Leora- I hope the blood test come back just fine and no surgery is need esp before a vacation! I'm sure this vacation will do wonders for you both individually and as a couple. You have both been through SO MUCH at once that you need a break to relax and enjoy yourselves and each other. We are just going to continue to just save up and see where we are at when we move, if it happens this year. We MAY be close to a shared risk but not sure. If not we'll just go for it and pray/hope HARD that we have lots to freeze and make it through the thaw. I completely understand the waiting part. It drives me crazy!! It is so hard because I am so ready to do this. I've read so many things, looked up things, asked you gals questions. I AM READY! However I must wait!

Janis- How exiting!! It sounds really good and hope you are ready to go this weekend! Good luck!!

Alwaysangel - so sorry you are going through this - hopefully that # will start dropping on it's own. hang in there and keep faith that things will turn around for you soon

Leora - i'm so glad you decided to go on vacation - after the insane few months you have had, you DEFINITELY need one! just wish you could be done with this last cycle and be able to rest up and get ready for the next one. hope you and your hubby have a great time and are able to get in some good bonding time!

Gina - yay on tax refund funding future cycles! We need to get cracking on our taxes too!

Anton - any updates on your job opportunities? I have my fingers crossed for you that you get some positive news on Monday! Just want to add how awesome and supportive you are to everyone here - even when you are in between cycles, you are being such a strength and positive light to all of the ladies on this board. Your time is going to come mama - I can't wait to see you on the other side!

AFM - things are going pretty well. I had dr appointment on Monday and all 3 babies are still doing well. I haven't had any more spotting (it's been ~4 weeks now since last spotting) and the hematoma was much smaller on this week's U/S! Sizewise they are all measuring a bit ahead of schedule! That surprised me a bit considering how sick I have been the past couple of weeks but apparently the babies are getting plenty of nourishment My nausea really seemed to pick up around week 11 and has been pretty consistent the last 2 weeks. I've been sick regularly and have had some killer headaches and constipation (sorry TMI). I've been trying to make sure I'm getting enough water but seem to lose lots of what I drink each time I get sick Dr said I should be on the tail end of the nausea at this point but that 50 mg of Vitamin B6 should help if I need it. I'm hoping to feel better soon because I know there is lots to do to get ready for babies and I need some energy back!

Hi ladies,
I amso sorry that I haven't been doing personals a's I usually do. I have been feeling so sick that it takes all of my energy to just do the little bit of personal I have been doing. I do try to keep up as best a possible with everyone's posts and I am always praying for each and everyone of you. This weekend I thought the nausea had gotten a little better but boy was I wrong. The nausea has been horrible in the evening but today I woke up nauseous and I will probably be going to bed feeling the same. I've never felt like this before. Unfortunately I think that my sinus infection has not cleared up. I may need to take another course of antibiotics. And to top it off, I'm spotting dark brown every couple of days. I can't wait to start feeling better but that seems like it's never going to happen. Sorry for all of the complaining, I really do feel pretty sick these days.

Leora: the waiting sounds impossible for you so whilst it might be good to take a break and let your body repair it sounds just too much. I worry a little for your heart too though (not in the physical sense!) And your posts are so full of pain. I know they couldnt be any other way with all that has happened and i cant imagine the hurt. Im sure its additionally hard that just at the moment you cant reach out to david nor he to you and i know that will pass for you both but as two people who seem to turn to each other alot im sure this piece is lonley. You know what might be helpful on that when verbalising stuff is hard? Write each other a short letter, a kind one, and keep it with you x

Afm: good day, at meetings most of the day and spent some time with a friend. Because of the meetings I didntndo the work with the suicide group but the new facilitator was there. Apparently one of them savaged her, told her style was all wrong and I never treated her the way this lady was. I spoke with the facilitator and i may live to regret my compassion for her but i genuinely was sorry for her, the attack came from nowhere and my colleague who is leaving didnt back her up which was bad. Looking like af will be a day late but I think she is en route.

Awww feel better.. I know it's not easy but hang in there you will gain energy back in the second trimester and you are more then halfway there!

Leora,
IVF can take an emotional toll on relationships at times...I'm thinking this upcoming cruise could help you and David emotionally reconnect? I know it's hard to let go of all this, even our minds sometimes gets fixated on nothing but IVF at times, but just spending some quality time together with no distractions is powerful. This vacation should help you replenish emotional energy and gain some reconnectivity. Maybe try something spontaenous that David would never expect...hmmm, I might need the girls ideas on a great way to surprise him. Well I can share one idea and it's perfect for Valentine's Day, if you are a romantic. Purchase a bag of Hershey's kisses and hide them throughout the house in places he would most likely look. Each time he finds one he has to give you a kiss.

It sounds like you go through much drama at work, yet stay in control with positive energy, I hope you are able to find some time to unwind and recharge for this upcoming cycle. Planning on trying acupuncture anytime soon? If anything a nice massage would be the perfect Valentine's gift to ourselves. Nothing ever wrong with treating ourselves. x

Thankful to have the next two days off...Sometimes I feel like I have this love/hate relationship with my boss, yes we need a break away before someone is strangled. Much surprise to even me, that when a customer came in the boutique today with her 9 month old son in the stroller and all, I DID NOT get jealous and EVEN helped her find new clothes that fit. Maybe I surprised myself there, or maybe I was just too exhausted to even care? The ABSOLUTE highlight of my day was hearing from Belles!!! She texted me asking if I wanted to get together on Friday with her mom for Hobby Lobby and a cup of coffee...lol AnnaBelle is only 10 yrs old, but acts so grown-up at times...lol coffee really?

