Hey Aunty

Wot bout a car boot sale/house sale - wotever they call it over there lol, and ask ur friends/neighbours to join in with you, they would be doing it for a great cause, set up posters/house to house delivery, part of the fund could be donated to infertility research. Decide which clinic u want to donate part of the money to (prob the clinic u are going to use) and ask them to help u out with advertising etc. You could set up a website and advertise on ivf boards, as long as the people who are sponsering u know that u are doing it for treatment for urself - then go for it hun. I would seriously think bout it .... You never know, it might just work :o

Becky i think they call it a yard sale, my inlaws are having one of those but when the weather gets better....actualy me and my mil have been trying to think of ways we thought about selling some of my paintings and stuff at her church i know they like my stuff ive done lots for them for free, but her pastor said he would only ok it if all the profit went to the church...(tight ass)...i wanted to do it not just for me but for everyone else too like Charity and Dory who i know are also in the same place...

really have to look into it...

Hi Ladies....

Thank you everyone for your congrats (Aunty, Shantala, TCB, Becky, Rachel, Arizona, Charlie, My2). Yes, still in shock. I rolled around in bed from 3am til 6am just thinking how excited and at the same time how overwhelmed I am. It's all good and DH and I are so thrilled.

Shantala...sounds like you've really handled your 2ww well. So proud of you. Each day is one day closer to your BFP.

Aunty...If you have your tag/garage sale, DH and I will drive up north to support your cause in a hearbeat!

I remember back in December on this thread a few of you referenced a Twins special that was on television. Does anyone remember what channel that was on, I'd love to buy the video now for obvious reasons.

hugs,
Ange

Becky yes the match was fab we had to beat ENGLAND and we did our selfs proud well done to us i expect we helped by shouting at the tele the boys are back now the have to get ready for next yr .

Aunty why not try selling stuff on ebay or even do a sponsered walk for your self i wish i could win the bloody lotto and i would send you the money for your ivf and any one else but good things like that dont happen do they .

Shantala you seem to be coping really well with your 2ww i hope you pma continues and then you will get your BFP in a couple of days .

Nothing new here just bloody work and more work i'm having mixed feelings about the egg sharing i know that if i do get accepted i will have to lose weight (alot) but at the moment its our only option ok must go dh is nagging me to go for cat food
hope all you ladies are good catch you tomorrow

Hello ladies!

SS: BACK TO THE CAPITAL LETTERS, I SEE, A VERY EXCITING TIME FOR YOU! :D GLAD YOUR TREASURES ARE BACK HOME HOPEFULLY FOR AN EIGHT MONTHS NAP!

shantala: you're doing so well sweetie, I'M SO PROUD of you! :D Keep the pma and keep non-analysing things! It's the thing to do!

Haylie: sorry that your u/s gives you tough decisions to make, but it's going to be like that for quite a while, as he is indeed the father but not in a relationship with you anymore. I'm sure you guys will eventually figure out whose place is what and where to draw the lines. Give yourself time for that. As for te u/s, well... you asked, and here's my two cents. If you feel you're still in love with him kinda, as you suggested, then I would avoid him like the pleague. Do wait until you're more emotionally stable before you interact with him again, no matter how long it takes. It's tempting to see him again here and there, see how he'll react, later on, see if he'll melt down looking at your belly and such. But unless you truly want to try and go back with him sweetie, I'd stay away. These situations bring nothing but trouble, hurt, uneasy situations and bitter tears.

Ange, oh WOW! I leapt when I read your post! WOW! I can hardly believe it, too, TWINS! Oh, you're so lucky sweetie! :D And I'm VERY happy for you! From the bottom of my heart! Come here you, mwwwwwwah! *HUGS* Enjoy the moment darling!

Take care ladies,

Sophie

Steph - typical! I don't want AF but it looks like I'm getting her anyway!

Aunty - thanks for that! That was exactly what I was thinking! I am supposed to be growing a nice thick lining not getting rid of it! I go for my next scan 23rd - so I guess I will find out how it's doing then. Do you think I should ring and tell clinic anyway?
I will definately vote for you when it opens!

Hope everyone had a good weekend!

Charlie i think you should call the clinic i think it might help put your mind at ease that its ok ...i was amazed at how fast my lining grew, the 23rd is way to far away and gives you much too much time to worry

rachel im with you on the lotto thing, it feels very wrong to be doing something just for me its not sitting well i will keep looking, of course your worried about egg share thing, i love egg share womb share and anything else share that can assist someone to have a family i just dont like that they make you share half your cycle i wish you could do your go after you have your baby then donate a full cycle of eggs to more couples ....but for now like you say this is the way you need to go and i like you would do anything (almost) i need to loose weight also i gained 60Lb's over a year and a half of IVF so we can loose it together, try to remember you will be doing something very amazing and touching the hearts and lives of someone in such an amazing way im sooo proud of you. You are an amazing woman big hug.

loads of love thinking of you Aunty
