying and hoping y'all get your miracles soon. Hope you don't mind me joining in here and there. After our one and only ivf attempt, we have a sweet baby girl and just one frozen embed. It will be our one and only try for a sibling. Will try in the near future.

Lauren- Thanks so much. My next appointment for my betas is 1/9. I am also going to be dropping by the doctors today. I need to talk to them about my work. I am an aircraft mechanic and my job is labor intensive and requires me to crawl on top of the aircrafts, laydown on my stomach, and be in awkward position for a while. I don’t want to do anything to jeopardize this pregnancy so I thought I should talk to my doctor to find out what exactly I can and can’t do. DH is hoping they will put me on light duty if there is availability and if not he wants me to go out on disability. Oh my employer will love me when I go back to work next week. oh well.

Ginger- Welcome. Thank you so very much. Congrats on your daughter. Have you and DH decided when you’re going to do your next round?

Happy New Year Ladies!! It looks that we had some very exciting BFPS on the board while I was away and I'm glad this board ended with celebrataion! TheCure4U wonderful news and I'm glad your second round worked. Dh and I think about adoption every now and then, but you ladies give us a sense of hope and I love reading happy endings, I will be following you and several more over on the PAT board for sure. Congratulations!

sunshine- I'm doing good. Besides feeling fat and really overwelmed I'm going great. I have kind of lost my appitite I've only been really eating because I know I need to. I'm anxious for my u/s on Fri it should be better pics and I'll get more information about the identicals then. I've been doing alot of research online about triplets and getting pretty scared about their health and mine.

The cure....I had to do the same thing for work. I actually begged yesterday for me to return. I need the money. Disability is just not enough. I'm a nurse an bending and lifting is not permitted! Congrats again! Are u feeling ok so far? I.know its early still:)

Tawny...can't wait to see pics Fri! I got a pic of my little bean aka sac LOL anymore bleeding? Do u have a high risk OB in the area that u will see? Write Ur concerns down for the RE. I'm.praying u have a healthy pregnancy:) did they give u a due date? There's a websitr u can plug Ur retrieval date in too..

Afm...back to work tomorrow! I made my first OB appt bc the nurse at the RE told me to start the process so its not till Feb 1! I go Monday for more bloodwork and than fetal ultrasound is Jan 14!!!!! Omg the wait is gonna kill me! Feeling ok very tired...got up at 7 after I went to bed at 9 an then back to sleep from 9-11. Crazy...hope everyone is well!

Lauren..you need a ticker but I saw you say to Leora you don't know how. If you go to lily pie you can create a ticker. Then you click on the BBC Code and copy and paste that code into you signature. You only want from [img] to [img]. I made one you could use if you wanted, just delete the * from the right before the last ] and it will show up as a ticker. I made it very generic because I didn't know if your need a light or dark haired baby, etc. I also guessed on your due date...August 31??? So let me know if you want it or you want me to make a new one. It takes 2 minutes once you know how to do it. You've waited long enough-you deserve a ticker!!!!

sorry I haven't been around -- I've been super depressed and sad and disappointed and frustrated... we are considering donor eggs/embryos and got a fantastic offer from someone online to donate to us her 'leftover' embryos, but it's getting super complicated.

We are going on vacation in less than 3 weeks! YAHOO!

The plan is to do a round of testing now (I'm taking Estrace and progesterone to fake a cycle) - redo a HSG, hyesteroscopy, endo biopsy, etc. Then we go on vacation. When we get back, we'll start our long agonist cycle with our current clinic, while pursuing the egg/embryo donor thing. Hopefully something will work soon! I'm feeling really really burned out and tired of all this. Hopefully vacation will reinvigorate us, and hopefully we'll be done, with a baby in our arms, soon.

Lauren - how great to see a gestational sac on u/s! That is such a great sign!

Tawny - triplets is quite overwhelming. I hope you find some good resources.

TheCure - CONGRATS! That is a great beta! I'm so happy for you! --- aircraft mechanic? That sounds cool, and super unusual! I hope you can figure something out about work.

Leorira...I'm sorry ur feeling the way u are:( I really hope vacation helps take ur mind off things for a bit and u can start fresh feeling good! Donor...duh and I did donor Iui before this last ivf ...it's a tough decision but I'mmsure u and DH will figure it out and it sounds like ur re has a new plan, I'm praying u come home with a baby in 2013!!

I'm suppose to have an u/s tomorrow. But they called today and said the machine will be down tomorrow and the next time I can go in is next Thursday. So I guess I have another week to wait and see how they are doing in there. I'm pretty annoyed about it but there is nothing that I can do so I guess I have to go with it.

Yay Lauren!!! Did I get your dates right?? I was very nervous early on especially with my low progesterone. With my twins I worried the whole pregnancy. This time, once we saw the heartbeat I vowed to not do that to myself and my family. My kids need me. It has been easy to stay busy and I can't believe I'm already 22 weeks!

Sunshine- Thank you! I have nothing against adoption, and have always wanted to adopt. I was the one who was fed up with all of the infertility stuff. DH was the one who wanted to try one more time (don’t get me wrong I wanted to too, but I was just scared that it would be another let down). Do you know when you’re going to be starting your next round?

Tawny- I’m so sorry you have to wait another week. So frustrating!! Looks like we both have our u/s next Thursday.

Lauren- Yes so far I’m feeling fine. Just tired and have the normal cramping, oh and nauseated here and there. Besides that I’m feeling good. How about you?? Oh and I said that my next appointment was 1/9….it wasn’t. It was actually Jan 2. I am so lucky that I went down to my RE’s office to talk to him about work and get more meds otherwise I would have missed it. Now I’m a little nervous my 2nd beta came back and it was only 277. My first was 127. They also said that my progesterone was low, so now I’m taking it 3xs a day. I have my first u/s on 1/10. I’m just praying that everything is ok in there. As far as work they put me on lighter duty and gave me some restrictions. I go back to work 1/7 so well see how my work takes it. 13 hours is a long work day. I hope you taking a break every couple of hours. That is one thing that my RE put on my note to my work.

Leora- I’ll be saying some prayers for you and DH. You both have been through so much. Just take this vacation and try your best to relax and enjoy it. It sounds like you guys have a good plan. I’m hoping that 2013 will bring you both a beautiful baby.

Ryann- I too have low progesterone. Do you remember what progesterone medication your RE put you on and how long did you have to take it for? 22 weeks…. You’re already over half way there. How exciting.
