fitzjr - doing the"come early AF dance" for ya! And I totally hear you on the reaction to your friend. (((hugs))) to you

Helen - your clinic does not use a combination of menopur and follistim? Hang in there hon! It only takes one embie!

miyaya - YAY for the little delay instead of a longer one. Doing the happy dance for you!

cressie - I have no idea why your doc would do a BETA 3 days post. It's not possible to tell at that point! For the rest of us, it is not actually a 2ww. Mine and beth's are only 9 days (I said only. This is torture!). It's 2 weeks from the ER.

AFM - starting to wonder if I'm really feeling things or just imagining them. The 1st few days after transfer I had a ton of little cramps and twinges, etc. Yesterday, nothing. Then really early this morning, it felt like a really mild sustained cramp or a pull, it was hard to tell. Shoot me!

Thanks, all, for the support and hugs. Things are always much better in the morning.

Dogz - I'm with you on all that. Odd little cramps that I hope mean something. And this morning, I was trying to decide if my boobs were sore, or if they are just getting sore from me poking them to see if they are sore. :)

Miyaya- So glad your delays are over - I hope the surgery goes well!

Helen - welcome! Lots of good wishes that your smaller follicles will grow. I had to up my dose to get some smaller ones to grow. I think the only sacrifice was that the one big one I had earlier ended up being too degenerated by my ER. But better to have 4 than that 1.

Fitz - yeah, I feel like half of my friends are pregnant. And one obnoxious coworker who was going on about not being sure she ever wanted children, only to come in to work weeks later, "oops, pregnant, how exciting." Ack! But I also have dear friends who just had their baby after 5 years TTC, so that one makes me hopeful.

Hey ladies. Had my et an hour or so ago and they put back two beautiful blasts. Unfortunately I don't think the other two will make it freeze but am happy that at least I had two grade 1 blasts. I am now officially PUPO!!!! My beta is on aug 7. Hope I make it thru the next two weeks.

Hugs to everyone. Will do personals tomorrow. Dh is making me an egg s/w. Going to milk the pampering!

Hi Everyone!
Sorry I have been out of the loop. I was feeling a bit overwhelmed.....and thought that i might be spending too much time reading into everything. They gave me three different trigger/ER dates, three days in a row and I was both confused and irritated. I have been a bit depressed without my DH too. Well, today DH drove down to nyc and I feel so much better!

It turns out they are almost positive i will trigger tomorrow night and have the ER Tuesday. Now I am really getting nervous....but at least it turns out my hubby can be here! YEY!

I only have five follies right now, but they seem to think that is enough (4 out of the 5 are within the 14mm-18mm range). does that sound normal for my age? :?
Regarding what fitz posted.......i had two of my senior students who were pregant this school year. it is so tough to see that day in and day out! I get it...I really do!!! Now it's our turn, right?

I will post personals later this weekend. I am thinking of all of you ( and the wildlife you may come across in your backyards!) and wishing you all the very best in your follie growing, emby growing, ER's, ET's and 2WW's! BABY DUST & STICKIES TO ALL! :)
:D

hello all

Welcome helengb it is quite normal for them to up your dose when there is a small amount of follies. and like the ladies said them four little ones can grow quite quick. Hang in there and i hope everything pans out for you pma grow follies grow grow grow :)

Dessie welcome welcome i too am on my 2ww so it's not long for u now pma to you. What did you have transferred 3 day or 5 day embie

sunnygirl great to hear on you 5 follies and it depends on lady to lady how you react to all the meds as to how many follies you will get. when it was my first go of ivf they put me on a lower dosage and i only got 2 follies and when they upped my dosage i got 14 so it just depends on a lot of factors hang in there and all the best on ER grow some more follies grow grow. :D

babies wow great to hear your embies went to blast now join us on the gruelling 2ww in your case 9 day wait stick embies stick stick stick

Pma to you all

:?: Got another Lupron question for you all. This is my first time taking these drugs, so I don't really know what to expect . I did not realize it until my husband pointed it out to me, but I have really become a space cadet. I forget appointments, got lost while driving in places I am familiar with, feed my kids foods I know they don't like. My husband had to give me directions back from were I had gone way off coarse driving. He said go to the next street and turn right. I get to the street and was at a loss for whether to turn right or left. Even writing this, I feel like I am writing at the 1st grade level. I think normally I am a pretty smart person, but over the past week I seem to be in a fog. I feel very anxious all the time too, my stomach in knots. I think part of my forgetfulness is that I am so anxious worrying about what I am doing next and getting stuff done that I am not thinking about the task I am doing. I am also very easily angered and way aggressive. Is this normal? Please let me know I am not alone. He knows the drugs are going to do weird things, but I'm pretty sure my DH thinks I'm having a stroke!

Wow - so much PMA already - i cant believe how much it helps to not feel like im the only one on earth going through this  Thanks to everyone for the encouragement - its soooo hard to know whether you're doing well or not in the follie growth stakes when you have nothing to compare it to!

Dogrulz - im not really sure about what drug regimen other women in my clinic are using - and as im a newbie to all this im not sure how my treatment compares to others. I was told i was doing whats referred to as a short cycle using cetratide - which i started injecting last night - yes i am officially a pin cushion :) .

Im also right there - with the girls who seem to feel as if everyone around them is pregnant - dont get me wrong - every pregnancy is a little miracle in itself - it is just so hard to see up close on a daily basis - like yesterday in work - i was stood in my friends office inbetween her - she is 3 months pregnant (who by the way started trying with her husband - because she saw the heartache we had been through over the last few years!)and another girl who is 5 months pregnant with twins - talk about feeling inadequate!! I just keep telling myself that when it is finally my turn - it will be even more special than they will ever be able to understand :)

Good night ladies - i feel like i am on the same journey as so many of you now - with the most precious gift at the end for us all :D

lisa - everything you are experiencing is totally normal. Just wait until you start the stims!!! Tell your hubby to hang in there, and let him know that it's not you talking/reacting (or not reacting!), it's the meds.

Good Morning Ladies!

This morning I had a sonogram to check eggs, they said there were 10 but there could be more or less once we start the Stims... which I start today! Yahoo!!!!

I had a cyst on the left side but they said it is nothing to worry about, and that it could be an endomytreal cyst (spell?), which I have always suspected I may have. Apparently the fluid that fills those sacs are blood instead of puss or water (according to the nurse).

They will call me later with more info but she said everything looked fine.

My only concern is that I am a split-donor and hope to have enough eggs. They counted 18 a month ago, so just wondering what happened to them. If I only have 8 or less, I do not split. We did this to help with the cost and also help someone who is struggling with infertility like us.

(((hugs))) and baby dust and sticky thoughts to all...
