Hello everyone,

Just back from another sacn and blood, no change from yesterday - I'm so fed up. It's really lovely to see all you ladies getting great results but selfishly I'm wondering why I can't be joining you. I don't smoke, I'm not over weight, I've given up everything and anything and until I started IVF had nothing but unexplained infertility. I'm brusied all over, my tummy hurts and I just want to curl up and disappear. Sorry to be so down, I just don't think I can go through all this again.

Love to all

Hey Ladies - finally heard from RE about eggs they actually got 10 (!!), not 8 - considering nine of 'em came from one ovary, no wonder I'm so sore... Of the 10, 8 were mature, and 6 fert'd and are dividing normally. We go for the xfr tomorrow - there are 3 at a grade 2 (which is good) and 3 at a grade 3/3-.... So, they'll probably put back 4 embies. This is probably our best result yet, so we'll keep our fingers crossed that one takes!

Looks like DH is cooking Easter dinner this year!

Cheers all,
Lisa

So many people on this board, I can't address them all.

Nicki - Sounds like your ET is soon. Don't worry, your body will calm down in a bit. The meds are in full swing now.

Rebecca X - Sorry to hear your news. Has your doctor given you any reasons or is there any investigating that can be done? Our bodies are so complicated and unique, maybe something will change soon.

Jes - Sounds like you have very good chances, especially if they are waiting until blast stage. When I had my first IVF in 2005, they did not wait and went with three-day embyos. Sounds like some of the protocol has changed even in a few years. Lots more clinics waiting until blast stage.

Charlie - How are you? Hanging in there on the 2ww. Maybe you will have the best birthday ever.

Happy Easter and wishing the stimmers lots of eggs!

Oh Rebecca -I wanted to send you a special hug Image I can't imagine your frustration. Don't give up hope. My ovaries were VERY slowly plodding along during my last cycle and suddenly popped into action at truly the last minute. They can be very stubborn and then take on a huge growth spurt. I want you to really do something speciaol for yourself and your hard working eggs and take a night off (as much as possible inbetween the poking  ). Also, positive visualization can't hurt and some think it helps alot. Don't get down on yourself. You are doing such a great job and this is far from easy. Your ovaries may really surprise you yet! Us poor responders need extra tweeking here and there. Each day brings you closer to holding your little one in your arms. Keep believing.

BTW, while you're taking the night off, I'll give your folly fairy a huge kick in the arse

HI

Rebecca-Don't give up!!

I was told I am a poor responder based on the chlomid test last month...then all of a sudden I have created a bunch of follicles(atleast 10 that are over 10 mm as of yesterday morning.) with the Microdose flare protocol.
I think stress plays a big role in getting pregnant too! It screws up our hormones. I am sending prayers your way. We are all stong women that we are even trying IVF, some more than once, some are beginners. I look to those who have tried IVF more than once, you are my heros. The strengh you all have to try again encourages me to think positive and if it doesn't work this time, not to give up!

I want to thank all of you for your support. I fell like you are all my sisters! Heck, I don't talk to my sisters as much as I do all of you.

I really think God is looking out for all of us, and he does have a plan for us and our future babies!

Who all is having the EC this weekend, Monday and Tuesday??
I am going tomorrow morning for the US and BW, and the nurse said I will know when my EC is, most likely monday!!

Happy Easter!!!!(well in two days!)

TTYL,

Love Donna

Just getting on here to see how everyone is doing. I am crazy with the TWW thing. DP keeps telling me she is feeling bloated, lower back pain (just a little, enough to notice) and "twinges" in her belly. I don't know what that means, but it feels so early to be feeling anything. Are we totally crazy???? We did AI at home on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Her cervix was very open on Tuesday and Wednesday. It was open the other days but not as much.
Is it just wishful thinking, all in her head or could she really be feeling this? Help keep me sane. I feel like a crazy woman through this TWW!!!

Also, really excited for all of you that are getting great outcomes with your follies. WOW! Good luck to you all! Can't wait to hear about all the BFP's this month!

Hi all hope everyone is ok. i will come back alste to catch up but feeling sore at the moment. well me back from EC and they have managed to get 21 eggs . Have to wait to see how many are mature and how many fertilise. We had a bit of a problem in theatre as he punctured on of my endometrioms that i had so i will bleed a lot but apart from that everything went well.

Question i cant remember what size needle do i use for gestone? I have that many different ones at home and i cant remember which one to use. I have to do gestone in the morning and pessary in the evening. On double cleaxane from tomorrow as well

Hope everyone is well.

hello everyone,

firstly, thank you all for all your kind words and support - I don't know what I'd do without you all.

I'm just back from the hospital and the scan showed that one more follicle has joined the gang so there are now 5. that said, the doctor wants to carry on for another couple of days. It probably means that my EC will be on wednesday 11th - that means 18 days of stimulation!! the doctor was honest and told me that they didn't know what to expect when they did the retrieval but wanted to take the risk. This morning they had to take my blood from my wrist, it was the only place where they could get a vein. My body is in bits!! tonight i'm going to have to change the injection sites to my leg as my tummy is one huge black bruise now and I've run out of spots to jab. I'm just grasping on to the fact that I may get a miracle as I don't think I could do this again. If we get passed the retrieval stage then our test date will be my DH's 30th birthday - it will be one happy or sad day.

sending lots of love to all of you, good luck this week to all those testing, collecting and transfering.
