Morning all - I know Lil P - March almost, amazing, how did that happen!

Smita - don't feel bad re. personals - it's so important that you have your rest time and your time with your little darling now. I think Kim has just managed to fluke an incredibly quiet baby (bless her) - I'm sure the rest of us will really struggle to be on here after birth much - it's just lovely to hear how things are goiing for you now and again so just tell us about you when you have the time and don't think you've got to keep up with all our news at the same time!

Jacs - lovely to hear from you, I'm glad you're feeling organised after antenatal - I'm still watiing to start my classes! Hope you get your stronger pain killers soon - sounds like you could do with them.

Anyway, I'm off to work on my essays - still two to do before the birth! Still, it stops me obsessing about it!

Love to all, Cherylxxx

Hi Ladies.
Glad to see everyone is doing so well.
I have to say even though I am only 32 weeks I am ready to have this baby. My back is killing me and I have had horrible pressure down low.
I have a friend that predicted that I am going to have him this Thursday afternoon.
I am not too worried about Joseph because I got shots of steriods at the 27 week mark when I was in the hospital. So I know his lungs and everything are a okay.
I just can't wait to meet this little guy and hold him in my arms. See what he looks like. UGH the torture. 7 more weeks until the csection although doc does not think I will make it to then.
Lil P you are so close now I am so thrilled for you.
SMita I know even though you are tired you are soooooo in love with that little girl and you would give up every hour of sleep to be with her.
Love
Joy

Good to hear from you - sorry you've got a bad back, but from the sounds of things it looks as though all is going in the right direction.

I hope that all you other 3rd Trimester ladies are doing ok and looking after yourselves at your various stages.

Big hugs to all

Little P

Hi ladies.

Hope everyone is doing ok. I had a growth scan yesterday which showed at 34 weeks my boy is already over 7lbs!! He is huge and above the 95th percentile on all measurements. Anyone else having a whopper?? I am very concerned about labour now, I am only 5 ft 1".

However no signs of an early labour as his head not fully engaged yet and my cervix still closed. I keep hoping my dates are wrong and I am 40 weeks as his growth indicates, though that is not very likely. Like averyone else I have started to feel a decrease in movements.

Come on Little P and Esther, I want to hear about some more babies. I am looking forward to hearing your good news.

Take care all

Wow - way to go girl!!!

At least everything is showing healthy and your little boy is happy that is what matters. Don't panic about the labour, well try not to - I'm sure everything will go smoothly for you.

Have they changed your EDD, or do they still think it could be up to 6 weeks away?

Have they given you guestimate of the full term weight?

Anyway, take care and look after yourself.

Hie All

Nice to see things moving along nicely for everyone.

My pains are coming and going and they are not serious.
I keep thinking, here it comes, and then everything goes quiet again.

SMITA- when did you start noticing milk coming out, I thought I should be leaking by now, Iam getting worried I might not be able to produce any milk.

HAS ANYONE NOTICED IT YET. WHEN DOES IT COME OUT, DOES IT START AS SOON AS THE BABY STARTS FEEDING.

Hi everyone

Smita - Great to hear from you, but I have to say you are amazing to be posting at all with so little sleep! Hopefully things will settle for you soon and once the visitors have calmed a bit, you can catch up a bit on sleep during the day. Cheryl is right - I have been very lucky, but its only recently she has settled into a routine, so Im sure your little one will soon.
Take care and get plenty of rest! A health visitor who did one of our antenatal classes said that you are basically convalescing (sp?) for 6 weeks after the birth and after having a caesarian it must be longer for you. Hope your visitors are making the cups of tea etc!!!

Esther - I had the same worry as you re milk production - I produced nothing at all until I gave birth.(And even then, because it was just colostrum for the first couple of days, I wouldnt have known I was producing anything for her even while I was feeding) Now, I have no problems at all (far from it in fact!) so dont worry!!! Hoping your pains are the start of something! Take care and all the best!!

Olivia - Wow - Hope you've not been buying newborn clothes - he wont fit!!! My cousins children (Girl and boy) were both 9lb 8oz at birth (which is what Jenna weighed today!) and she gave birth ok. Take it easy!

Joy - Sorry to hear about your bad back. I remember what lower back pain was like when pregnant. It does improve after you give birth, but Im acutely aware of how bad my posture is sometimes and feel it again.
Wouldnt it be strange if your friends prediction came true? You might beat Little P and Esther to it!!

Cheryl - Good luck with the essays! You are good, I certainly couldnt have been bothered late in pregnancy! Hope you dont give birth before your antenatal classes start!! Are they NHS or NCT ones?

Jacs - Sorry you are still suffering. Hope everything sorts out after the birth. Look after yourself.

Little P and Esther - Hope the waiting isnt driving you both too mad!!

Vicky, Jaymee and anyone else Ive forgotten(!) Hope you are doing ok.

Jenna will be 6 weeks old on Thursday!!! She is now more alert and has just started smiling! (Its definately NOT wind!!) Although I was a BIT put out when she gave my mum her biggest smile yet!!

Take care all
Love kim

Hi girls,

Smita and K your babies sound so wonderful, i am couning down the weeks until its my turn. I am so bad i am not a very paient person.

My twins are going well, i am feeling a little grumpy lately and teary. I am too tired to go out much so I have to plan to go out and really make an effort, I realy feel frustrated because i go to the mall and go to one shop and then i feel like i have to go home and rest. I am so very greatful to be blessed with twins so i feel petty.

Esther: hoping your baby has mercy on you soon :), my daughter was born at 42 weeks and was induced even then, it was waaay to comfy for her in there :).

Littlep: maybe your baby is waiting for Esthers :) Thinking of you and wishing you a perfect delivery soon.

good luck to all the other 3rd tris geting close to their due dates, and of course those that still have longer to go.

Hi all

Hope everyone's having a good day - I am posting somewhat out of necessity due to strange occurrences with my PC - so not going to say much in case it doesn't work!

Sounds like everyone is progressing nicely although sorry to hear about the backs aches and other pains. Touch Wood I still haven't had anything like that - just a bit breathless now and rather tired.

We are supposed to be moving house in a couple of weeks so that'll be interesting - not sure how sorted it'll be before the baby arrives - but I'm sure he won't mind! Anyway lets see if this works. Love Vicky.

I know - it's mad isn't it!! Time has really flown by for me - well so far anyway - I'm really lucky to be moving and stuff as it really passes the time. Essay writing must be an absolute nightmare - how do you concentrate?! I'm really undisciplined - don't know how I'd make myself focus! Love Vicky

Vicky

Just wanted to wish you loads of luck with the move - remember, don't go lifting any heavy boxes!!

I, too, can't believe how quickly time is passing by - already March and here we go .... where has this year gone already?

Off to NCT tonight - nearly finished all the classes.
