hey everyone

wolffie of my 8 embies they collected on my last cycle 7 were 8 cell grade 1 which was great and one didn't make it. they transferred 2 and 5 snow babies. Then as u see they graded them again after thaw and 2 made it bearly. My everything crossed for you that your two little fighting embies will breeze through the thaw and make their way where they are suppose to be back with mommy

I am having so much trouble keeping up on this thread, I think I was on ivf-forum overload from the past 2 threads I was on and decided I needed a break and would cut back a little this time. But please know that I am readin all of your updates and I am praying for each and everyone of you!

Katie- to answer you question from days ago about the possible half-sib...since my dad gave me the ok to cautiously pursue a relationship, I have chatted a little bit with him online and have had a couple of long phone calls. There has been some talk about a dna test, which I think I would do, but unfortunately half brother.sister accuracy rates are much lower than brother to brother or including any parent. I guess we will just take it one day at a time. It is weird right now since there is still speculation and my brothers don't really want anything to do with the situation. It has been crazy though, to say the least. I imagine someday I will meet him, but he lives pretty far away from me, so it will be a while before that happens.

Not too much new with me. Headaches, big bruises on my thigh, and just trying to remember to take all of my estrogen pills. I hope I hear from the clinic soon with my next appt, I don't think it would be until a week before transfer. Even though life has calmed down a bit, semester starts tomorrow, and I am taking my final 3 courses for my master's degree, I figure I should get that out of the way before I have 2 little ones at home to chase around all day!

I didn't get a second interview. =( Alas, I was too inexperienced after all. Kinda had to take the weekend and "mourn" the loss of the job I had in my mind already given myself. But seeing as how school starts tomorrow, I am sort of glad that I am no longer pulled in 14 different directions.

My first beta is on Tuesday. They want me to go in before 11, but of course I am going to be in class, so I don't think I'll be able to get same-day results. Confession: I took 3 HPT's already... I know it's been too early (hopefully, because they've all been negative), but I had them sitting around, and just couldn't help it. Mercifully, I'm out now, and didn't buy any when I was at Target today, so that probably means I'll be waiting for the beta results like a good girl.

Dtao - Sorry to hear about the interview, but you should feel good that you were chosen. If inexperience was the issue this time, just give it a little while and the next time something like this comes along, you'll be a shoo-in! Regardless of what that HPT says, you are still PUPO! Some of those tests have to measure a higher amount in the urine, but the blood is much more accurate. So please do not get discouraged! I hope you can get to the office ASAP tomorrow to put your mind @ ease.

Mjay - How are you feeling? You should have your beta tomorrow also, right? When are you going in? Does your clinic do same day results?

Lisa & Ruthie - Hope all goes well @ your appointments today. Looking forward to hearing good news

Kiwi - Did you get your calendar? What meds are you starting tomorrow?

I started lupron on Saturday and have had a few headaches and a little moodiness, but nothing too awful yet. Supression check is next Tuesday. It looks like the first of the betas are coming up for this board soon - good luck ladies!!!!

Good Morning ladies!

Well the clinic just faxed my protocol. Looks like I go back for u/s and bw to check my lining on sept 9, I stop lupron and start crinone and other stuff on the 19th and my FET is planned for sept 22. I am happy to finally be moving along here, but I guess I am still cautiously optimistic. I have been delayed so much I find it hard to get my hopes up as I feel like I could still get delayed at any point. I guess I will feel better after my appt on the 9th, since after that there will be no more appts until transfer day.

Good Morning Ladies.... Happy Monday!!! Just checking in too see how everyone is doing. And like everyone else... hopefully I can catch up with personals. This forum is really blowing-up. This is so exciting. I am like Ct_mIchelle. After my lst 2 failed IVFs and posting on last 2 forums. I was burnt out. I am trying to take it easy this time so I try not to spend too much time on here either. Nothing personal, and I also read all the posts, but I just need to relax the most possible.

CT_Michelle... I am so sorry that u r having to endure this added stress in your life right now. A half-sibling... wow, that is a kick in the ass. So do you beleive it to be true, did you respond to this person? WHat does your dad plan on doing? SOrry if I am asking too many questions, just that How does something like this come up after 28 years. And yes this could be a reason why the headaches came about, apart fromt he meds and Lupron. Sorry u have to be going though this especially thu this part of your life.

Kikwi... Well, now that your meds have arrived... u cvan now arrange them over and over and over... At least that is what I did and still do. Now the fun begins... GL hun.

Turtle... COngrats on starting Lupron. Now I can also do the AF dance for you.

Cheekyone ... Congrats on ET. U r officially PUPO!!! SOrry that they had to thaw all your frosties for this ET, but out of the 5 the 2 strongest survived and now they are finding their place in mommys tummy. Good Luck hun.

deftonesmo.... Congrats on your ET. 4 Embies? We know at least one of them babies has to stick... will be doiung the sticky dance for you. I noticed u are so young, how did u convince them to transfer 4? Please let me know, JIC I need to use the technique for next time. If u read before.. that is why I am tranferring RE for next fresh cycle, they refused to tranfer 3 even though I only had 3, so I got a BFN with the last 2 and now I am only working with 1 frostie for this FET. mjay.... Wow, u have also bee going thru alot emotionally. They warned us and our DHs about the crazy mood swings and tantrums. SO they better understand when we do throw plates at them. That was wonderful of your DH to bring Roses and take u out on a date. I love when our DHs understand the emotions we r going thru and we need that little extra attention thru these times. SO did u POAS at all? DO u plan on it? Good lUck with your Beta.. I beleive it is tomrrow right?