Maria- I'm sorry you feel so bad. I hope it goes away soon. I've heard preggy pops help. Many say you can take unisom to help, of course check with your doc. Nausea SUCKS!

Always- So sorry you are dealing with the beta roller coaster.

Leora- I swear you are my hero. I don't know how you have managed to deal with so much loss and frustration. Your marriage must be really strong as well. Infertility and miscarriage often take a terrible toll on relationships.

Kbillsy- It's great to hear from you. I'm sorry you are dealing with the sickness, but am thrilled that your LOs are doing well.

Sunshine- I love your hershey kiss idea. I'm trying to figure out what to do this year. It's only a couple of weeks before our 1st wedding anniversary too. Hopefully I will be able to give him a BFP!

Patricia- I had to laugh about your colleague. I know that isn't very nice, but maybe she learned something from it. I've been attacked by my students with Asperger's Syndrome. It's not pleasant but it is a learning experience.

AFM- Is 2dp5dt too early to POAS?? I will POAS probably starting this weekend. There is no way I will hold out until the beta on the 17th. I am super tired and am taking it easy. My body aches and my MS symptoms have flared a bit. I'm not worried about it. It's just my body adjusting to all of the meds. I get the strangest sensation that I think is labeled as internal tremors. It feels like my organs in my chest are made of jello and someone shook me. I don't have any other way of describing it. My startle reflex has been on hyperdrive. It all makes me very uncomfortable but isn't dangerous. I've learned to live with it.

FUNNY STORY- I'm watching "The Untold Stories of the ER" on TLC. OMG so freaking hilarious tonight. One story is about a man who had a bad reaction to viagra and had the erection from hell. It had been going for 6 hours! It gets better. While in the ER with a woman holding his hand----his WIFE comes in. Next thing is a girl fight over top of him! Then the women make amends and go in to visit him. They totally started whaling on him then! He went in for surgery to have a needle inserted to drain his penis. Nobody comes to visit him and even his mom is mad. He left the hospital alone. That's what he gets!

I would like to smack my dh. He decided tonight was a good night to go donate blood after work. I didn't get the text because I left my phone upstairs by the bed. Of course, he didn't send it until 6:30pm. He could have told me one of the other 3 times we communicated today. He is usually home by 7:30pm. It would have been nice to know before this evening so I could have planned dinner. Instead, I'm starving while waiting. Grrrr. He does crap like that and it annoys the heck out of me. It's extra annoying when you add all the extra progesterone floating around in me. Ahhh. I feel better now.

Ninde- im physically feeling better, the bleeding has slowed down and the cramping is rarely happening! I just want to know what is going on and how to make it end!!!!

Found out this morning my Niece is having a girl. Since she doesn't talk to me or on my FB friends anymore, I saw it on her Dad's page since I was posting telling him Happy Birthday. I have really come a long way over the last several months, being happy for those getting pregnant, although it is still hard seeing those that get pregnant so easily and especially those that are ready at all! It is really bittersweet because I was hoping for a girl when I had a second (even though I'll be happy either way of course) baby and now this. A baby is a wonderful thing but it just isn't the best time right now for them. I do hope it all works out but really wish she would grow up! It is just really sad how she has become towards me these last couple of years. ONE DAY though it's going to bother her bad or I hope it goes.

Wanted to add that I do hope the baby is healthy and that her and her fiance' (weird saying that) will be good parents. That she will remember what she went through with her own especially her Mom. I hope she won't go back to Alcohol or drugs and remain sober which she did on her own. Him as well. My sister and brother in law I think are happy about a girl so they can do the things they didn't do with her. I just hope and pray for the best for them.

Hi ladies! Hope nobody was too worried about me. Last Wednesday I went out of town for business. Wednesday night I got word that my father-in-law had passed away (he had lung cancer so not unexpected but a very rapid decline so it was sooner than expected), so I changed my flight to head straight down to Phoenix where he lived on Friday rather than coming home. Also had to arrange car and flights for DD and DH. We were there until yesterday. Pretty exhausting. I was worried about more bleeding with all the travel but I have been absolutely fine. Just more nausea and heartburn.

Maria - I'm so sorry you're having to deal with the nausea and the continued bleeding. Have you actually thrown up? I'm finding myself almost constantly nauseous, but it's somewhat manageable and I haven't vomited.

Leora - I was of the same opinion as your family friend OB. If they're going to open up your cervix to do the hysteroscopy anyway, why not just get out what's in there while there? I'm sure if they don't see anything that needs taken out they won't actually do the D&C. 62 weeks - oy vey. Going waaaaaaay back to your post about driving to Tel Aviv - the attitude makes sense given those gas prices. Yikes! Funny though - here in our landlocked state we'll drive even longer than that just to get to a LAKE.

Angel - so sorry about the rising beta and potential ectopic. Really hope you get it resolved soon.

Ninde - 6lb is awesome! I've no doubt you'll get close enough for your clinic's comfort by mid-March.

Nicole - congrats on being PUPO! One hatching blast sounds just fabulous.
