Janis: I'm glad some of the answers gave you some hope. Try and relax a little bit, stress and the corisol it releases isn't good for you so try and counteract it with doing something nice for yourself
Ker: Yes, church of Ireland is protestant - I'm not quite sure what you mean though when you said church of england is barely protestant?! How are you feeling?
Always: I'm really glad it isn't ectopic. So an early m/c can keep the beta high? I'm honestly not sure what else you can ask for in terms of testing but I know lots of the women here have lots of knowledge on that so hopefully someone can advise.
Nicole: the walk sounds absolutely beautiful. How are the cramps? I'm probably not being very accurate when I say no protein - no protein from meat sources every second day so I'm loading in things like lentils which will help. However that awful bloody no sugar, low protein headache is kicking in which I'm not thrilled about. Its definately only for a short period of time, I think my trainer took pity on me when I explained about the hospital! It also is no sugar, no dairy, no salt and pretty much no anything nice! But I am allowed 2 rice cakes a day - don't like them but I'll definately eat them! Well done on the 6lbs - thats really great.
Christy: Ouch, that sounds like a tough day. Nicole is right about the not having ivf when you are adopting - at least thats the reasoning here. However, I'm just not telling them - it would be fine if it was a quick process but its not, it will take at least another 5 years on top of the nearly 2 we have been waiting. We have run into huge problems because of Ken's MS - they want us to spent 1600 euros for him to have two days of work evaluation tests because they want an indepedent report - i.e. they won't accept his neurologist's report. Its horrendous and whats even more annoying is that the chief medical officer who reviews the reports is also his company doctor so we have a huge conflict because he isn't working at the moment as the MS really affects his concentration around detail. So it feels like the report they want for the adoption is actually far more about his suitability to return to work. Sorry, rant over! Back to you! I'm really delighted that your dh spoke to you about his thoughts on adoption and I'm so glad it eases the pressure on you.
Leora: I'm really glad you did what you needed to do and told your friends you couldn't tolerate another ceremony for a baby. Is that the lady who you went to see in the hospital and is really difficult? In terms of the April date - seriously - they want you to wait even though the "retained tissue" (sorry, no clue what else to call it) has grown? Is there any danger to you?
Gina - sounds like valentine's day is even more special for you

Maria: I was just posting to see how you were when I saw your post come through. Oh you poor thing - thats awful. Constipation that bad is dreadful and if its the Zofran thats causing it its even worse as now you have to come off that for the nausea. I'm not sure if you can take magnesium but its very good for constipation -but please check that out in case its not safe. If not, lots and lots of water and magnesium-rich foods. thats great to got to hear their heart beats. I really hope you feel better soon x
Afm: At work for the morning but no clients which I'm kind of pleased about! I'm just here til 2 and then I'm going to an Edward de Bono seminar on creative thinking with my closest friend which is a rather nice way to spend Valentine's