AFM.... Nothing new, just waiting for Wednesday for next bw/us. I am still taking my injections. On friday I got home and DH told me to make myself Hot... we were going dancing with a few friends. Yipee!!! He said he figured he would take me ut before the ET JIC it will be awhile before he can take me again. So we went out to a club and danced our butts off and got a little drunk, which I probably shouldnt have. But no more drinks for me till after this cycle. We got home about 5 am and slept all day. Our DD got to spend the weekend at her Grandmas so we had the house all to ourselves. SO now I have to get back to serious. Other thank that, everything so far so good.

dtao- you didn't get the job, b/c a new job with a pregnancy would be a lot to handle. remember you are PUPO and everything happens for a reason.

afm- my beta is not until sometime after labor day. i still need to make an appointment. i haven't POAS b/c i'm terrified and i thought it was still too early. i'm only 5dp5dt. but that doesn't meant that i won't. we'll see how long i can hold out. at the very least, i'll take one the day of the test, so i won't be so blown away. still having mild cramps, just like PMS. i hope that's a good thing and not a bad thing. i gave myself the PIO the other night b/c i was out to dinner with friends, and blood started literally pouring out of the injection site. the bleeding stopped as soon as i put pressure on it but, i called the nurse anyway. she said it was common . it was literally pouring onto the floor! it scared the sh** out of me! anybody had that happen?

Mjay - yes I have had that happen before!! DH gave me the shot, aspirated and there was no blood, then when he pulled the needle out blood went squirtting everywhere! Only happened once, but was a little scary. I had to hold pressure and lay down on the bed for a while. Hope it doesn't happen again for either of us!

Lady J- when is your FET scheduled for? On you taking estrogen yet?

As far as the half sibling, I don't mind the questions, I am still trying to figure out how this will all work. It is pretty crazy after 28 years. I do believe it to be possibly true, my dad does not deny that it is possible either, but there was a lot of speculation. I have seen pics and I do see some resemblance. It seems for now that I am the only one even remotely interested in pursuing a relationship. My brothers are not interested at all, but I hope some day they will come around. My dad has no plans for now, last I knew he would be telling his wife that I was contacted, and I guess I am just waiting for him to ask me questions in the future. This half sibling was under the impression for his entire life that my father denied him and wanted nothing to do with him (which is not the case at all, very complicated back story on all of this), so his purpose was solely to find siblings, and if my dad comes around at some point, I am sure he would be happy with it. For now, I have messaged back and forth with him and had a couple of very long phone conversations, and I think we will take slow steps...he is ecstatic to have found even me, and I am glad I could do that for him. But it is a very touchy topic right now, because I don't even know who in the family knows yet and if it is ok to talk openly about it. My potential brother has mentioned a dna test, which I would probably participate in if the opportunity presented itself. My guess is that I will meet him someday. CRAZINESS I tell you!

CT... Thanks for not getting bothered by my 20 questions. Thats goood that u would want to persue a relationship with him. I beleive I would like to too and more out of curiosity. That right there is crazy hun. wow!!! Wih u lots of luck with that. As for your FET cycle... I am glad that are moving right along. I will keep u in my prayers so that U can be able to proceed with it. As for me... I dont know when FET is scheduled for yet. I have my next US/BW on Wednesday. Hopefully they will tell me that day. If they do the 14 day cycle, then it would fall on Sunday pr maybe Monday aboput the 6-7th. I am on Del estrogen already. They started me on Wednesday the 26th and I inject every other night on my butt. I am also on Heparin twice a day in my stomach, plus baby aspirin, metformin, prenatal vitamins and antioxidants. Does that sound normal?
I guess I will start POI after transfer?

dtao - sorry about the interview. When did you take the last HPT? I think there is probabyl a chance it could be wrong. It could very well be too early or your levels may not be high enough yet. Like shelby said, you are still PUPO!

I hope everyone is doing well. I am getting so nervous about everyone's betas. I really think that I get as excited to see other women't BFP's on this board as I did/will my own! I know how much you ladies want this and I want it jsut as much for you! PMA PMA PMA!

lady j- wish I knew what was "normal" but this is my first fet. I am only on lupron daily injections, and estrace pills 3 times a day. I continue the estrace until the fet and 3 days before I stop lupron and start crinone gel twice a day (they wanted me to do pio but after all the horror stories I have heard I requested crinone which is what I used for my fresh cycles.) I will also take doxycycline and medrol the 3 days before transfer, but I think those are just antibiotics to reduce risk of infection. Sounds like I have it a lot easier than you do!

Wolffie- my masters will be in elementary education, I already have a bachelors in it and my certification, but teachers have to get their masters within a certain time period after becoming certified, so I figured I might as well finish it now before I have 2 little ones to chase after. I actually wasn't planning on getting my masters this soon, I was actually trying to get my second certification in middle school math, and after finishing all the course requirements for that last semester, I realized I was only 3 courses away from my masters, so I will be done in December...yippee!

I am officially PUPO! Yeah! I transferred 3 great, day 5 embies. I pray they are getting nice and snug now.

Beta on Wed., 9/8. That seems like a gazillion years away!
