Hi All

Some of you may remember me I haven't been on the boards much lately I have tried to read it now and again - but can't keep up. As I am sure you will understand I had to stay away for a bit after my -ve result in May it hit me harder than I expected

Well here I am back and have about 16 follicles (can't spell) that are waiting to be collected on Monday - so 5 months since the last time here we are again. Scared and not looking forward to the 2ww - trying to take things one step at a time and not worry about it and just hope I can get there.

Sue - glad to see you got 8 eggs that is great hope you are ok and will keep fingers crossed for your embies. I know what you mean about being swollen - luckily I am off work and hanging around in my trackies

Debra - gald to see you are on the trail again - how is the heathly eating going? I got the taste for plain choc digestives and have been bad ever since I am blaming my belly on the tmt - might be the biscuits

Pootle - hi we haven't spoken before but I just wanted to say hi - although I live near Liverpool now I am originally from Aylesbury

Little P - glad things are going well for you

Hi ladies,

Just wanted to stop in and say hiya, and at the same time tell you I won't be around much for the next couple days. DH is getting home this morning. Yippeee!! I think i've seen him for about 5 days in the last month.

Anyways, just wanted to congratulate you Sue on your 8 embies!! Way to go! I'll be thinking of you and praying that all your embies fertalize.

Judy, 12 fertalized eggs for you, woo hoo! that's fantastic Good luck on your ec.

Coleen, PMA, hoping you get the good news from your blood results so you can go ahead with your ec next week. Keeping my fingers crossed for you.

Pootle, your almost there!! Keep up the PMA, i know it must be very hard but you can do it. Your on the homestretch now. Hoping and praying for a BFP for you!!

Debra, keep up the PMA, I know it's a long wait for everything but you can do it

Well ladies, I should get running. I need to go to the airport soon and i'm still sitting in my pj's. lol.

Finished my bcp's yesterday so now i'm waiting. Don't feel any signs of af yet, hopefully she's on her way. Starting the jig

I can't believe I am actually getting the opportunity to tell you guys this...but I got a BFP DH and I are still in total shock, but out of this world happy. I go in on Monday to make sure that the HCG levels are rising accordingly, but the numbers right now are really good! They think it's twins, but can't confirm for a few more weeks.

I am a little nervous, because I know a lot of things can happen, but at this point I am just happy to have reached this next stage.

I was certain it hadn't worked...can you believe it?!

Colleen- Glad your follies are growing nicely, are you visualising them growing, many people think that it helps. hoping the blood results are fine, when will you get them?

Debra - My clinic like yours does the first scan for follies around day 9/10, the wait is frustrating, but im sure you will be fine, not too much longer before you check.

We still have 12 embies in the race, although 10 seem to be going great guns! We now know that ET will be on Monday (Day 5). Have found this bit to be quite nerve racking. (Sorry, don't have Smita's fancy icons!!!)

All fine here. I think I hit a nerve today when I injected, not sure I've ever done that before. I was leaping around in silent pain as MIL was here for lunch!

Just a quick post to let you know that all 8 fertilised and are doing well, 3 have been frozen and the best 2 will be put back on monday afternoon. I am so pleased, i cant believe it.

Hi ALL

Sue - I am sooo pleased for you all 8 fertilzed that is really good news. Why were there 6 people in the room for your EC - I only remeber there being 3 during my last one

Debra - hi - is this the list you meant (see below) I am lucky although Sue and I are at the same clinic I get a day7 scan because of my close OHSS the first time and I was only on two vials of menopur - the Puregon seems to have worked nicely for me - they don't use it much the woman who showed me how to use the pen etc said it was the first time she had seen anyone on it for about a year (which worried me at the time).

I am trying hard to keep the PMA up - this week has been easier because I have been off work on holiday so no stress hoping if we are lucky enough to get to the dreaded 2WW that my GP will sign me off sick

Judy - good luck for Monday - seems we will all be busy that day!!

hi there everyone....

i really do not have the time to chat with you all.... but i did want to say AWESOME NEWS BRANDY.... i am SO happy for you and DH..... it is so exciting to see someone get a REALLY BFP... gives me more hope....

well, i'll give you a quick update..and i'll try to catch up tomorrow, but it's been a long day, and i'm very tired!!! we are still going good... my bloods are great, and we have another scan and bloods tomorrow, and then HCG tomorrow (as long as everything is still cool) so it looks like we will have EC on Tuesday!!!! and they are saying there are 40-50 follicals... don't worry, i always respond this way, and we've tried everything not to get so many, but i do..... so they are already talking OHSS....so say a little prayer i don't get it!!!

i'll try and chat tomorrow.... so everyone take care!!
