JDC - I am sooooo sorry things didn't work out.  Sending big hugs your way. You take some time, just grieve and heal. Then get back on this crazy IVF roller coaster and get a protocol that will kick start those ovaries. Hope everything works out for you. I'll be thinking of you.

JDC I am so sorry that things didnt work out this cycle. As turtle said, take time to heal (mind body and soul) and then jump right back into the IVF wagon. Did you get any insight from the RE? He is going to try something different this next time?

I know that you dont want to have the feelings you do about your sister and her baby, but its ok. We all get them, no matter how hard we try not to. I know that your happy for your sister, but again you wonder "why is that not me, where is my baby". I can remember a time 2 years ago when every single one of my close friends were all within 3 months apart. It was the hardest thing ever. We were doing IUI's at the time. Everytime the phone rang I knew what it was about, I just didnt know who it was calling to tell me. I had 9 baby showers within 2 months. Talk about feeling left out!!

Anyho...sometimes we need to feel sorry for ourself for just a few mins, but we need to pick back up and move on. I'm a firm believer that when you work hard for something your greatly rewarded. Once you get your little one you will appreciate what you have a little more than someone who said "ut oh".

Rinnie thanks for posting your PIO secret. I am so going to try that.

Good afternoon ladies. Another busy day. I am back at work today after my ER yesterday. I'm a little crampy, but the Tylenol is helping alot. So now I just have to wait until tomorrow to get my fert report and find out when my ET will be.

turtles: I am SO sorry they cancelled your cycle. But I know that strength that got you to this point will also get you past it. You have been through so much. This is only a delay though! Do have a nice glass of wine for me, too while you are at it! I can't wait to hear how well your June cycle goes! And get ready for that awesome cruise!

Rinnie: Thanks for the PIO suggestion. And no, I haven't heard a thing sine my ER!! I won't hear anything until tomorrow when they call to give me a fert report and let me know when my ET will be. Does the waiting ever end??!! :D

SueQiwi: I didn't start hurting on stims until close to the end, but everybody reacts different! And I didn't drink alcohol once I started my meds. The doctor never told me I couldn't, but I didn't want the "what if" to come up. And I also cut out almost all caffeine, too, by choice!

ForMaggie: Thank you. I am feeling much better today. I am back at work, and taking Tylenol to ease the cramps.

LB: Good luck on your ET!! That is awesome! Stay positive!! I'm praying for you!

dakota: The PIO shot wasn't bad at all. I know Rinnie suggested no ice, but I took a bag a frozen broccoli and numbed my hip for about 10 minutes, then took the shot and could barely feel it. But heat after the shot is probably a good idea!

JDC: I am so sorry. I can't even imagine your disappointment right now. It is perfectly fine for you to feel jealous right now. We all understand. So feel sorry for yourself, get out a good cry, and then get ready for the next cycle when they get the protocol right for you! I'm praying for you!

For everyone else, I hope you all are doing well. To you 2ww'ers, not much longer now!!

JDC wrote:Hi Everybody -
I just wanted to let you know that of my 3 eggs, only 2 fertilized and they were abnormal. I had to leave work and come home. I'm so dissappointed. It is hard because as I was telling my father the news, my sister was visiting his office to show of her 6 week old beautiful child. I don't want to be jealous and feel sorry for myself, but honestly, right now I do.
I'm so sorry to hear the news JDC. Don't feel bad about feeling jealous, I'm jealous of your sister too. I bet most of us are jealous of your sister. Does it make us bad people? no, just human. It's okay to be human. Let it out, cry. Do what ya gotta do. You can still be happy for your sister, love her and her baby AND be jealous TOO. This whole process is just about crazy complication complex emotions.

It takes a lot of strength and acceptance to deal with all the emotions (good and bad), but you've got what it takes to deal with it.

HUGS AND LOVE FROM ALL OF US!!

