Not that it makes a difference but I have had 7 failed IUI's, 3 failed IVF's and 3 failed FET's... and ZERO CHILDREN... and yes I am going to be undergoing treatment again in the summer, so yes, I know a thing or two about what I am talking about... I am entitaled to my opinion that secaly gives IVF a bad name, and this is a public forum, and if I choose to post my percepation of someone based on their own actions and they're own words, I will do so...
These are the exact words of secaly back in July 2009...

We were doing IVF with DE just so we would NOT have a Donw's Syndrome child... boy the ods were way lower then that in my head but yes at 44 my ods were high... I though my husband wouldn't mind the adoption if we found a good family but he seams to mind? Its just me who doesn't seam to be ready to raise a ds child... maybe I am wrong... I posted a LONNNGGGG post before and when I went to check on it-there is no record of it

First off-I am not going to address perturbed but rather Helene....what I have learned this past year is to NOT judge what anyone is going through nor their personal beliefs so with that being said you have my 100% support in being here and there is no need in my eyes to justify your being here. I'm sure finding out you were pregnant with a child with DS was very difficult and you should NOT have that thrown in your face. This is a forum for us to speak our inner most feelings/secrets/thoughts/etc and I really hope that you just ignore this woman. We all desire to have a family whether that is 6 children or 1 and she should not take her emotions out on you.

AFM...unfortunately still sick with this terrible head cold. I tried the netti pot this morning and it was a disaster!!! My left sinus is so clogged that the solution didn't go through my passage and clogged up my ear!!! Not taking meds is hard but I'm trying to kick it by napping and drinking tons of fluids!! I go in tomorrow again for an SnS and fingers crossed my numbers stay high and I don't start spotting. I am going to hold out till Thursday to POAS but I'm not convinced I won't break down tomorrow!!!! xoxox

Claudia – sorry to hear of the head cold. The cold is probably due to the increase in progesterone. I bet you, you are pregnant. I had that with all my pregnancies when my progesterone increased. Look at the adverse events for progesterone and you will see what I’m talking about. But, I think it is safe to take Sudafed for it. Not, that it did any good for me but my head cold soon passed.
Perturbed – Yes, you are entitled to your opinion but please don’t bring that drama here! We have all been through so much in our lives and I know I don’t need anything else. Take this time to be positive instead of full of hatred because I am sure positive things will happen in your life! We are all adults and we need to treat each other with respect. You might not agree with everyone’s decisions but you need to respect them as a human being.

Babyluv- I love the dinner last night … that sounds like fun!! I was just in Orlando in February for a business meeting. We stayed at the Gaylord Resort so I was able to have a little fun before I jumped back in to IVF and all of the medications if have to take to get ready for the transfer!!
Rlk1- whoo hooo … transfer on Thursday huh? I am sure that your embryo will be fine. I am happy we are both in the same boat as far a the number to transfer that way we can be compare notes … lol!
Helene – all I can say is thanks for sticking around. We all are coming from different places in our lives but we all have an ultimate goal to have a beautiful baby! It hasn’t worked out for every lady on this thread (I know this as well as anyone as I lost my daughter) but I don’t think that you should be target of hatred because of your previous experiences.
Tammy – I am glad AF started for you today … my retrieval will probably be the same week as your transfer and my transfer will probably happen the week after you. So we will be very close with our calendars!

I am so sorry you are feeling so out of the woods... how long do you have to go on without taking any medication? This must be terrible. Thanks Angela, I can imagine that going through what you girls are going through is very hard... even more then you are so close and it's gone all of a sudden. I only had a mc and I thought it was the end of the world then... but being in your girls shoes I would be devastated. You girls are very strong and you deserve the best by trying and trying and keeping the spirith after it all.

Hello all,
Well it's tues evening here in cold Kansas. I skipped a pain pill in an attempt to clear my head and wake up !!!!! I have spent the last 2 days asleep,hot packing my bobo,eating so i could take a pain pill, and sleeping, did I mention that already? The hours are running together....must get to board............... Well I took the last BCP yesterday hahahahahashaha so my AF continues though not heavy becausse I sent alot of it out to a few of you. I appreciate all the warm wishes and hopes for no cancellation, that is my biggest fear at this point. This is the time I can feel it, I have psyched myself up as a board we are off to a great start. Yea !!!! I got my BIAB today so thats a big PMA booster.
Ladies I have to say how much I appreciate each and everyone of you. I know that if my PMa is running low, I can stop in for a fill up. To anyone not in our shoes a message board sounds boring and a hassle, but to us.... to me...some days it's my lifeline. For that I thank you.
I am on the mend, fully expect a good report tomorrow and Friday (SnS) and to be able to start stims Friday. Work is most likly not pleased as I still fully intend to take off a week for ER/ET. I am thinking only of my health and will do what ever I can to increase our chances of conception.
Must add to grocery list: pineapple,sweet potatoes....

I'm stalking many of you as I either cycled with you in Nov/Dec or Jan/Feb. Keep up the PMA ladies... believe it WILL happen, because it CAN. And don't pay any attention to the Debbie Downer posts. No one needs that.

Hi everyone - I just wanted to send a quick note to wish you all luck with wherever you are in the stage of the process - I'm planning on starting my stim drugs later this month with an FET in early May (fingers crossed I will have good news to share!)

Sara - Ok, so I went to betabase.info because I was a little suspicious of your beta at 14dpo (days past ovulation/retrieval)...you are above the median for twins!! It doesn't mean you will have twins for sure but your chances are very good!!! Congrats - either way you have a very strong beta. I'm sure your beta tomorrow will be great as well - I can't wait to hear what it is!!

AFM, my beta is on Friday at 18dpo. My clinic does not do a second beta for strong first betas but I'm going to ask for a second if my first one is good. I've decided waiting 2 weeks for my u/s is just too long not knowing if things are going well. As far as symptoms go, I'm incredibly tired for parts of the day - the rest of the day I'm just moderately tired. I pee a lot - i think this is partially due to early preg. symptoms and to my intake of fluids. I'm constantly drinking something. I also have this weird symptom - let me know if you've heard of this before because I have not. I had this with my DD as well - my forehead is very sensitive to hot temperatures. I can't hold my face in the stream of a hot shower, in front of a hot oven or grill. It gets worse as time goes by too....very odd. I didn't notice it until later in my pregnancy last time. Maybe I was looking for it this time.....Well I hope everyone has a great night and a great day tomorrow!!