JCD I cant tell you how sad I am that your cycle was cancelled. We all understand your frustration and your pain. SDtrying is right, we have all been jealous of someone's baby...it's natural. At least you know your feelings and can see that this feeling isnt going to be long term. She is your sister. I have three...two of which have children, and sisters understand and will give you time to heal.

My thougts and prayers are will you. I know for me it took longer than I thought getting over my BFN...however once we started again, the excitement for a child was right there again....hold your DH tonight and cry all you want. It's okay.

Hugs!!!!

JDC I'm so very sorry about your eggs. That's exactly what happened to me last time. I had 6 eggs fert & they were ALL bad. I was devastated!
I know it's soon now to think about it, but after the 3 months of herbs and AP I had 3 good eggs & it could have been more if they didn't overdose me on stims. I really believe Chinese medicine could help you...your eggs aren't getting nourished. My body is so in tune now I needed less stims & I had much better eggs. You have to put in the time, but it's soooo worth it!
I'm praying for you...take time to heal.

I wish I could address everybody but I don't have the concentration right now, but every single thing that each person said today helped me sooo much. THANK YOU!

I'm definitley going to look into AP. I won't start my next cycle until July, so I have some time. I won't even meet face to face with my RE until late June which sucks a little - my clinic is really large, and I mostly discuss matters with my nurse as she is my RE's representative. Anyway, thanks again to everyone....I will still be tracking everyone's progress and I will be praying for each and every one of you!

JDC: I am so sorry. I know how much all this sucks. Next month! I am being pushed back to July because of our BW, so I know how it drives you crazy to be delayed. I just keep telling myself that one month in the grand scheme of my child's life isn't that much! I also understand the jealousy. My brother and his wife just had their second. It was tough going to visit them. I begged them to let me have her, but no dice.

Rinnie: I do the same thing! Letting it sit in hot water for a few minutes makes it easier to draw into the syringe, as well as injecting.

But be sure not to get it too hot, ladies! Yikes, it hurts!!

Turtles: Holy cow, girl, you are an inspiration! God will certainly bless you in ways you can't imagine. Just hold tight. He'll do it in His time.

aims: Congrats! Now the 2WW. Here's hoping for a BFP!

LB - Good luck!

SueQiwi - I think I might have had a glass of wine here or there while stimming, but it wasn't a lot!

Did I tell y'all I am pushed back until July? I can't remember. Forgive me! Anyway, I am going to post on the July thread now, but I will keep up with all of you. Wishing you all BFP - either this month or in the very near future!

Coco Did I miss something? What happened with the BW?
I'm sorry, but keep positive and make sure you come back here & visit!!!
Yep..you really have to have muscle if it's not warm :)

aims Congrats, your PUPO !! woo hoo.

JDC Take time to heal, and feel free to ask me any questions about the Chinese stuff. Herbs are important too...they really help strengthen your body, where you need it. There are some excellent books out there.

My RE isn't sure the BW results will be back in time. THere is a chance we could still make it in June, but it's doubtful. Plus my acupuncturist would like an extra month with me, so it seems to be working out that we'll start again in July.

I'm not going anywhere though! I'll still post.

Good night!!

SD - well, my peeing plans so far is not to POAS. I did last time and made myself a wreck. I was so obsessed with every cramp, twinge, ache wondering if it was a sign. Then when I did POAS, I kept getting a negative. It help prepare me when I got the offical call about the beta, but I think I will wait this time. Not sure if I will still be saying this in the middle of my 2WW... :?

Well ladies I had really hoped to get this thread started with a bang but unfortunately I have had BFN.

I POAS on days 11 and 12 following a 5dt blastocyst. Both sticks were very negative.

DH and I are absolutely devastated and don't know where to go from here. It is not the process that is the problem just finding the money.

Hope all goes well for everyone else and my heart goes out to all those who have been cancelled. I shall loiter on this thread occ. to see how everyone is but my heart isn't in it right now.

Take care

Karen:

I am so sorry, hon. I know how painful it is to get a BFN after going through so much. Please take care of yourself and don't give up hope for the future. One way or another, it will happen! Keep believing.
